"ABSTRACTMinimarket menyediakan berbagai macam kebutuhan sehari-hari dari masyarakat. Oleh karena itu tingginya permintaan pada toko jenis ini tidak mengherankan lagi. Berdasarkan penelitian oleh The Nielsen Company pada tahun 2017 menunjukan bahwa penjualan pada minimarket lebih tinggi 17 kali lipat jika dibandingkan dengan super market dan hypermarket. Hal ini menunjukan tingginya kebutuhan akan barang-barang yang dijual pada minimarket. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada salah satu cabang minimarket di kota Bandung yaitu Nindy minimarket yang terletak di daerah Sarimas. Selama ini toko ini tidak pernah memiliki panduan pasti dalam memesan produk nya sehingga jumlah produk yang dibeli dapat menjadi sangat banyak dan pada akhirnya meningkatkan holding cost. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pilihan bagi toko ini mengenai jumlah pemesanan yang harus dilakukan untuk mengurangi holding cost nya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan memilih 20 produk dengan penjualan tertinggi dimana produk ini akan diolah dengan menggunakan sesuai dengan cara pemesanannya yaitu metode continuous atau periodic. Untuk menghindari permintaan yang tidak terduga maka penelitian ini juga mencari jumlah safety stock yang harus ditentukan oleh toko sehingga dapat mengantisipasi permintan yang tidak terduga.

ABSTRACTMinimarket provides various kinds of daily needs from the community. Therefore, the high demand for this type of shop is not surprising anymore. Based on research by The Nielsen Company in 2017, it was shown that sales at the minimarket were 17 times higher compared to super markets and hypermarkets. This shows the high demand for goods sold on minimarkets. This research was conducted at one of the minimarket branches in the city of Bandung, namely Nindy minimarket located in the Sarimas area. So far this shop has never had a definite guide in ordering its products so that the number of products purchased can be very large and ultimately increase the holding cost. Therefore this study aims to provide an option for this store regarding the number of orders that must be made to reduce the holding cost. This research was conducted by selecting 20 products with the highest sales where this product will be processed using according to the method of ordering, namely continuous or periodic methods. To avoid unexpected requests, this research also looks for the amount of safety stock that must be determined by the store so that it can anticipate unexpected requests."

"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai metode untuk melakukan peramalan dan perhitungan safety stock untuk produk musiman di sebuah online store. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan disusun dengan rancangan studi kasus. Dalam penelitian ini akan digunakan winter?s model untuk metode peramalan dan metode dari APICS dan Herrin untuk metode perhitungan safety stock sebagai metode yang diajukan. Metode perhitungan yang diajukan dilakukan secara agregat dimana produk musiman yang akan diteliti adalah salah satu jenis produk dari online store terlepas dari warna, model, dan ukurannya.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan metode peramalan dan perhitungan safety stock yang lebih baik dalam aspek biaya dan terjadinya stockout dari kebijakan sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode peramalan yang diajukan memiliki error yang lebih kecil dan metode perhitungan safety stock yang diajukan dapat mengurangi jumlah safety stock sebesar 5% hingga 18% dengan batas stockout sesuai service level dari kebijakan sebelumnya, biaya penyimpanan hingga 50%.

In this research will be discussed about forecast and safety stock calculation method for seasonal product in online store. This research is a quantitative research and was conducted with case study design. In this research will be used winter?s model for forecast method and method from APICS nd Herrin for calculating safety stock as the proposed method. Calculated method that is proposed is in aggregate scope because seasonal product that will be used in the calculation is one of online store's product type with no detail and consideration of model, color, and size.

Main purpose of this research is to determine which forecast and safety stock calculation method is better in cost and stockout occurrence aspect compare to existing policy. The result shows that proposed method for forecasting has lower forecast error and proposed method for calculating safety stock can reduce 5% to 18% number of safety stock with service level limit for stockout , reduce up to 50% inventory cost."
