Abstrak :
Tulisan ini disusun atas dasar keinginan untuk melihat sejauh apa objek mampu menceritakan kembali cerita dari penggunanya dari suatu narasi novel. Ruang novel yang sebelumnya bias direkonstruksi kembali lewat teori objek dan presepsi, dalam hal ini novel '24 Kepribadian Billy' menjadi sampel dikarenakan kecenderungan Daniel Keyes selaku penulis dalam menceritakan pergantian kepribadian tokoh utama melalui objek yang tokoh Afford setiap kali kepribadian, latar, ruang dan waktu berubah. Tulisan ini akan berfokus kepada kaitan antara emosi pengguna, objek dan ruang dan bagaimana kombinasi analisa dari ketiganya mampu merekonstruksi kembali cerita secara utuh diatas imajinasi pembaca pada novel.

This writing purpose is to see how far the object is able to retell the story of its users from a novel narrative text. The uncompleted setting in the novel can be reconstructed by object and perception theory, in which case the novel '24 Personality of Billy' becomes a sample due to Daniel Keyes's tendency as the author in telling the personality of the main character through the object that the character afford whenever the personality, setting, space and time shifted. This paper will focus on the connection between user emotion, object and space and how the combination of the three can reconstruct the whole story above the reader's imagination in the novel.

Manusia yang memiliki dua telinga dan pendengaran normal memiliki kemampuan untuk melakukan lokalisasi suara dalam membaca ruang. Di masa dimana mata percaya apa yang mereka lihat, dapatkah manusia melihat melalui telinga? Manusia saling berhubung satu sama lain, mereka membutuhkan dan dibutuhkan, mereka membuat dan memakai. Bagaimana dengan suara yang mereka buat? Siapa yang terpengaruh dengan suara yang mereka buat? Tugas Akhir ini merupakan sebuah proyek studi dan rancangan yang membahas kemampuan manusia dalam membaca dan mendefinisikan ruang melalui suara dan gerakan. Pendekatan yang digunakan merupakan gabungan dari pendekatan intuitif dan teoritis. Proyek ini berakhir dengan ujung yang terbuka, menanti banyak eksplorasi dan aplikasi lebih lanjut.

People who are blessed with two ears and normal hearing have the ability to localize sound. The information from such work can be used as a way to read space. In time where eyes believe what they see, can people see through their ears? People always relate to each other, they have needs, and at the same time are needed by others. They give and they take. What about the sound they make? Who listen to their voice? This project is both a research and a design project. The topic is human ability to read and define space through sound and movement. Due to the rather arbitrary background of the topic, the approach of this project combines theoretical approach with intuitive approach. This result of this project is open-ended, longing for further exploration and application in the fields it may belong to.

Abstrak :
Arsitektur dan proses pembuatan roti baking terdengar seperti dua dunia yang berbeda. Namun ternyata pembentukan ruang menjadi kunci penting dalam proses pembuatan roti. Ruang-ruang yang terbentuk dalam proses pembuatan roti terjadi secara alami dan menjadi struktur dalam rigiditas roti. Tugas akhir ini mencoba untuk memandang transformasi yang terjadi pada proses pembuatan roti baking dari kacamata arsitektur. Dengan melakukan pemahaman mengenai bagaimana setiap elemen material berperan dalam transformasi ruang yang terjadi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memahami, merekam dan mencari potensi untuk mengontrol pertumbuhan ruang yang terjadi secara mandiri namun ternyata memiliki elemen kontrol.

The architecture and the baking process sound like two different worlds. But it turns out the formation of space becomes an important key in the process of making bread. The spaces formed in the baking process occur naturally and become structures in bread rigidity. This final project tries to look at the transformation that occurs in the baking process from the architectural view. By understanding how each material element plays a role in the transformation of space. This study aims to understand, record and seek the potential to control the growth of space that occurs independently but apparently has a element of control.

Abstrak :
Thirdspace merupakan sebuah teori yang menawarkan sebuah alternatif untuk keluar dari dominansi secondspace conceived space kelompok sosial dominan. Untuk mencapai thirdspace, dekonstruksi dilakukan kepada tatanan visi utopis dan oposisi biner yang diberlakukan oleh kelompok dominan. Kelompok dominan di sini adalah AMI Arsitek Muda Indonesia yang sekarang anggotanya telah mapan dengan nama pribadi. Kemapanan AMI dijelaskan melalui hegemoni budaya.

Thirdspace is a theory which offers an alternative from the dominance of the dominant social group rsquo;s secondspace conceived space . To achieve thirdspace, the dominant group rsquo;s order of utopian vision and binary oppositions. The dominant group is defined as AMI Arsitek Muda Indonesia which members have their personal names established with prestige. This prestige is then explained by cultural hegemony.

Abstrak :
Istilah belajar dari alam atau meniru alam kerap ditemui dalam berbagai disiplin ilmu, begitu pula dalam arsitektur. Mempelajari objek alam dan menerapkan hasil pembelajaran pada suatu desain berbasis cerita, dalam hal ini tumbuhan Bougainvillea menjadi topik utama pada tugas akhir. Untuk menemukan latar belakang, waktu dan setting cerita maka penelitian berfokus pada bagaimana tumbuhan Bougainvillea dapat tumbuh dan bertahan di habitat yang sangat kering. Hasil penelitian kemudian diolah menjadi suatu desain dengan anomali pertumbuhan Bougainvillea yang menjadi solusi dari konflik dalam cerita. Pada tugas akhir ini peran Bougainvillea sendiri sangat penting dalam pembangunan sistem, visual, dan atmosfer cerita.

Learning from nature or copying nature is something that we can easily find in every knowledge, as well as in arcitecture. Doing a research about the nature, in this case, Bougainvillea and integrating the result of result of research into design becomes the main topic in this final project. To find the background, time and place setting, the research focused on how Bougainvillea grow and survive in a very dry site. The result of research then processed into a story based design with anomalous secondary growth on Bougainvillea as a solution of a conflict in the story. In this final project, the role of Bougainvillea is very important in developing the system, visual, and atmosphere of the story.
