Departemen pemastian mutu merupakan salah satu departemen kunci di industri farmasi. Pemastian mutu adalah sebuah proses yang dilakukan untuk memvalidasi dan memastikan bahwa produk yang diproduksi aman dan memenuhi syarat yang diberikan oleh otoritas regulasi dari bahan baku hingga produk jadi. Departemen pemastian mutu memiliki tugas untuk memvalidasi setiap metode dan proses yang dilakukan memberikan hasil yang sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditentukan. Dalam pembuatan produk obat, bahan baku merupakan unsur yang penting. Pemastikan kualitas bahan baku menjadi tahap awal penentu obat yang diproduksi dapat memenuhi spesifikasi yang telah ditetapkan. Sebelum dipindahkan ke area produksi, bahan baku yang telah ditimbang akan disimpan di area staging sehingga selama masa penyimpanan kualitias bahan baku harus dapat dipastikan dengan cara menetapkan lamanya periode waktu tunggu penyimpanan bahan baku sebelum diproses ke tahap selanjutnya. Waktu tunggu dapat didefinisikan sebagai periode waktu yang ditetapkan untuk bahan obat yang disimpan di bawah kondisi dan spesifikasi yang telah ditetapkan. Tugas khusus ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tujuan pelaksanaan studi waktu tunggu pada bahan baku obat dan bagaimana pengaruhnya terhadap kualitas obat yang diproduksi, serta menyusun protocol studi waktu tunggu pada bahan baku obat. Hasil dari tugas khusus ini adalah pelaksanaan studi waktu tunggu pada bahan baku obat bertujuan untuk memberikan lama periode waktu tunggu yang dapat digunakan untuk menyimpan bahan baku di area staging sehingga tetap memberikan hasil yang sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang telah ditentukan. Protokol studi waktu tunggu pada bahan baku obat telah disusun sebagai bentuk dokumentasi dan pembuktian terhadap bahan baku yang telah ditimbang tetap memberikan hasil sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang telah ditetapkan setelah disimpan dalam periode waktu tertentu sebelum diproses ke tahap selanjutnya.  ...... Ensuring the quality of raw materials is the initial stage in determining whether the drugs produced can meet the specified specifications. Before being moved to the production area, the raw materials that have been dispensed will be stored in the staging area so that during the storage period the quality of the  raw materials must be ensured by determining the length of the holding period for dispensed raw materials to be stored before they are processed to the next stage. Holding time can be defined as a defined period of time for dispensed raw materials to be stored under established conditions and specifications. This special task aims to determine the purpose of carrying out holding time studies on dispensed raw materials and how they affect the quality of the drugs produced, as well as preparing a protocol for holding time study on dispensed raw materials. The result of this special task is the implementation of a holding time study on dispensed raw materials with the aim of providing a long holding time period that can be used to store dispensed raw materials in the staging area so that it still provides results in accordance with predetermined specifications. The holding time study protocol for raw materials has been prepared as a form of documentation and proof that raw materials that have been dispensed still produce results in accordance with predetermined specifications after being stored for a certain period of time before being processed to the next stage.
