ABSTRAK
Ambon merupakan kota dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan penduduk tertinggi di Provinsi Maluku, yang menjadikan kebutuhan lahan terbangun yang tinggi dan pesat. sehingga dapat menurunkan daya dukung lahan kota tersebut. Hal ini menyebabkan prediksi daya dukung lahan perlu dilakukan agar status daya dukung lahan dapat diketahui sebelum mengalami penurunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model dinamika spasial daya dukung lahan di Kota Ambon. Penelitian ini menggunakan data populasi 2008 - 2018 dan citra Landsat 5 TM (2008) tahun 2008-2018, dan citra Landsat 8 OLI (2013 dan 2018). Daya dukung lahan diprediksi dari tahun 2008-2100 dengan metode model system dinamis berdasarkan hubungan antara kebutuhan lahan dan pertumbuhan penduduk serta ketersediaan lahan untuk lahan terbangun, yang kemudian dikonversikan ke spasial untuk melihat sebaran spasial dengan metode model dinamika spasial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahun 2033 daya dukung lahan di Kota Ambon telah mencapai 30% dan pada tahun 2051 daya dukung lahan telah habis.

ABSTRACT.
Ambon is a city with the highest economic and population growth in Maluku Province which makes the built-up land have high and rapid growth so that it can reduce the land carrying capacity of the city. This causes the predictions on the land carrying capacity needs to be done so that the status of the land carrying capacity can be detected before declining. The aim of this study is to produce a spatial dynamics model of land carrying capacity in Ambon City. This study uses population data of 2008-2018, Landsat 5 TM (2008) images, and Landsat 8 OLI images (2013 and 2018). The land carrying capacity is predicted from 2008-2100 using the system dynamics model method based on the relationship between land requirements based on population growth and land availability based on built-up land, which then converted to spatial to see the spatial distribution with spatial dynamics model method. Research shows that in 2033 the land carrying capacity in Ambon City has reached 30% and in 2051 the land carrying capacity has been exhausted.

The rapid and uncontrolled population growth of the city causes pressure on the availability of land. In addition, various problems such as uneven public facilities such as disasters such as floods and landslides that occur at this time will be even worse in the future. This research attempts to make projections regarding population growth so that the available land can be used sustainably. Modeling system is a method that can describe real situations regarding land availability. Land use suitability assessment is the main determinant in the planning and decision making process. The variables taken for this study are slope, altitude, and land cover. This study provides information on projections of population growth and built areas, as well as land suitability for future city formation and flood and landslide mitigation strategies for the development of built areas.
