"Saat ini akses menuju ke Surabaya masih banyak menggunakan transportasi darat, sehingga hampir setiap tahun jumlah kendaraan di jalan pantura meningkat drastis. Transportasi kapal dengan jenis wavepiercing katamaran menjadi salah satu pilihan yang tepat untuk mengembangkan tol laut sebagai pengalihan kepadatan yang terjadi. Pada skripsi ini, penulis membatasi pembahasan yaitu sistem transportasi laut menggunakan wavepiercing katamaran. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh yaitu: Analisis biaya pembuatan kapal wavepiercing katamaran, Sistem perancangan alat transportasi, sistem ticketing, dan sistem dipelabuhan. Dari beberapa analisis tersebut kapal wavepiercing katamaran layak dibuat dan digunakan di perairan Pantura (pantai utara).
