ABSTRAK
Drainage construction for plantations development on peatlands often caused controversy. Drainage construction will be followed by subsidence of peatland . To be able to extend the chance to get profit in the plantation business subsidence prevention efforts are needed. Setting water level and the prevention of excessive drainage is one of the efforts to reduce the rate of subsidence of the peat.This study is based on literature review by collecting information from various sources and then comparing and analyzing it so that information is obtained on a comprehensive subject matter. Literature review include: monitoring parameters, types of equipment for monitoring, pattern placement monitoring equipment, the range and the frequency of monitoring. From the study concluded that the water level necessary to measure on land and channels using dipwell and staff gauges. Observations were made with a combination of automated recording device and manual recording. Both are quite accurate, but the use of automatic registers in remote locations saves time, and if an automatic device is installed in an area that has the potential to have large water level fluctuations and runs quickly, it will provide more accurate data. Observations on dams for water level control are installed at every 20 cm drop in hidraulic head.

Abstrak :
The objectives of this research are to develop a model of water table fluctuation on tidal lowland area of A/B type. The results of the research are expected to support of the agricultural development on tidal lowland area, especially on water management, because the water management play an important role in the agricultural on tidal lowland area. The water table on tidal lowland area fluctuates according to space and time. The water table controls at a certain depth can support the plant growth and the pyrite oxidation restraint. The model of water table fluctuation which is developed in this research based on the ellipse concept. The research was conducted on the reclamation area of tidal lowland at the fourth tertiary block in P8-12S Delta Telang I, Banyuasin district, South Sumatra province. The simulations of model show good result of estimating the depth of water table on tidal lowland area of A/B type. The Proportion of variation the depth of water table hich can be explained by model that is 89.6% up to 95.5% with standard error of the estimate is 0,021-0,035 meters. The parameter of the water level in the tertiary canals has high sensitivity to the model.

Di Universitas Indonesia belum pernah di lakukan penelitian spesifik mengenai water table dan zona akuifer, dan penelitian ini akan membahas tentang keberadaan lapisan water table dan akuifer menggunakan metode geolistrik konfigurasi Wenner di Lapangan Rotunda, Universitas Indonesia, Depok, Jawa Barat, Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengukuran menggunakan 3 lintasan, setiap lintasan memiliki panjang 95 meter dengan posisi lintasan sejajar. Pengolahan data dan inversi 2D menggunakan software Res2Dinv, dan interpretasi 3D menggunakan RockWork. Penelitian ini dikontrol menggunakan data uji lab nilai resistivitas tanah dan data geologi dari GeoMap (ESDM). Hasil dari penelitian ini mencitrakan kondisi lapisan bawah permukaan seperti zona water table dan keberadaan akuifer di lokasi penelitian. Berdasarkan model struktur lapisan tanah di bawah permukaan, diperoleh zona water table dengan nilai resistivitas sebesar 42.6-68.7 ohm meter berada pada kedalaman 12 meter. Ketebalan akuifer belum dapat di identifikasi dengan baik karena penetrasi konfigurasi yang digunakan masih terlalu dangkal. ......At the University of Indonesia, there has never been a specific research on water tables and aquifer zones, and this study will discuss the existence of water table layers and aquifers using the Wenner configuration geoelectric method in the Rotunda Field, University of Indonesia, Depok, West Java, In this study, measurements were carried out using 3 passes, each track has a length of 95 meters with the position of the track parallel. 2D data processing and inversion using Res2Dinv software, and 3D interpretation using RockWork. This study was controlled using lab test data of soil resistivity values and geological data from GeoMap (ESDM). The results of this study image the condition of subsurface layers such as water table zones and the presence of aquifers at the study site. Based on the subsurface soil structure model, a water table zone with a resistivity value of 42.6-68.7 ohm meters was obtained at a depth of 12 meters. The thickness of the aquifer has not been identified properly because the penetration of the configuration used is still too shallow.

Di Universitas Indonesia, khususnya di area barat laut Rektorat Universitas Indone- sia masih sedikit dilakukan penelitian yang mendalam mengenai water table dan zona akuifer. Penelitian ini akan membahas mengenai keberadaan zona water table dan zona akuifer dengan menggunakan metode geolistrik resistivitas kon gurasi dipole-dipole. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan 3 lintasan, dengan panjang lintasan masing-masing 88 meter dengan posisi lintasan sejajar, penelitian ini menghasilkan data penampang 2D dan penampang 3D dari daerah penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini menghasilkan visualisasi lapisan bawah permukaan berupa kondisi seperti zona water table dan keberadaan zona akuifer di lokasi penelitian. Berdasarkan model struktur tanah bawah permukaan, didapatkan bahwa zona water table dengan nilai resistivitas 9-78,9 ohm meter terletak pada kedalaman 3,8 meter. ......At the University of Indonesia, especially in the northwest area of the University of Indonesia Rectorate, little in-depth research has been done on the water table and the aquifer zone. This research will discuss the existence of water table and aquifer zones using the Geoelectric method with dipole-dipole con guration. This research will be conducted using 3 tracks, with a track length of 88 meters each with parallel track positions, this research produces 2D cross-sectional data and 3D cross-sections of the research area. The results of this study produce visualization of the subsurface layer in the form of conditions such as the water table zone and the presence of aquifer zones in the research location. Based on the subsurface soil structure model, it is found that the zone of water table zone with a resistivity value of 9 - 78.9 ohm meters is located at a depth of 3.8 meters.

ABSTRAK
Isu terbesar di abad ini adalah tentang berubahan iklim dan pemanasan global. Efek dari perubahan iklim adalah perubahan dari musim yang biasanya menjadi tidak terprediksi dengan baik di dunia, diamana bias terjadi kondisi ekstrim seperti hujan yang sangat lebat maupun kekeringan yang panjang, kondisi ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap muka air tanah. Untuk mendapatkan dan mngetahui secara baik fase secara fisika dari nilai kohesi dari tanah dan kestabilan terhadap lereng akibat dari infiltrasi air dan naiknya muka air tanah maka dibuatlah model untuk mendapatkan nilai kemanan berdasarkan variasi nilai kohesi dan kemiringan menggunakan model numeric Flac 3D. Dan hasil digambarkan dalam fariasi angka keamaan berdasarkan total kohesi dan variasi kemiringan dalam kondisi tidak jenuh.
Abstract
Recently, one of the biggest challenges in this century is climate change and global warming. The climate change effect has changed that condition from the regular season to be unpredictable season on the word, where the more extreme conditions such as heavy rain falls and droughts. So To find out and well understanding the physical phases of value of cohesion of soil and slope stability due to water infiltration and rising water table we make the several models to fine FoS due to variation of cohesion and variation of inclination by using software Flac3d. And the result illustrated some of FoS in variation of total cohesion and variation of inclination angle for unsaturated condition.
