Abstrak :
Buku ini merupakan kumpulan biografi sastrawan terkenal Jerman Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Di dalam buku ini, biografi Goethe dibagi menjadi tiga bagian sesuai zamannya yang dapat memudahkan pembaca untuk menelaah perjalanan kehidupan Goethe sejak Goethe sekolah di Leipzig.

Abstrak :
The presented paper will outline the thoughts and life (briefly) of Savigny. Savigny that has been known as a folk jurist is an aristocrat who persistently opposed the idea of codification of German law based on Napoleonic code. For him, the Germany has its own law (it is the law of the people of Germany) that neither plainly compared by French law nor be measured up to Napoleonic Code. Savigny lived in the romantic epoch that was too cynical with rationalism. There was a tension between rationalism and romanticism. Therefore the notion of people's (folk) law would be weighed more by the romantic notion on people. This Paper is not aimed to give an evaluation toward the idea of Savigny, except providing a description on Savigny 's thoughts comprehensively by way of encyclopedic explanation. The short critical notes would be pat necessarily.

ABSTRACT
At the department of Biology - University of Indonesia, the use of a modified von Hemel procedure in slide processing often gives incomplete metaphases due to chromosome losses during the processing. This study is to know the percentage of the incomplete metaphases, to test if the chromosome loss is influenced by chromosome size, and how far all of these will give rise to a false diagnosis. The material is a harvest of fixated blood culture from five normal female patients (46,XX). Slides were prepared from the material and "R-band" stained. Then we analyzed and searched for 115 metaphases with only one chromosome loss that could be analyzed. The result shows that 64.19 % out of 1303 metaphases were incomplete, and 9.29 % or 121 metaphases with only one chromosome loss. It is found that each chromosome has different probability of loss which depends on the size of chromosome. The smaller the chromosome, the greater the chance of loss, but all of these do not lead to any false diagnosis.
