"Although basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is a common skin tumor, very rare cases of BCC arising from upper vermilion mucosa of lip have been reported previously. This tumor basically, originates from pillar structures and the involvement of the vermilion lip contrasts this concept so it is devoid of hair follicles and sweat glands. The exact pathogenesis of vermilion lip BCC is not clear but it has been postulated that the neoplasm originates from the pluripotential epithelial cells of the oral mucosa and epidermis. On the other hand, some authors consider their origin from ectopic sebaceous glands. Herein, we report a 34- year-old man with an asymptomatic ulcerated lesion on the upper left lip vermilion mucosa. The diagnosis of BCC was confirmed with histopathological examination after incisional biopsy of the mucosal neoplasm. After surgery of lip lesion, no recurrency was seen after 3 months follow-up the patient.

Meskipun karsinoma sel basal (KSB) merupakan tumor kulit yang umum dijumpai, tetapi kasus-kasus KSB yang berasal dari mukosa merah bibir di bibir atas sangat jarang dilaporkan sebelumnya. Tumor ini pada dasarnya berasal dari struktur jaringan pilar dan keterlibatan bagian merah bibir sangat bertentangan dengan konsep ini sehingga struktur tersebut kekurangan folikel rambut dan kelenjar keringat. Patogenesis terjadinya KSB pada bagian merah bibir yang tepat masih belum jelas, tetapi telah dipostulasikan bahwa neoplasma tersebut berasal dari sel-sel epitel pluripoten di mukosa mulut dan epidermis. Sebaliknya, beberapa penulis memperkirakan bahwa asalnya adalah kelenjar sebasea ektopik. Di sini, kami melaporkan seorang lelaki berusia 34 tahun dengan lesi ulkus asimptomatik pada bagian merah bibir di bibir atas kiri. Diagnosis KSB dipastikan dengan pemeriksaan histopatologik setelah biopsi insisi pada mukosa neoplasma dilakukan. Setelah dilakukan pembedahan lesi bibir tersebut, tidak ditemukan kekambuhan setelah pasien dievaluasi lanjut selama 3 bulan."

"Skripsi ini mengkaji tentang pembentukan body image anggota cover dance VERMILION yang mengidolakan SNSD. Melalui wawancara mendalam dan pengamatan saya berusaha mengetahui body image anggota VERMILION yang terbentuk berdasarkan pengetahuan mereka mengenai SNSD. Anggota VERMILION memanfaatkan media untuk mencari informasi tentang SNSD. Pengetahuan tentang SNSD mempengaruhi pandangan anggota VERMILION tentang body image, sehingga kriteria kecantikan mereka mengacu pada gambaran tubuh anggota SNSD. Anggota VERMILION melakukan perbandingan tubuhnya dengan tubuh SNSD, kemudian menyadari kenyataan bahwa bentuk tubuhnya berbeda dengan tubuh SNSD dan menyebabkan mereka mengalami body dissatisfaction. Berbekal pengetahuan yang diperoleh dari orang terdekat, artikel tentang kecantikan, dan film tentang kecantikan mereka melakukan perubahan bentuk tubuh. Anggota VERMILION juga melakukan peniruan penampilan idola ketika menjadi cover dance dan ketika tidak menjadi cover dance. Hal ini dilakukan untuk memperlihatkan bahwa mereka adalah cover dance dan fans dari SNSD.

This study examines the forming of body image of VERMILION cover dance members who love SNSD. In depth Interviews and observations were conducted to reveal the body image of VERMILION members which was formed based on their knowledge regarding SNSD. VERMILION members use media to search information regarding SNSD. The knowledge regarding SNSD affects VERMILION members rsquo s point of view regarding body image. As the result, the beauty criteria of VERMILION members refer to SNSD members rsquo s body image. VERMILION members compare their body with SNSD members rsquo s body. They found the fact that their shape of body is different from SNSD members rsquo s body which causes body dissatisfaction. The knowledge which is gained from relatives, beauty articles, films regarding beauty becomes a base in forming body image. VERMILION members also imitate their idol rsquo s appearance whether they become a cover dance or not. This matter is conducted to show that they are the cover dance and fans of SNSD."
