Up until a few years ago there were over 150 different modelling languages available to software developers. This vast array of choice however, only served to severely hinder effective communication. Therefore, to combat this, every methodologist and many companies agreed to speak the same language, hence the birth of the unified modelling language (UML). The UML offers a means to communicate complex information in a simple way using visual modelling; i.e. drawing diagrams to create a model of a system. This fully revised edition, based on a training course given by the author, coincides with the release of UML version 2 by the standard body, the Object Management Group, and covers the significant changes that have occurred since its release. It also includes material on life cycle management, examining the way the UML can be used to control and manage projects and the UML systems engineering profile.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis proses warranty dan mencari solusi atas banyaknya klaim warranty yang penyelesaian klaimnya lebih dari lima hari di jaringan diler PT. XYZ dan memberikan usulan perbaikan atas prosedur warranty. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kelemahan dalam proses warranty di diler PT. XYZ terutama pada pengelolaan kontrol internal di masing-masing diler tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyarankan perbaikan standar operasi baku atas proses warranty di diler yaitu dari proses membuat klaim warranty, proses klaim dan pengiriman warranty sampai dengan menerima jawaban klaim warranty. ......The purpose of this study is to analyze the process of warranty and to find the solutions of why there are so many claims of warranty that settled more than five days in the dealer network of PT. XYZ and to provide the proposal of improvements over warranty procedures. This research uses qualitative method with case study approach. In this research presents the facts on the warranty process in the dealer network of PT. XYZ from the process of creating warranty claims, claims and delivered warranty claim process until the receiving of warranty claims. The result of the research shows the weakness in the warranty process in the dealer of PT. XYZ mainly on the management of internal controls in each dealers. The results of this study suggest the improvement of standard operating procedures on the warranty process in the dealership of the process of making warranty claims, claims process and warranty delivery until receive warranty claim answers.

Analisis dan perancangan sistem informasi manajemen kediklatan dilakukan di Pusdiklat Anti Pencucian Uang dan Pencegahan Pendanaan Terorisme (APUPPT) PPATK bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis dan memberikan rancangan sistem manajemen kediklatan di Pusdiklat APUPPT dengan desain berbasis pengguna serta melakukan proses pengujian oleh pengguna. Di awal penelitian dilakukan studi literatur dan wawancara sehingga ditemukan beberapa akar permasalahan yang menyebabkan pengelolaan pusdiklat belum tercapai. Setelah itu dilakukan analisis terhadap akar permasalahan yang ditemukan yaitu belum tercapainya target indeks pengelolaan manajemen yaitu dari target 3.10 hanya mendapat 2.60. Melalui metode tinjauan literatur PRISMA didapatkan lima penelitian sejenis dan mendukung penelitian ini. Dari kelima penelitian tersebut didapatkan sintesa bahwa penggunaan user centered design (UCD) dalam pengembangan sistem/aplikasi sangat memengaruhi hasil penerimaan pengguna yaitu tingkat penerimaan yang tinggi. Penelitian memiliki fokus untuk menganalisis dan merancang sistem informasi yang mendukung pengelolaan manajemen kediklatan dengan desain berbasis pengguna menggunakan mix method dengan pendekatan exploratory. Oleh karena itu penulis mengintegrasikan metode pengembangan sistem software development life cycle (SLDC) dan UCD. Dalam tahapan desain menggunakan unified modelling language (UML) untuk memodelkan sistem sehingga diharapkan prototipe sistem yang dihasilkan dapat meningkatkan tingkat penerimaan pengguna yang tinggi. Setelah terbentuk prototipe yang siap pakai oleh pengguna (high fidelity prototype) dilakukan black box testing dan pengujian kebergunaan (usability testing) dengan menggunakan use questionnaire. Hasil usability testing mendapatkan hasil 2576,84% yang dibagi dengan tiga puluh pertanyaan sehingga menjadi 85,89%. Angka 85,89% masuk ke dalam kategori sangat layak, sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa sistem informasi ini sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna dan masuk kategori sangat layak digunakan. Sedangkan untuk indeks diperoleh hasil sebesar 4.29 sudah melebihi target tahun 2021 yaitu 3.10, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa melalui penelitian ini Pusdiklat mampu memenuhi target tahun 2021 yaitu sebesar 3.10. ......Analysis and design of the education management information system was carried out at the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (APUPPT) PPATK Education and Training Center with the aim of analyzing and providing a design for the education and training management system at the APUPPT Pusdiklat with a user centered design and conducting a user-based testing process. At the beginning of the research, a literature review and interviews were carried out, so it was found that some root causes had caused the management of the Pusdiklat not yet achieved. After that, an analysis of the root causes is carried out so that the root causes of the most priority problems can be identified, it was found that the management index target had not been achieved, namely from the target of 3.10 it only got 2.60. Through the PRISMA literature review method, five similar researches have been obtained. From the five researches, it is found that the use of user centered design (UCD) in system/application development greatly affects the results of user acceptance, this is a high level of acceptance. This research has a focus on analyzing and designing information systems that support the management of education and training APUPPT with a user centered design using mixed methods with an exploratory approach. Therefore, researchers integrate the software development life cycle (SLDC) and user centered design (UCD) systems development methods. In the design stage will use the unified modeling language (UML) to model the system so hopefully can make a system prototype that increase the high level of user acceptance. After high fidelity prototype is formed, a black box testing and usability testing will be carried out using a use questionnaire. The results of usability testing is 2576.84% which is divided by thirty questions so that it becomes 85.89%. This number 85.89% falls into the very feasible category, so it can be seen that this information system is in accordance with user needs and is categorized as very feasible to use. As for the index of 4.29, it has exceeded the 2021 target of 3.10, so it can be said that through this research the Education and Training Center is able to meet the 2021 target of 3.10.
