"Tulisan ini membahas teks naskah Nadzam Ri`ayatul Himmah (selanjutnya disebut NRH), salah satu naskah Islam-Jawa produk sastra pesantren yang tersimpan di Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia. Naskah yang berkode KBG 485 ini tercatat dalam Katalog Induk Naskah-naskah Nusantara jilid 4 Perpustakaan Republik Indonesia (1997). Sebagai naskah Islam-Jawa, teksnya ditulis dengan aksara Pegon, berbentuk nadzam, dan berbahasa Jawa. Dalam Katalog Induk Naskah-naskah Nusantara jilid 4 Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia informasi mengenai pencipta dan isi naskah NRH  tidak dinyatakan. Berdasarkan hal ini timbul pertanyaan, siapakah pencipta teks NRH  dan apa kandungan isinya? Untuk menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan ini teks NRH KBG 485 dikaji dengan metode penelitian filologi. Tujuannya untuk mengungkapkan siapa pengarang naskah Nadzam Ri`ayatul Himmah dan menjelaskan kandungan isi teksnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa pengarang teks naskah NRH adalah Ahmad Rifa`i dan isi teksnya tentang ajaran yang terdiri atas 3 unsur, yaitu Ushul, Fiqih, dan Tasawuf. Penelitian ini memberi sumbangan pengetahuan pada khazanah kesustraan Jawa khususnya sastra pesantren  yang mengungkapkan ajaran-ajaran Islam dengan cara yang estetis dan etik.

This paper discusses the text of the manuscript Nadzam Ri`ayatul Himmah (hereinafter referred to as NRH), one of the Javanese-Islamic texts of Islamic boarding school literature stored in the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia. The manuscripts coded in KBG 485 are recorded in the Master Catalog of Archipelago Manuscripts volume 4 of the Republic of Indonesia Library (1997). As a Javanese-Islamic script, the text is written in Pegon script, in the form of nadzam, and in Javanese. In the Master Catalog of Archipelago Manuscripts volume 4 of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia information about the creator and the contents of the NRH manuscript was not stated. Based on this the question arises, who is the creator of the NRH text and what does it contain? To answer these questions the text of the NRH KBG 485 was assessed using a philological research method. The aim is to reveal who the author of the text Nadzam Ri'ayatul Himmah is and explain the contents of the text. The results of this study can be seen that the author of the NRH text is Ahmad Rifa'i and the contents of the text are about teachings which consist of 3 elements, namely Usul, Fiqh, and Sufism. This research contributes knowledge to Javanese literature, especially pesantren literature that expresses Islamic teachings in aesthetic and ethical ways."
