"Teknologi Light Emitting Diode (LED) telah merevolusi pencahayaan dengan efisiensi energi yang tinggi dan umur panjang, tetapi permasalahan operasional sering menyebabkan lampu LED dibuang meskipun kerusakannya hanya terjadi pada beberapa komponen. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena limbah lampu LED dapat dimanfaatkan kembali, sehingga mengurangi pencemaran limbah elektronik dan mendukung keberlanjutan. Metode yang dilakukan meliputi studi literatur, pengumpulan dan analisis sampel lampu LED bekas dari berbagai merek, identifikasi pola kerusakan seperti matinya chip LED, serta desain dan simulasi rangkaian konversi AC ke DC. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerusakan utama pada lampu LED disebabkan oleh chip LED mati yang dapat diperbaiki dengan metode substitusi, serta konversi dari AC ke DC dapat dilakukan dengan menambahkan rangkaian pendukung, memberikan solusi untuk memanfaatkan limbah LED secara efektif.
Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology has revolutionized lighting with high energy efficiency and longevity, but operational problems often cause LED lights to be discarded even if the damage only occurs to a few components. This research was conducted because LED lamp waste can be reused, thereby reducing electronic waste pollution and supporting sustainability. The methods carried out include literature studies, collection and analysis of used LED lamp samples from various brands, identification of damage patterns such as the death of LED chips, and design and simulation of AC to DC conversion circuits. The results show that the main damage to LED lights is caused by dead LED chips which can be repaired by substitution methods, as well as the conversion from AC to DC can be done by adding a supporting circuit, providing a solution to effectively utilize LED waste. "
