"ABSTRAKJurnal ini membahas novel Bunga Roos Dari Cikembang karya Kwee Tek Hoay yang mengisahkan jalan hidup seorang keturunan Tionghoa, Ay Tjeng. Kehidupan Ay Tjeng selalu bersinggungan dengan para perempuan yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan budaya pernyaian; Martini, Gwat Nio, dan Roosminah. Para perempuan ini tidak digambarkan sebagai objek yang memiliki derajat lebih rendah, melainkan digambarkan bersifat baik, berbudi pekerti dan pandai. Penulis ingin mengungkap adanya pergeseran citra perempuan sebagai nyai melalui ketiga tokoh perempuan tersebut serta memperlihatkan gambaran budaya pernyaian pada zaman kolonial, khususnya di Jawa Barat, yang terlukis dalam cerpen Bunga Roos Dari Cikembang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif analitis serta pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Pendekatan sosiologi sastra digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan novel Bunga Roos Dari Cikembang dengan konteks dunia nyata. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat pergeseran citraan perempuan sebagai nyai dan juga keturunannya dalam novel ini, berbeda dengan novel-novel Melayu Tionghoa sejenis yang mengandung unsur pernyaian.

ABSTRACTThis study discusses the novel Bunga Roos Dari Cikembang by Kwee Tek Hoay which tells the life of Chinese descent, Ay Tjeng. Ay Tjeng rsquo s life are always in contact with women who have cultural links with a nyai Martini, Gwat Nio, and Roosminah. These women are not portrayed as objects that have a lesser degree, but portrayed as a decent woman, well mannered and also smart. The author would like to reveal a shift in the image of women as a nyai and their offspring through the three female figures and showed a picture of a concubinage in colonial times, especially in West Java, which is illustrated in this story. This research was conducted with descriptive analytical method and approach of sociology of literature. Literary sociological approach is used to determine the relationship of the novel Bunga Roos Dari Cikembang with real world context. The research proves that there is a shift of images of women as a nyai and their offspring in this novel, in contrast to the other Malay Chinese novels with a similar content."

"Skripsi ini membahas citra perempuan yang ditampilkan oleh majalah Islam Rusia, Musul'manka edisi 1 dan 2 Tahun 2009. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis yang menitik fokuskan pada wacana dan pendapat yang tertera didalam majalah. Penelitian juga menggunakan tiga teori: teori transisi demokrasi Anderson, teori wacana Foucault, dan teori gender dari Aan Oakley, Nira Yuval Davis, Robert Connell, konsep patriarki Judith Bennet dan John Tosh. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa gaya berjilbab Muslim Rusia dalam majalah Musul'manka adalah yang sesuai dengan aturan Islam, bukan seperti busana Muslim Arab yang mencakup wajah serta telapak tangan maupun Muslim Asia yang terlihat lebih meriah.

This thesis discusses image of women that is figured out from a Russian Islamic magazine, Musul'manka on 1st and 2nd edition of 2009. This research uses descriptive analysis method that focuses on discourses and opinions contained in the magazine. Research also use three theories: theory of democracy transition by Anderson, theory of discourse by Foucault, and theory of gender by Aan Oakley, Nira Yuval Davis, Robert Connell, concept of patriarchy by Judith Bennett and John Tosh.

Result of this research proves that Russia muslim's hijab style in Musul'manka magazine accordance the rules of Islam, rather than the Arab muslim's clothes that also cover the face and palms of hands or Asia muslim's who looks more festive."

"Skripsi ini membahas pencitraan wanita pada lima cerkak dalam antologi cerkak Lelakone Si lan Man karya Suparto Brata. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bgaimana pengarang membangun citra wanita dalam lima cerkak tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori pencitraan Rene Wellek dan pembagian aspek-aspek pencitraan wanita secara fisik, psikologis, dan sosial oleh Sugihastuti. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan tipe-tipe ideal wanita dari sudut pandang laki-laki minimal menurut pengarangnya dan penggambaran citra wanita tersebut mencerminkan ekspresi individual Suparto Brata sebagai pengarang sastra Jawa modern.

This research present the image of women in five short stories on the anthology entitled Lelakone Si Lan Man by Suparto Brata. The aim of this research is to explain how the author build the image of women in those five short stories. This research use descriptive-analitical method. The theory which is used is the theory of image by Rene Wellek and the dividing of its aspect are physical aspect, psychology aspect, and social aspect by Sugihastuti. The result of this research find the ideal type of women which is seen from the point of view of men, at least from the author and the description of the image of women reflect the individual expression of Suparto Brata as the man of modern Javanese letter."

"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas mengenai gambaran perempuan dalam keluarga di Hindia Belanda dalam novel Siti Kartini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analisis. Dari penelitian ditemukan penggambaran perempuan ketika menghadapi persoalan di dalam keluarga seperti putusnya hubungan pertunangan, perkawinan paksa, serta realitas sosial di dalam novel Siti Kartini yang tercermin di masyarakat yaitu perempuan bekerja di luar rumah dan hubungan percintaan antarras dan suku bangsa.

ABSTRACTThis thesis discusses the description of women in families in the Dutch East Indies in the novel Siti Kartini. The research method used is descriptive analysis. From the research found the depiction of women when faced with problems in the family such as the breaking of engagement relationship, forced marriage, and social reality in novel Siti Kartini which is reflected in the society of women working outdoors and relationships romance between racial and ethnic."

"Skripsi ini meneliti konsep citra perempuan dari sudut pandang laki-laki yang dikonstruksikan oleh tiga pengarang laki-laki masa Romantik berdasarkan mitos tentang perempuan yang dipercayai oleh masyarakat Jerman. Fokus penelitian ini adalah tokoh utama perempuan dalam tiga puisi mengenai mitos Lorelei, yaitu Lore Lay karya Clemens Brentano, Der Lurleyfels karya Otto Heinrich Graf von Loeben, dan Lorelei karya Heinrich Heine. Pencitraan perempuan ini dibagi menjadi tiga sudut pandang yaitu perempuan dari sudut pandang laki-laki, mitos femme fatale dan perempuan mistis, dan yang ketiga yaitu perempuan dari sudut pandang religiositas masyarakat masa Romantik.

This Thesis analyses the concept image of woman from male perspective constructed by three male authors on the Romantic Period. This concept is based on Myth of woman in German society. The focus of this research is the main character of women from the mythical Lorelei, Lore Lay by Clemens Brentano, Der Lurleyfels by Otto Heinrich Graf von Loeben, and Lorelei by Heinrich Heine. Images of Lorelei are divided into three point of views. Firstly, woman's image based on male gaze, woman as a femme fatale myth and the mythical female, then women on the public religiosity's standpoint in Romantic period."
