Abstrak :
Skrpisi ini membahas tentang penilaian staf Puskesmas terhadap tampilan gaya kepemimpinan kepala Puskesmas. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah hubungan antara 3 faktor berpengaruh yaitu predisposing, lingkungan dan densitas terhadap gaya kepemimpinan yang ditunjukkan oleh kepala Puskesmas, dan juga menilai tentang fungsi kepemimpinan kepala Puskesmas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kota Cirebon pada bulan April dan Mei 2009 di 10 Puskesmas terpilih. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Hasil penelitian didapatkan tidak ada perbedaan yang bermakna antara ketiga faktor berpengaruh terhadap gaya kepemimpinan kepala Puskesmas dengan nilai P value lebih dari 0,05. Pada fungsi kepemimpinan didapatkan ada hubungan yang bermakna antara aspek komunikasi, delegasi wewenang, koordinasi dan motivasi terhadap gaya kepemimpinan kepala Puskesmas dengan nilai P value kurang dari 0,05.

This essay discusses the assessment of community health center staff to display the leadership style of the community health center. Aims to find out what the relationship between the 3 factors predisposing effect, the environment and the density of the style of leadership shown by the community health center, and also assess the function of the central leadership of public health. This research was conducted in the city of Cirebon in April and May 2009 in the 10 selected community health center. This is the type of quantitative research with cross sectional design. Results of research found no meaningful difference between the three factors affect the leadership style of the community health center with the highest P value over 0.05. On the function of leadership have established a meaningful relationship between aspects of communication, authority delegation, coordination and motivation of the leadership style of the community health center with the highest P value less than 0.05.

Tesis ini membahas tentang Kajian Gaya Kepemimpinan Direktur Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) terhadap Fungsi Kepemimpinan Direktur dalam Pelaksanaan Manajemen RSUD di DKI Jakarta Tahun 2010. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif konfirmasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan dominan yang dinilai pada direktur RSUD di DKI Jakarta adalah gaya kepemimpinan supporting dengan tingkat fleksibilitas sangat fleksibel dan tingkat keefektifan sedang. Untuk fungsi kepemimpinan didapatkan fungsi kepemimpinan direktur RSUD lebih banyak dinilai baik. Dari hasil analisis bivariat didapat hubungan yang bermakna antara gaya kepemimpinan dan fleksibilitas kepemimpinan juga karakteristik individu direktur berdasarkan lama kerja menjadi direktur yang dinilai dan jenis pelatihan yang pernah diikuti terhadap fungsi kepemimpinan. Dan dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi gambaran bagi direktur RSUD di DKI Jakarta, Dinas Kesehatan DKI Jakarta dan Institusi Penyelenggara Pendidikan Administrasi Rumah Sakit dalam mengembangkan peran kepemimpinan untuk keperluan kebijakan instansi masing-masing. ......This thesis discusses the Analysis of Leadership Style of Local Province Hospital Director to the Function of Director Leadership in the Implementation of Local Province Hospital Management in the Capital City of Jakarta in year 2010. This research was Quantitative Descriptive Analysis and Qualitative Confirmation Method with the cross sectional approach. The result of the research show that dominant leadership style from local province hospitals directors in Jakarta is a supporting leadership style with high level of flexibility and middle level of effectiveness. For the result of leadership function show that most leadership function of local province hospitals directors are good. From the result of bivariate analysis show a meaningful association between leadership style and leadership flexibility as well as individual characteristic of the director based on his/her working period as a director and from its professional education/training that his/her has taken. And from the result of this research is hopefully be able to become a working portray for local province hospitals directors, Health official in Jakarta and for educational institute of hospital administration in developing leadership function for the needs and benefits of its own institution.
