Abstrak :
Skripsi ini merupakan kajian sastra yang menganalisis ayat-ayat Perjanjian Baru dalam Arxipelag Gulag karya Aleksandr Isaevic Solzenicyn. Peneliti berpendapat bahwa ayat-ayat tersebut adalah metafora dengan gaya perlambangan tersendiri. Melalui teori hermeneutika Hans-Georg Gadamer, peneliti melakukan interpretasi menyeluruh dalam kaitannya dengan teks. Peneliti melakukan penelusuran makna barn terhadap ayat-ayat Perjanjian Baru dalam Arxipelag Gulag dengan mengaitkannya pada lingkup historis cakrawala pemahaman teks dan penafsir. Latar negara Uni Soviet dengan komunisme dan sistem represinya merupakan lingkup historis yang menjadi tinjauan peneliti. Dengan berdasar kepada tradisi pemaknaan_debgan otoritasnya_sebagai titik pijak penafsiran, maka peneliti merekonstruksi makna ayat-ayat Perjanjian Baru tersebut dengan prasangka yang hadir melalui cakrawala historis pemahaman. Peleburan cakrawala yang terjadi memberikan suatu persepsi bare terhadap metafora-metafora tersebut, yang digunakan sebagai alat untuk mengkritik rezim komunis.

This minor thesis is literary studies that analyze the clauses of the New Testament in Arxipelag Gulag by Aleksandr lsaevic Sol2enicyn. It is argued that these clauses are metaphor with their own symbols. Using Hans-Georg Gadamer's hermeneutical theories, the researcher tries to do a comprehensive interpretation in the relation with the text. The researcher investigates the new meaning of the clauses of the New Testament in Arxipelag Gulag by connecting it with the historically situation from the horizon of understanding between the text and the interpreter. Communism and the repression system as the background of USSR, are the historically situation that b.comes the inquiry of the researcher. Based on the tradition of interpretation_with authority_as a starting point in interpreting, the researcher reconstruct the meaning from the New Testament's clauses with prejudice that comes from the historical horizon of understanding. The fusion of horizons has given the metaphors a new perception, used as a tool to criticize the communist regime.
