The book is a collection of invited papers on Computational Intelligence for Privacy and Security. Perkembangan teknologi yang meliputi semua aspek kehidupan sekarang ini memiliki peranan yang vital dimasyarakat. Akses informasi dapat dipenuhi dengan kehadiran teknologi komputer dibidang informasi yang disebut sebagai internet. Perkembangan dunia usaha penyediaan jasa internet tidak lepas dari kebutuhan masyarakat untuk mendapatkan informasi terkini lebih cepat dan bisa dilakukan dimana saja. Warnet menjadi satu dari sekian banyak cara dan tujuan dalam mengakses informasi dari waktu ke waktu, sehingga persaingan untuk mendapatkan pelanggan menjadi suatu tantangan bagi para pengelolanya. Fasilitas yang mementingkan aspek kenyamanan dan kepuasan dari pelanggan menjadi kriteria utama yang harus dimiliki warnet. Ketidak-seimbangan antara upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengamankan dengan upaya yang dilakukan untuk memberikan fasilitas menjadi faktor X atas masalah kejahatan yang menimpa usaha warnet. Penggunaan teori Strategi Pencegahan Kejahatan dari Ronald V Clarke dengan teknik pengurangan kesempatan diharapkan dapat menganalisa kekurangan apa saja yang terdapat didalam upaya pengamanan terhadap ancaman kejahatan yang telah dilakukan, dan terdapat beberapa saran yang lebih bertujuan untuk memperbaiki atau menambahkan nilai dari pengamanan terhadap usaha.

The technology development which include all aspect of life nowadays having more vital role in the society. Information access fulfilled with the present of computer technology in the field of information called the Internet. The development of internet café business also connected to the needs of getting the latest information and could be done anywhere. Internet café becoming one of many ways to access information from time to time, a condition that create competition in having more customer and becoming challenges to it?s owner. The facility that fulfill the needs of comfort and privacy is one of the criteria that an internet café must have. The imbalance between what must be done to secure with the efforts to give more facility is becoming the X factor of criminal problems that occurs in the internet cafe business. The use of Situational Crime Prevention by Ronald V Clarke with his opportunity reducing techniques, to be expected could analyze what has not been done in the terms of security efforts to overcome criminal event, and also included suggestion to improve or adding more value to secure the business.

Research on Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) investigates how information and communication technologies can be designed in order to support pedagogical activities. The workshop proceedings collects contributions concerning evidence based TEL systems, like their design following EBD principles as well as studies or best practices that educators, education stakeholders or psychologists used to diagnose or improve their students' learning skills, including students with specific difficulties. The international ebTEL?12 workshop wants to be a forum in which TEL researchers and practitioners alike can discuss ideas, projects, and lessons related to ebTEL. The workshop takes place in Salamanca, Spain, on March 28th-30th 2012.
