Kurangnya lapangan pekerjaan tidak diimbangi dengan naiknya angkatan kerja yang tinggi telah menimbulkan banyak masalah sosial. Hal ini menyebabkan para pencari kerja juga mengalami peningkatan seiring dengan meningkatnya angkatan kerja. Hal ini bagi sebagian orang, kelompok, atau perusahaan dimanfaatkan untuk keuntungan semata. Penipuan berkedok lowongan pekerjaan adalah salah satu bentuk penipuan yang mengincar para pencari kerja. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe deskriptif. Sedangkan untuk menjelaskan bentuk modus operandi penipuan berkedok lowongan pekerjaan peneliti menggunakan konsep modus operandi. Hasilnya menunjukan bahwa modus operandi berkedok lowongan pekerjaan ini melakukan praktek kebohongan dan pemalsuan terhadap para pelamar kerja. Dan terdapat proses pembelajaran modus operandi oleh para pelaku penipuan.
The lack of employment, in addition to the rising number of labor force, has caused numerous social issues. This problem has caused a rise in the number of job seekers, in align with the increasing amount of labor force. This situation has been manipulated by some people, groups, or companies for their own purposes. Scams under the guise of job recruitments is one of the frauds that targets job seekers. In this research, the researcher uses a descriptive qualitative approach; whereas the modus operandi concept is used to explain the modus operandi of scams under the guise of job recruitments. The result shows that the modus operandi of scams disguising as job vacancies is operated under the practice of dishonesty and forgery to the job applicants.
