"Tradisi sifon dilakukan saat Iuka sunat belum benar-benar sembuh, dan rentan terhadap pcnularan PMS termasuk HIV/AIDS. Tradisi ini mulai berkembang di Kota Kupang dan diiakukan oleh pemuda-pemuda suku lain diluar suku Atoin-Melo. Untuk itu perlu diketahui apa yang mendorong pelaku sunat untuk melakukan swan dan bagaimana persepsi terhadap penularan PMS. Penelitian dilakukan di Kota Kupang dengan menggunakan pcndekaian kualitatif dengan disain RAP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi terhadap kcrentanan penularan PMS masih kurang dan motivasi untuk kejantanan, kebersihan, dan kcsehatan merupakan ii-:ktor yang mcndorong informan melalcukan sunat tmdisional syfon. Penelitian ini menyarankan untuk dilakukan kegiatan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang bahaya penularan PMS dan perlunya melakukan sunat yang sehat.

Sifon tradition was done when the post circumcision injm'y not yet healed thus it was very susceptible of sexual transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS. The tradition staned to develop in Kupang and done by male youth who were not Atoin-Metto tribe. Thus it was necessary to find out what the reinforcing factors of doing sifon and how is the perception of STD infection. This quantitative research was done in Kupang with RAP design. The result showed tha there was still lack of perceived susceptibility of STD. Issues of masculinity, cleanliness and health were become reinforcing factors toward informants in doing sifon traditional circumcision."

"Diarrhea poses significant health risks in developing countries like Indonesia, especially among children, contributing to high morbidity and mortality rates according to the 2018 World Health Organization report. The escalating antimicrobial resistance among enteric pathogens in these nations is also a critical concern. The aim of this research is to profile Gram-negative bacteria in pediatric patients with diarrheal conditions and analyze the antibacterial gene resistance of Gram-negative bacteria in these patients. Stool samples were cultured and sent to the FKUI Microbiology Laboratory for DNA isolation. Pathogenic Gram-negative bacteria were identified and sequenced at the Bioinformatics Core Facilities at IMERI-FKUI using Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS). Antibiotic resistance to antibiotics such as cefixime, co-trimoxazole, ciprofloxacin, and carbapenem was determined. Eighteen bacterial samples revealed a diverse landscape of Klebsiella pneumoniae and E. coli strains. Klebsiella pneumoniae predominated (56%), with various Sequence Types (STs) and phylotypes identified. Notably, ST-231 and ST-101 were associated with the K1 phylotype, indicating potential virulence. E. coli (44% of samples) showed a spectrum of pathogenicity, including ExPEC as the most prevalent. Virulence gene analysis highlighted complex pathogenic mechanisms and significant antibiotic resistance, especially in E. coli. K. pneumoniae and E. coli isolates showed high resistance to multiple antibiotics, including fluoroquinolones, fosfomycin, aminoglycosides, and beta-lactams. This research enhances the understanding of gastrointestinal health in children and underscores the urgent need for effective antimicrobial stewardship to combat antimicrobial resistance."

"Telah dilakukan sintesis bahan superkonduktor doping elektron Eu2-xCexCuO4+α-δ (ECCO) dengan metode reaksi padatan. Variasi dari doping Cerium ke dalam senyawa induk Eu2CuO4 serta variasi nilai δ, akan merubah nilai parameter kisi, resistivitas, dan suseptibilitas. Dari karakterisasi XRD, nilai parameter kisi pada sumbu c akan berkurang dengan meningkatnya konten Cerium. Pada sumbu a, parameter kisi bernilai maksimum pada x = 0.15. Dari uji resistivitas dan suseptibilitas, sifat superkonduktor dengan Tc ~ 13 K ditemukan pada bahan x = 0.15 dengan δ = 0.09. Namun demikian, sifat superkonduktivitas sampel dengan x = 0.11 dan x = 0.19 tidak terlihat.

Electron doped Superconductor Eu2-xCexCuO4+α-δ (ECCO) has been syntesized using sp;od state reaction method. Variation of Cerium doping into mother compound Eu2CuO4 and the value of δ, will change the value of lattice parameter, resistivity, and susceptibility. From XRD characterization, the value of lattice parameter in c axis decreases with increasing Cerium content. In a axis, the lattice parameter has been found to be maximum in x = 0.15. From resistivity and susceptibility measurements, it is found that superconducting properties with Tc ~ 13 K are observed at x = 0.15 with δ = 0.09. However, in the sample with x = 0.11 and x = 0.19, superconducting properties are not observed."

"Keberagaman spesies jamur yang dapat menyebabkan infeksi, serta resistensinya terhadap pengobatan antijamur, bervariasi tergantung terhadap wilayah dan factor lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sebaran spesies dan kerentanan antijamur isolat jamur di Jakarta, Indonesia, untuk membantu membuat diagnosa dan tatalaksana yang personal terhadap pasien. Metode: Penelitian analitik retrospektif ini memanfaatkan data yang dikumpulkan selama periode tertentu. Spesimen jaringan pasien di Jakarta, Indonesia, diperiksa melalui mikroskop langsung dengan metode KOH dan kultur. Uji kerentanan dilakukan terhadap berbagai obat antijamur. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil: Rata-rata usia pasien yang diduga (n= 289) dan terindikasi (n= 130) menderita infeksi jamur adalah masing-masing 39,23 dan 41,09 tahun. Lebih dari setengah jamur tidak terdeteksi pada pemeriksaan KOH, juga tidak tumbuh pada kultur (55%, n=159/289). Sebagian besar spesimen jaringan berasal dari sistem pernapasan (48.8%, n=141), khususnya sinus (21.1%, n= 61). Dari spesies jamur yang terisolasi, Candida muncul sebagai spesies yang paling menonjol (57/119), diikuti oleh Aspergillus (29/119) dan Mucorales (13/119). Pengujian kerentanan kami menunjukkan bahwa Candida menunjukkan pola kerentanan yang sebagian besar konsisten dengan penelitian yang dilakukan di Semarang dan Jakarta (72-100% sensitive); namun, jika dibandingkan dengan data dari berbagai negara lain, pola kerentanannya berbeda. Sebagian besar isolat Aspergillus sensitive (81-100%) terhadap antijamur umum. Namun demikian, profil kerentanannya bergantung pada variabilitas lokal. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini memberikan data terkini mengenai distribusi spesies dan kerentanan antijamur dari isolat jamur di Jakarta, Indonesia. Studi ini beharap bisa membantu diagnosis dan strategi pengobatan yang ter-personalisasi terhadap masing- masing pasien infeksi jamur.

Background: The diversity of fungal species that can cause infections, along with their resistance to antifungal treatments varies depending on region and other factors. This study aims to investigate species distribution and susceptibility profile of fungals in Jakarta, Indonesia, to provide epidemiological data to develop tailored diagnosis and treatment. Methods: This retrospective analytic study utilized data collected over the specified period. Tissue specimens from patients in Jakarta, Indonesia, were examined through direct microscopy with KOH and culture methods. Susceptibility testing was performed for various antifungal drugs. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS. Results: The average age of patients suspected (n= 289) and indicated (n= 130) to have fungal infections was approximately 39.23 and 40.67 years, respectively. Most fungi that are not detected in direct examination with KOH, does not grow in culture (55%, n=159/289). Most tissue specimens came from the respiratory system (48.8%, n=141) particularly sinus (21.1%, n= 61). Out of the isolated fungal species, Candida emerged as the most prominent (57/119), followed by Aspergillus (29/119) and Mucorales (13/119). Our susceptibility testing revealed that Candida demonstrated susceptibility patterns that were largely consistent with studies conducted in Semarang and Jakarta (72-100% sensitive); however, when compared to regions outside of Indonesia, results differ. Most of Aspergillus isolates were sensitive (81-100%) to common antifungals. Nevertheless, its susceptibility profiles are subject to local variability. Conclusions: This study provides an updated data on the species distribution and antifungal susceptibility of fungal isolates in Jakarta, Indonesia. This study hopes to improve diagnosis and treatment strategies of fungal infections."

"ABSTRAK
Pasien mikosis meningkat sejalan dengan bertambahnya populasi imunokompromi. Pengetahuan tentang jamur penyebab dan respons terhadap antijamur penting dalam tatalaksana mikosis yang dipengaruhi oleh geografi, sehingga penting untuk menelitinya sesuai wilayah dalam hal ini Jakarta. Penelitian bersifat retrospektif dilakukan di Laboratorium Parasitologi FKUI dengan meneliti data tahun 2004-2015. Didapatkan 16478 isolat dari 14707 bahan klinis. Golongan khamir terbanyak adalah C. albicans, C. tropicalis dan C. parapsilosis, sementara golongan kapang adalah Aspergillus dan Fusarium. Sebagian besar khamir peka terhadap flukonazol dan Aspergillus seluruhnya peka terhadap vorikonazol. sebagian besar uji kepekaan khamir peka terhadap itrakonazol sedangkan kepekaan kapang hanya sekitar 50 peka.
ABSTRACT Patients with mycosis rise along with increasing number of immunocompromised population. Awareness to causative fungi and its susceptibility to antifungals is important in mycoses treatment which is influenced by geographic conditions, so investigation by region is needed, in this case Jakarta. Retrospective study was conducted to investigate data at Parasitology laboratory FKUI from 2004 2015. There were 16,478 isolates obtained from 14,707 clinical specimens. The most common yeasts are C. albicans, C. tropicalis and C. parapsilosis, whereas Aspergillus and Fusarium were the most common mold. Most of the yeasts are sensitive to fluconazole and itraconazole, the whole Aspergillus are sensitive to voriconazole, whereas the susceptibility to itraconazole is only about 50 . "

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai pengaruh consumers’ susceptibility to interpersonal influence terhadap materialisme pada remaja. Pengukuran consumers’ susceptibility to interpersonal influence menggunakan alat ukur SUSCEP Scale (Bearden, Netemeyer, & Teel, 1989) dan pengukuran materialisme menggunakan alat ukur Material Values Scale Short Form (Richins, 2004b). Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 200 remaja.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan consumers’ susceptibility to interpersonal influence secara signifikan mempengaruhi materialisme remaja (β= .530, t(183)= 8.796, p<.01.). Dengan demikian, semakin tinggi consumers’ susceptibility to interpersonal influence yang dimiliki seseorang, maka semakin tinggi pula materialisme yang ia miliki. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, remaja perlu diintervensi sejak dini untuk mengantisipasi consumers susceptibility to interpersonal influence yang dapat mempengaruhi materialisme pada mereka.

This research was conducted to find the influence of consumers susceptibility to interpersonal influence on materialism in adolescents. Consumers’ susceptibility to interpersonal influence was measured using SUSCEP Scale (Bearden, Netemeyer, & Teel, 1989) and materialism was measured using Material Values Scale Short Form (Richins, 2004b). The respondent of this research are 200 adolescents.
The main results of this research show that consumers susceptibility to interpersonal influence significantly influence acolescents materialism (β= .530, t(183)= 8.796, p<.01.). That is, the higher consumers susceptibility to interpersonal influence of one's own, the higher showing materialism. Based on this result, adolescents need to intervened early to anticipate consumers susceptibility to interpersonal influence which can influence materialism in adolescents.

"Kanker ovarium merupakan penyakit ginekologi terbanyak ketiga setelah kanker payudara dan kanker serviks. Kanker ovarium epitelial merupakan tipe paling banyak, dibedakan menjadi low-grade dan high-grade. Faktor kerentanan genetik yang diduga dapat meningkatkan risiko kanker ovarium adalah gen AKNA yang berperan pada respon imun, inflamasi, Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition (EMT). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui distribusi varian promotor gen AKNA rs10817595 dan ekspresinya tingkat mRNA dan protein pada kanker ovarium epitelial. Sebanyak 63 sampel kanker ovarium dan 65 kontrol digunakan untuk analisis distribusi genotipe dan alel AKNA menggunakan T-ARMS PCR, 35 sampel low-grade, 28 sampel high- grade dianalisis ekspresi mRNA menggunakan qRT-PCR dan dianalisis korelasinya dengan genotipe AKNA. Sebanyak 15 sampel low-grade, 12 sampel high-grade dianalisis level protein AKNA menggunakan imunohistokimia dan dianalisis korelasinya dengan level mRNA AKNA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan frekuensi distribusi genotipe dan alel AKNA, perbedaan signifikan ekspresi mRNA AKNA dan korelasi signifikan ekspresi relatif mRNA AKNA dengan genotipe AKNA, perbedaan signifikan level protein AKNA pada kelompok low-grade, high-grade dibanding kista, tidak ditemukan korelasi signifikan ekspresi relatif mRNA AKNA dengan level protein. Disimpulkan bahwa varian promotor gen AKNA dapat menyebabkan penurunan level mRNA dan protein kelompok low-grade dan high-grade sehingga berpotensi sebagai faktor kerentanan genetik pada kanker ovarium epitelial.

Ovarian cancer is the third highest gynecological disease after breast and cervical cancer. Epithelial ovarian cancer is common type, divided into low-grade and high- grade. Genetic susceptibility factor that is thought to increase ovarian cancer risk is AKNA gene which plays a role in immune response, inflammation, Epithelial- Mesenchymal Transition (EMT). This study aims to determine the distribution of AKNA (rs10817595) variant gene promotor, its mRNA and protein level in epithelial ovarian cancer. 63 ovarian cancer and 65 controls were used for genotyping using T- ARMS PCR, 35 low-grade and 28 high-grade samples were analyzed for mRNA levels using qRT-PCR and for correlation with AKNA genotype. 15 low-grade and 12 high- grade samples were analyzed for AKNA protein levels using immunohistochemistry and for correlation with AKNA mRNA levels. The results showed that there was no significant difference in AKNA genotypes and alleles, significant differences in mRNA level and significant correlations between mRNA level with AKNA genotypes, significant differences in AKNA protein levels, and no significant correlation of mRNA with protein levels in low-grade, high-grade compared to cyst. Concluded that AKNA gene promotor variant can cause a decrease in mRNA and protein levels in the low-grade and high-grade, it has the potential as one of genetic susceptibility factor for epithelial ovarian cancer."

Latar belakang: Anak dengan gizi buruk tak hanya rentan terhadap infeksi, keparahan infeksi dan angka kematian akibat infeksi juga meningkat. Sefotaksim merupakan antibiotik empiris yang paling sering digunakan pada anak di Rumah Sakit Cipto Mangunkusumo RSCM tanpa melihat status gizi. Hingga saat ini data mengenai rsepon terhadap sefotaksim pada anak gizi buruk di RSCM serta fokus infeksi dan etiologinya masih terbatas. Tujuan: Mengetahui respon pemberian antibiotik sefotaksim sebagai terapi empiris pada anak gizi buruk yang dirawat inap berikut karakteristik, fokus infeksi, profil kuman dan sensitifitasnya terhadap sefotaksim. Metode: Penelitian prospektif observasional pada anak gizi buruk usia 10 ?g/L dan juga semua subyek dengan HIV positif yang mengalami sepsis tidak berespon dengan terapi sefotaksim. Simpulan: Enam puluh lima persen infeksi pada anak gizi buruk tidak memberikan respon terhadap terapi empiris sefotaksim. Antibiotik sefotaksim sebaiknya tidak digunakan sebagai terapi empiris pada anak gizi buruk dengan sepsis berat atau HIV positif yang mengalami sepsis.
ABSTRACT Background Children with severe malnutrition is vulnerable to infection, increase in its severity and death rate. Cefotaxime has been widely used as empirical antibiotic for children in Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital, regardless their nutritional status. However there is little data about etiology of infection in our population and the response to empirical antibiotic cefotaxime. Aim To evaluate the response to empirical antibiotic cefotaxime in children with severe malnutrition, its characteristic, diagnosis of infection, and antibiotic susceptibility profile. Method Children 18 year old hospitalized from October to December 2016 with severe malnutrition and received cefotaxime as empirical antibiotic were included and followed for 5 days. A clinical examination, complete blood count, urinalysis, procalcitonin PCT , c reactive peptide CRP , blood and urine culture were performed systematically on admission. Stool and sputum culture were also done as indicated. Repeated PCT and CRP were done between day 3 to 5. Result Among 40 children included in the study, 50 has more than one infection. The most frequent infection is urinary tract infection 50 , followed by pneumonia 47,5 and acute diarrhea 32,5 . Blood culture was positive only in 4 subjects, 4 5 isolates were gram positive bacteria. Escherecia coli was the most common pathogen in urine 30 . Only 9,5 of all isolated bacteria were sensitive to cefotaxime. Overall, only 35 responded to antibiotic cefotaxime. All patient with PCT 10 g L on admission, and those with HIV positive and sepsis did not respond. Conclusion Sixty five children with severe malnutrition and infection did not respond to empirical antibiotic cefotaxime. Clinician must reconsider giving cefotaxime as empirical antibiotic in severely malnourished children, especially those with severe sepsis and HIV with sepsis. "

"ABSTRACT
Antiklinorium structures that are spreading in the area of Rembang Zone along the Central Java to East Java reflect oil traps that lay under the surface. The oil fields have been exploited since the time of the Dutch occupation leaving the water cut at above 95%. Interpretation of reserves and production forecasts made by many researchers conclude that the remaining oil is still in the range of 50% (OOIP). To overcome the problem, the Government recently encouraged researchers to conduct a comprehensive review in terms of enhanced oil recovery with the goal of increasing the oil recovery in this zone by as much as possible. The XYZ-oil field in the Rembang Zone has a widely spread reservoir sandstone in the border area of the Central Java - East Java. Reservoir rocks in this area contain calcareous and silty matrix. Clay minerals are distributed almost evenly with high kaolinite content (30% of the bulk clay mineral). Kaolinite is a mineral that is easily removed by fluid flow so that it would create problems during the oil production process. The composition of injection water collected from several wells can also easily form slugs and scale as indicated by the occurrence of crude oil and bacteria that behave as a very corrosive substance that tends to facilitate the creation of production and equipment damage. This study conducted an experiment in enhanced oil recovery using waterflooding. To avoid the occurence of non-Darcy flow, critical velocity analysis was conducted obtaining a value of 37.6 ft/day. This velocity is defined as a maximum injection velocity of the water displacement in this waterflooding experiment. Based on the waterflooding experiment of X-Well in the laboratory, the injection of oil using injection water without additives led to an increase in oil recovery of 0.77% Pore Volume (%PV), while the displacement of injection water added with additives resulted in an increase in oil recovery by as much as 1.31%PV."
