"selecting dan measuring performance of supplier is one of the fundamental aspect to the seccess of implementing supply management. By having qualified suppliers, companies can offer excellent products and services to their customers. Thus, the success of a supply chain can be accomplished. PT "AR", which is located in Denpasar had evaluated the performance of its suppliers by a conventional method. The aims of this research is to implement analytical hierarchy process method for evaluating performance of the suppliers by integrating some criterias used by the company. By implementing this method, PT "AR" will know the rank of its supplier. Supplier with execellent performance, hand in hand with PT "AR" will tr to realize their success."

"Pada era globalisasi saat ini, perkembangan industri mengalami kemajuan yang pesat. Keadaan tersebut menjadikan kondisi persaingan bisnis semakin ketat. Persaingan menjadi suatu tantangan bagi perusahaan untuk terus berupaya meningkatkan performansinya agar dapat menghasilkan output produksi yang mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Output yang akan dihasilkan oleh perusahaan sangat dipengaruhi oleh mutu dari produk yang diberikan oleh supplier. Oleh sebab itu, kegiatan pengukuran dan evaluasi kinerja supplier penting dilakukan oleh perusahaan dalam rangka meningkatkan kekuatan bersaing, kepuasan pelanggan, serta profitabilitas perusahaan. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) dan Analytical Network Process (ANP). Metode DEMATEL digunakan untuk mendapat matriks hubungan total dimana matriks tersebut dapat diketahui kriteria dan sub kriteria mana yang paling penting dan yang paling banyak mempengaruhi. Hasil pada metode DEMATEL digunakan sebagai input pada metode ANP untuk menghitung bobot setiap kriteria dan sub kriteria. Dari bobot kriteria dan sub kriteria yang telah didapatkan, nilai terbobot setiap supplier dapat dihitung untuk mengetahui supplier yang memiliki nilai tertinggi sampai terendah.

In current era of globalization, industrial development is progressing rapidly. This situation makes condition of business competition becomes more intense. Competition is a challenge for company to continue to improve its performance in order to produce the output that is able to meet customer needs. The output to be produced by company is strongly influenced by quality of the product provided by supplier. Therefore, supplier performance measurement and evaluation activities are important for company in order to improve competitive strength, customer satisfaction, and company profitability. This study uses Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) and Analytical Network Process (ANP) methods. DEMATEL method is used to obtain a Total Influence Matrix where the matrix can be known which criteria and sub-criteria are the most important and which affect the most. The results of DEMATEL method are used as input to ANP method to calculate the weight of criteria and sub-criteria. From the weight of criteria and sub-criteria that have been obtained, the weighted value of each supplier can be calculated to find out which supplier has the highest to the lowest value."
