Fenomena globalisasi memberikan dampak terhadap perubahan perilaku masyarakat perkotaan khusunya generasi millenials,salah satunya adalah mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku spasial mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia dilihat dari karakteristik mahasiswa, yaitu karakteristik psikografik dan kognitif serta karakteristik lokasi berdasarkan identitas kafe dan point of interest di Jalan Margonda Raya. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian, metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis kuantitatif menggunakan uji SPSS Chi Square berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah perilaku spasial mahasiswa UI dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik psikografi dan kognitif dalam memilih lokasi kafe di JalanMargonda Raya. Mahasiswa bergaya hidup kaya informasi cenderung memilih tipe kafe berkelas sederhana di wilayah perekonomian ramai. Sedangkan mahasiswa bergaya hidup trendi dan serius, lebih fleksibel dalam memilih kafe, baik tipe maupun lokasinya. Pengetahuan mahasiswa UI tentang suatu kafe yang bersumber dari internet dan teman memberikan kontribusi lebih terhadap keputusan mahasiswa UI dalam memilih kafe-kafe berkelas menengah di wilayah perekonomian ramai.

ABSTRACT
The phenomenon of globalization gives the impact on the urban society rsquo s behaviors especially millenials generation, who are the university students. The purpose of this study is to examine the spatial behaviors of the students at Universitas Indonesia based on their characteristics, which are psychographic, cognitive, and localization characteristics in accordance with the cafes rsquo identity as well as the point of interest in Margonda Raya Street. In order to attain the purpose, the methods used in this study are descriptive and quantitative analysis by using SPSS Chi Square based on the interview carried out with purposive random sampling. The outcome of this study is that the spatial behaviors of students at Universitas Indonesia are affected by psychographic and cognitive characteristics in choosing the cafes rsquo locations in Margonda Raya Street. Students who are rich on information are more likely to choose more modest caf s in the bustling economic region. Meanwhile, students with more serious and trendier lifestyle tend to be more flexible in choosing cafes, either the types or locations. Students at Universitas Indonesia obtain the information from the internet and colleagues who contribute in considering their decision in choosing middle level caf s in the bustling economic region.

Peneliti menggunakan desain studi cross sectional, dengan cara pengambilan sampel total sampling, sampel yang terambil sebanyak 370 santri. Gambaran tingkat prestasi pada santri Nurul Fikri Boarding School Serang Banten tahun 2011 yang terbanyak adalah yang kategorinya kurang berdasarkan nilai mean rapot santri masing-masing kelas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada santri Nurul Fikri Boarding School Serang Banten tahun 2011 hubungan yang signifikan dalam karakteristik santri hanya jenis kelamin dengan p value sebesar 0,001 dengan hasil laki-laki lebih berpotensi 1,364 berprestasi belajar rendah daripada perempuan dan substansi hasilnya. sedangkan hubungan yang signifikan dalam psikologi santri adalah tempat belajar dengan p value sebesar 0,034 dengan hasil santri yang tidak ada ruang belajar lebih proteksi 0,805 berprestasi belajar rendah dari pada yang ada ruang belajar, substansi hasilnya dan metode belajar dengan p value sebesar 0,001 dengan hasil santri yang memilih metode belajar sendiri lebih proteksi 0,709 berprestasi belajar rendah daripada santri yang memilih berlajar kelompok. Diharapkan pihak sekolah dapat mengembangkan program pengembangan yang tepat untuk semua santri dan mengondisikan lingkungan agar kondusif untuk kegiatan belajar dan mengajar.
