"ABSTRAKJurnal ini membahas mengenai aspek pragmatik yang terdapat dalam film Belanda Hoe Duur Was De Suiker 2013 . Aspek tersebut adalah tindak tutur dari kedua tokoh utama dalam film Hoe Duur Was De Suiker 2013 yang bernama Sarith dan Mini-Mini. Tindak tutur digunakan dalam suatu percakapan agar penutur dan mitra tuturnya dapat mencapai tujuan dari tindak tutur tersebut. Penulis menganalisis hal ini karena penulis ingin mengetahui apakah makna interaksi yang terjadi antara kedua tokoh dapat tersampaikan dengan baik berdasarkan tindak tuturnya atau tidak. Setelah diamati, di dalam film tersebut hanya terdapat 16 percakapan antara Sarith dan Mini-Mini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teori tindak tutur oleh Austin Searle. Penulis hanya akan memasukkan percakapan yang memiliki unsur ilokusi direktif. Setelah dianalisis, dari 16 percakapan yang ada di dalam film tersebut, hanya 9 percakapan yang megandung unsur ilokusi direktif. Dari 9 percakapan tersebut, hanya terdapat satu percakapan yang tidak berhasil dilakukan oleh penutur, yaitu Sarith dan mitra tuturnya, yaitu Mini-Mini.

ABSTRACTThe focus of this study is pragmatic aspects which appears in a Dutch Movie Hoe Duur Was de Suiker 2013 . The Speech Act which is used by the two main characters in the movie named Sarith and Mini Mini, will be analyzed through this study. In a conversation, Speech Act is used so that speakers and partners can achieve the purpose of the Speech Act. The purpose of this study is to know the meaning of the interactions that occur between the two main characters are conveyed properly or not. The method of this study is descriptive qualitative using The Speech Act Theory by Austin Searle. Once observed, the two main characters contains only 16 conversation in the movie. From 16 conversations, only 9 of them has elements of directive illocutionary. The result shows that from 9 conversations, there is only one conversation that is not successfully carried out by the speakers Sarith and partners Mini Mini ."
