Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan bahan bakar minyak (BBM) di Indonesia, dibutuhkan moda transportasi agar BBM dapat terdistribusi di berbagai penjuru daerah khususnya daerah pedalaman yang memiliki perairan dangkal. Self-Propelled Oil Barge (SPOB), sebagai moda transportasi yang sesuai dengan keadaan tersebut, memerlukan sistem perpipaan. Pada tugas akhir ini, penulis membahas mengenai perancangan sistem perpipaan dengan prioritas pada sistem perpipaan muatan. SPOB ini dirancang untuk dapat mengangkut tiga jenis muatan yang berbeda. Perancangan sistem perpipaan menggunakan standar Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS), badan klasifikasi ClassNK, MARPOL, dan SOLAS. ......To satisfy needs of fossil fuel in Indonesia, modes of transport is needed. Therefore, fossil fuel can be distributed across the country, especially in rural areas which has shallow water. Self-Propelled Oil Barge (SPOB), as a mode of transport which is suitable for that condition, needs piping system. In this final project, the author explains about design of piping systems with oil cargo piping system as the main concern. This SPOB is designed to be able to load three different types of fossil fuel. The piping system design uses these standards, such as Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS), ClassNK classification society, MARPOL, and SOLAS.

[Indonesia merupakan negara dengan wilayah perairan yang besar dimana kapal menjadi transportasi yang paling baik dalam berbagai kegiatan yang melibatkan penyebrangan. Galangan kapal sebagai pihak pembuat kapal diharapkan dapat memproduksi kapal tak hanya dalam kuantitas yang banyak tetapi juga kualitas yang baik. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut dibutuhkan manajemen galangan yang baik dimana dalam setiap proses harus dilakukan secara terencana dengan pengawasan teratur dalam hal ini kesiapan desain adalah salah satu faktor penentu dimana desain adalah hal yang fundamental dalam proses pembangunan kapal proses desain yang baik dan terencana serta pengawasan yang cermat akan mencegah terjadinya keterlambatan kesiapan seluruh desain yang juga akan mencegah terjadinya keterlambatan dalam proses pembangunan kapal. ......Indonesia is a country with great territorial waters where vessels transport most well be in range of activities that involve crossing. Shipyard as the builders is expected to produce ships not only in quantity but also the quality that a lot of good to achieve. Abstrak :
This book introduces a holistic approach to ship design and its optimisation for life-cycle operation. It deals with the scientific background of the adopted approach and the associated synthesis model, which follows modern computer aided engineering (CAE) procedures. It integrates techno-economic databases, calculation and multi-objective optimisation modules and s/w tools with a well-established Computer-Aided Design (CAD) platform, along with a Virtual Vessel Framework (VVF), which will allow virtual testing before the building phase of a new vessel. The resulting graphic user interface (GUI) and information exchange systems enable the exploration of the huge design space to a much larger extent and in less time than is currently possible, thus leading to new insights and promising new design alternatives. The book not only covers the various stages of the design of the main ship system, but also addresses relevant major onboard systems/components in terms of life-cycle performance to offer readers a better understanding of suitable outfitting details, which is a key aspect when it comes the outfitting-intensive products of international shipyards. The book disseminates results of the EU funded Horizon 2020 project HOLISHIP (www.holiship.eu).;

ABSTRAK
Indonesia memiliki potensi biota laut dan wisata bahari yang sangat kaya, maka dari itu dibutuhkan kapal katamaran untuk wisata pancing. Desain kapal katamaran dibuat sesuai dengan kebutuhan kapal pancing dengan standar kenyamanan dan keamanan yang ada. Dalam penelitian ini, kapal katamaran dibuat dari data lambung yang sudah ada (existing hull) dengan ukuran L: 6.1m, B: 0.45m, T: 0.1m, H: 0.4m. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan cara studi literatur dan didapatkan rancangan kapal katamaran untuk wisata pancing yang baru yaitu L: 6.1m, B (moulded):0.45m, B (katamaran): 3m, T: 0.5m, H: 0.7m. Dengan menggunakan data kapal baru diperoleh perkiraan kecepatan kapal sebesar 6 knot dengan daya mesin yang di butuhkan yaitu 8.92 hp.
ABSTRACT
Indonesia has a very rich potential of marine and maritime tourism, therefore catamaran ship is needed for fishing travel. The catamaran ship design is made based on the necessity of fishing boat which satisfy the standard of safety and satisfaction. In this research, the catamaran ship is made from the already existing hull with a dimension of L: 6.1m, B: 0.45m, T: 0.1m, H: 0.4m. Data processing is done by studying the literature. New ship?s data is obtained, which is L: 6.1m, B (moulded):0.45m, B (catamaran): 3m, T: 0.5m, H: 0.7m. Using this new ship data, the speed of the ship is obtained, which is 6 knot and require 8.92 hp engine power.

ABSTRAK
Meningkatnya kebutuhan gas di kepulauan Indonesia, mengakibatkan beberapa industri membangun pembangkit berskala kecil. Namun letak pembangkit yang berbeda-beda mengakibatkan tidak semua kapal pengangkut gas dapat beroperasi terutama pada wilayah perairan dangkal di Sabang dan Nias. Pembangunan kapal LNG berukuran kecil atau small scale LNG carrier SSLC sebagai salah satu solusi permasalahan tersebut. Namun SSLC belum banyak digunakan, hanya terdapat 57 unit kapal SSLC di dunia pada 2016 lalu. Sehingga perancangan desain SSLC masih terbilang sulit. Oleh karena itu, perancangan desain dengan menggunakan desain parametrik untuk memudahkan perancangan kapal SSLC yang sesuai dengan kondisi Sabang dan Nias. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dimensi utama kapal yang optimum untuk kapal berkapasitas muatan sebesar 2500 m3 dan 7500 m3 dari kapal SSLC 5000 m3 sebagai initial design dengan menggunakan kriteria parameter dimensi ratio L/B, B/T, T/H, dan L/H. Penentuan kriteria berdasarkan database kapal pembanding sebanyak 44 unit kapal. Dimensi utama dari initial design kapal SSLC 5000 m3 adalah L = 94,3 meter, B = 16,57 meter, T = 4,57 meter, dan H = 10,32 meter. Hasil penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan dimensi utama paling optimum yaitu L = 82,23 meter, B = 14,32 meter, T = 3,9 meter, dan H = 7,91 meter untuk kapal SSLC 2500 m3 dan L = 109,73 meter, B = 19,11 meter, T = 5,2 meter, H = 10,55 meter untuk kapal SSLC 7500 m3
ABSTRACT<>br> The increasing demand for gas in the Indonesian archipelago caused some industries building small scale power plants. However, the location of different power plants caused not all of gas carriers being able to operate especially in shallow water areas in Sabang and Nias. The building of small scale LNG carrier SSLC as one of the solutions to this problem. But SSLC has not been widely used, there are only 57 units of SSLC in the world in 2016. It causes design planning of SSLC is still quite difficult. Therefore, parametric design can make easier to get the design that suitable with condition of Sabang and Nias. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimum rsquo s main dimensions with load capacity of 2500 m3 and 7500 m3 from SSLC 5000 m3 as initial design by using dimension ratios L B, B T, T H and L H. Determination of criteria based on the comparison vessel database of 44 units of SSLC. Main dimension of initial design 5000 m3 are L 94,3 meter, B 16,57 meter, T 4,57 meter, and H 10,32 meter. The results of this study is to get the optimum rsquo s main dimensions i.e. L 82,23 meter, B 14,32 meter, T 3,9 meter, and H 7,91 meter for 2500 m3 SSLC and L 109,73 meter, B 19,11 meter, T 5,2 meter, H 10,55 meter for 7500 m3 SSLC.

Pada tahap awal desain kapal, optimasi dimensi utama memiliki dampak yang signifikan dalam menentukan kinerja kapal dan total cost of ownership. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pendekatan multi-objective optimization (MOP) dengan surrogate model untuk tahap awal desain kapal. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan ensemble dari 3 surrogate model: PR (Polynomial Regression), Kriging, dan BPNN-PSO (Backpropagation Neural Networks – Particle Swarm Optimizer) dan adaptive switching metamodeling (ASM) framework pada MOP. Framework ini didapatkan dari taksonomi surrogate model berdasarkan bagaimana fungsi objective dan constraint dimodelkan secara independen atau agregat. Hasil akurasi surrogate model menunjukkan ensemble surrogate model mempunyai performa terbaik dengan Mean Absolute Error (MAE) 10.75 dan R2 0.98. Kemudian, hasil optimization menunjukkan kombinasi Kriging dengan ASM memberikan performa terbaik dengan nilai Inverted Generational Distance (IGD) paling kecil dan hypervolume paling besar dibandingkan kombinasi lainnya. Di sisi lain, framework dengan fungsi objective dan constraint dioptimalkan secara independen (framework M1-2), mendapatkan performa IGD yang paling baik untuk ensemble maupun individual surrogate model. Varian solusi desain dari kombinasi Kriging dan ASM framework memberikan nilai objective kebutuhan daya 60% lebih kecil dan berat baja 7% lebih kecil (dengan waktu desain 300 kali lebih cepat), jika dibandingkan dengan hasil desain oleh desainer kapal. ......In the early stages of ship design, optimization of main ship dimensions significantly impacts ship performance and the total cost of ownership. This research focuses on the Multi-Objective Optimization (MOP) approach with the surrogate model for the early stages of ship design. This study applies an ensemble approach of 3 surrogate models: PR (Polynomial Regression), Kriging, and BPNN-PSO (Backpropagation Neural Networks - Particle Swarm Optimizer) and Adaptive Switching Metamodeling (ASM) framework on MOP. This framework is obtained from the surrogate model taxonomy based on how the objective and constraint functions are modeled independently or in aggregate. The results of the surrogate model accuracy show that the ensemble surrogate model has the best performance with a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 10.75 and R2 of 0.98. Then the optimization results show that the combination of Kriging with the ASM framework has the best performance with the smallest IGD value and the largest hypervolume compared to other combinations. Meanwhile, frameworks with objective and constraint functions optimized independently (framework M1-2) have the best IGD performance for both ensemble and individual surrogate models. The design solution variant of the Kriging and ASM framework has objective values of 60% less effective power and 7% less steel weight requirements (with design time 300 times faster), when compared to the original design by the expert/ship designer.

Ship optimization design is critical to the preliminary design of a ship. With the rapid development of computer technology, the simulation-based design (SBD) technique has been introduced into the field of ship design. Typical SBD consists of three parts: geometric reconstruction; CFD numerical simulation; and optimization. In the context of ship design, these are used to alter the shape of the ship, evaluate the objective function and to assess the hull form space respectively. As such, the SBD technique opens up new opportunities and paves the way for a new method for optimal ship design. This book discusses the problem of optimizing ship’s hulls, highlighting the key technologies of ship optimization design and presenting a series of hull-form optimization platforms. It includes several improved approaches and novel ideas with significant potential in this field
