"ABSTRAKBersepeda sebagai salah satu bentuk gaya hidup sehat, kini tengah menjadi trenmasyarakat dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhmeningkatnya tren ini ialah peran dari komunitas sepeda yang secara aktifmempromosikan kultur bersepeda. Studi sebelumnya cenderung lebihmenekankan pada pentingnya faktor kebijakan serta infrastruktur. Tulisan ini akanmelengkapi studi terdahulu dengan menjelaskan peran komunitas dalammembangun kultur bersepeda melalui jaringan sosial. Untuk menggali datamengenai penggunaan jaringan sosial dalam membangun kultur bersepeda, studiini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam. Jaringan sosialerat kaitannya dengan akses kepada sumberdaya-sumberdaya yang dapatdigunakan untuk mencapai tujuan komunitas, yaitu membangun kultur bersepeda.Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komunitas Bike To WorkIndonesia membangun jaringan dengan komunitas lain, pasar, dan pemerintah.Jaringan tersebut digunakan untuk membangun kultur bersepeda baik secarastruktural maupun kultural.

ABSTRACTCycling as a form of healthy lifestyle, is becoming a trend of the world society,including Indonesia. One of the factors that influence this trend is the increasingrole of the bicycle community that actively promote cycling culture. Previousstudies tended to put more emphasis on the importance of policies andinfrastructure factors. This paper will complement previous studies by explainingthe role of the community in building a culture of cycling through socialnetworks. To collect data on the use of social networks in building a culture ofcycling, this study used qualitative methods through in-depth interviews. Thesocial network is closely related to access to resources that can be used to achievecommunity goals, namely to build a culture of cycling. Findings from this studyindicate that the Community Bike To Work Indonesia build a network with thecommunity, the market, and the government. "ABSTRAKSepeda merupakan salah satu alat transportasi yang ramah lingkungan karena tidak menghasilkan emisi sama sekali zero emission. Seperti halnya negara-negara maju di Eropa yang banyak menggunakan sepeda sebagai alat transportasi sehari-hari, Indonesia memiliki potensi yang tinggi untuk menerapkan hal serupa, demi terciptanya bumi Indonesia yang ramah lingkungan dan minim polusi. Penelitian Rancang Bangun Sistem Cruise Control ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan antusiasme masyarakat agar lebih mencintai sepeda sebagai alat transportasi sehari-hari dengan menunjang aspek kenyamanan dalam mengayuh sepeda dengan mengatur rasio gigi belakang secara otomatis saat bersepeda. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada kondisi sepeda dikayuh menggunakan paddock, sehingga sepeda pada kondisi diam tidak berjalan dan dapat diasumsikan sebagai jalan datar. Hasilnya, spesifikasi serta asembli komponen-komponen utama untuk sistem Cruise Control seperti mikro kontroler, LCD, sensor, aktuator berupa servo motor dan power suplai telah ditentukan dari hasil trial dan eror beberapa kali.

ABSTRACTBicycles are one of environmental friendly transportations because they do not produce emissions at all zero emission. Like many developed countries in Europe which use bicycle as daily transportation, Indonesia has high potential to apply the same strategies, in order to create an environmental friendly and low polluted. This Research for Cruise Control System deigned to increase the enthusiasm of the public to love the bicycle as daily transportation by supporting the convenience aspect of pedaling the bike by adjusting the rear gear ratio automatically when cycling. This study is limited to the bike conditions that pedaled on paddock, so the bike on static condition and not running and can be assumed as a flat road. As a result, the specifications and components of the main components for Cruise Control systems such as microcontrollers, LCDs, sensors, actuators such as servo motors and power supply have been determined from trial and error several times. "

"Nowadays, in a very competitive market, a brand would be very important because product attributes are relatively easy to be imitated. Therefore, a company must control their intangible assets, such as brand equity. Brand Equity is the assets and liabilities, linked to a brand's name and symbol that adds to the value provided by a product or service to a firm and that firm's costumer. The major asset categories are: brand awareness, brand perceived quality, brand association, and brand loyalty. Brand Equity is not built easily. Building, maintaining, and protecting must be controlled professionally. Prestigious brand which has strong brand equity so it has strong association in consumer's mind. With strong brand equity, marketer's goal for developing and getting market share will be obtained. This Research has been conducted to find the analysis of brand equity of Shell Super automotive fuel. The target respondents were the members of HTML (Honda Tiger Mailing List) community. The theory of Brand Equity by David Aaker was used. The goal of this research was to know the Brand Equity analysis of Shell Super automotive fuel upon the members of HTML community. This research used survey research and descriptive research type. Purposive sampling was used in technique sampling research. 100 respondents were analyzed using Distribution Frequencies Method with application on SPSS for Windows Release 15.0. This analysis showed that brand awareness of Shell automotive fuel had a good result because generally the HTML community members were aware with Shell Super. Brand Perceived Quality and Brand Associations also showed a good result. In spite of Brand Loyalty result showed that the respondents weren't loyal but generally respondents like Shell Super."

Sejak generasi pertamanya muncul, sepeda telah menggebrak sistem transportasi darat yang pada zaman itu sangat tergantung pada hewan, khususnya kuda. Namun saat ini sistem transmisi sproket sepeda banyak digunakan pada peralatan-peralatan lain seperti:becak, gerobak, mesin pemarut kelapa, mesin perontok gabah, perajin batu akik, dan lain-lain.Sistem. transmisi sproket yang umumnya digunakan pada sepeda saat ini adalah sistem transmisi multy speed yaitu sistem transmisi rantai rol yang digerakkan dengan cara memindahkan lintasan rantai rol secara aksial pada beberapa sproket yang memiliki diameter yang diameternya bervariasi. Dengan mempelajari kelemahan-kelemahan yang terdapat pada sistem ini, maka didisain suatu. inovasi baru suatu sistem transmisi rantai rol dengan Cara mengembangkan sproket yang dapat digerakkan secara radial. Dari hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem transmisi rantai rol ini memiliki unjuk kerja yang cukup baik paling tidak sebagai inovasi baru terutama dalam mengatasi kelemahan-kelemahan yang terdapat pada sistem transmisi rantai rol pada sistem malty speed.Inovasi sistem pengembang sproket ini dapat digunakan secara luas terutama pada peralatan yang menggunakan sistem transmisi yang sama dengan sistem transmisi yang terdapat pada sepeda.

"Semakin tingginya jumlah sepeda motor khususnya di banyak perkotaan di Indonesia kini menjadi fenomena yang sangat menarik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan jumlah kendaraan pribadi sebesar 98% dari total jumlah kendaraan dan sebagian besar diantaranya adalah sepeda motor. Pada tahun 2008, pertumbuhan volume produksi sepeda motor meningkat cukup tinggi yakni 33,3% dengan volume sebesar 6,27 juta unit. Dengan kelebihannya dalam bermanuver tentunya akan berpengaruh terhadap arus lalu-lintas di jalan raya. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah melakukan studi mikroskopis kecepatan, kepadatan dan arus lalu-lintas pada jalan raya yang persentase sepeda motornya lebih besar atau sama dengan 70%.Metode yang digunakan dalam pengambilan data adalah melalui proses perekaman gambar video kondisi lalu-lintas yang berlokasi di sebagian ruas Jalan TB Simatupang (depan Gedung Ratu Prabu II). Sedangkan untuk pengolahan data digunakan metode regresi linear untuk menentukan hubungan antarvariabel lalulintas melalui model Greenshields, Underwood, dan data lapangan. Hasil dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa kurva prediksi perubahan akibat bertambahnya jumlah sepeda motor tidak sepenuhnya terjadi pada model Greenshields padahal perubahannya terlihat jelas pada sebaran data lapangannya. Nilai koefisien determinasi dari persamaan yang didapatkan dari model Underwood lebih baik dari model Greenshields. Greenshields kemungkinan tidak melakukan permodelan untuk proporsi sepeda motor yang tinggi sehingga nilai koefisien determinasi dari persamaan matematis yang didapatkan kecil.

The high number of motorcycles utilisation, especially in many urban areas in Indonesia, which is indicated by the number of utilisation about 98% of total number of vehicle, has become a very interesting phenomenon. In 2008, the production rate of motorcycle quitely excessive about 33,33% (from last year) or 6,27 million units. Despite this rate of utilisation, motorcycles profit some benefits especially maneuvering that affect considerably the traffic flow. The purpose of this study is to study microscopic velocity, density and traffic flow on the road that the percentage of motorcycle is greater or equal to 70%.The method used in this study through the recording of video images especially the traffic conditions, located in the joint of TB. Simatupang Street (in front of Ratu Prabu II Building). Moreover the data processing method uses linear regression to determine the relationship between variables traffic through Greenshields model, Underwood model, and the data field. Results from this study indicate that predicted curve changes due to increase in the number of motorcycle does not fully occur in the Greenshields?s model, which is the contrary of its distribution of field data that clearly indicate visible changes. The coefficient of determination value from the equation obtained from Underwood model is better than Greenshields model. Greenshields can not possibly do the modeling for the high proportion, which in the case is motorcycle proportion, showing from the small coefficient of determination from the mathematical equation obtained."

"Tesis akan menganalisa getaran yang terjadi pada mesin sepeda motor akibat kondisi karburator, klep dan oli tidak standar, perangkat keras atau unit kendali menggunakan Data Acqusition (DAQ) card dan perangkat lunak untuk analisa getaran menggunakan software labVIEW 8.5. Objek yang diteliti adalah mesin sepeda motor jenis 125 CC, berbahan bakar bensin mempunyai satu jenis silinder dan satu piston, satu camshaft dinamakan SOHC (Single Overhead Camshaft) menggunakan rantai penggerak tunggal dan crankshaft. Analisa menggunakan teknik analisa spektrum dengan teori analisa FFT. dengan batasan karakteristik penelitian pada kondisi klep, oli, dan karburator tidak standar.

The thesis will analyze vibration that occured on motorcycle engine due to carburettor conditions, valve and non-standard oil, hardware or control using Data Acqusition (DAQ) card and software for vibration analysis using software labVIEW 8.5. Object that researched is motorcycle engine type of 125 CC, gasoline fueled that have a kind of cylinder and a piston, a camshaft called SOHC (Single Overhead Camshaft) using single wheel chain and crankshaft. The analysis using spectrum analysis techniques by theory analysis of FFT. With research characteristic restriction on valve conditions, oil, and non-standard carburettor."
