Abstrak :
Skripsi ini akan membahas mengenai subjek yang eksis dan hubungannya dengan keputusan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menunjukkan adanya relasi interdependensi yang terjadi antara seorang subjek dan orang lain yang menjadi landasan penting dalam eksistensialisme Jean Paul Sartre. Relasi interdependensi akan memberi dampak pada keputusan yang dibuat oleh seorang subjek, karena subjek yang eksis tidak akan lepas dari pengaruh orang-orang yang pernah terlibat dalam pengalamannya. Hal ini terjadi karena orang lain merupakan salah satu unsur pembentuk faktisitas manusia. ......This thesis will talk about an exist subject and its relation with decision. The purpose of this research is to show an interdependent relation between the Self and the Other who became Jean Paul Sartre’s base of existentialism. The interdependence relationships will have an impact on decisions made by a subject, because the subject would not exist apart from the influence of the Other who have been involved in the experience. This happens because the Other is one of the elements forming man’s facticity.

Abstrak :
This paper is an autoethnographic exploration which would like to show that culture is always in the process of constructing those that are present in various track events. Through the exposure of various stages of life and moments of encounters with Others, the author wants to confirm his argument on how culture is an arena of discourses that is continually constructed, in which also involves power relations between Self and Others. Using Abu Lughod?s approach and several contributions from philosophical thinking, the author would like to state that the theoretical journey and life trajectory is a continuity which shows the fundamental argument, that culture is an arena of contestation that is based on power relations between the self and the Other.

Abstrak :
Peristiwa Bom Casabalanca 2003 telah menandai babak baru bagi perkembangan Islam di Maroko. Citra Maroko sebagai negara Islam yang toleran dan moderat menjadi dipertanyakan, karena kehadiran ancaman dari kelompok fundamentalisme Islam tersebut. Menyikapi hal itu, Maroko melalui Raja Mohammad VI memutuskan untuk mereformasi wacana keagamaan di Maroko. Reformasi keagamaan yang dicanangkan pada tahun 2004 itu dilaksanakan dengan menanamkan identitas Islam Maroko yang berlandaskan pada mahzab fikih Maliki, teologi Asyariah, dan sufisme Islam. Sufisme Islam dalam hal ini menjadi fondasi utama dalam Islam Maroko dan menjadi wacana keIslaman yang gencar dipromosikan. Sufisme Islam dipandang memiliki nilai-nilai toleran, kedamaian, dan kasih sayang yang dapat menjadi penawar atas kehadiran ide-ide fundamentalisme Islam yang menganggu citra Maroko sebagai negara Islam yang toleran dan moderat. Untuk itu, tulisan ini melakukan analisis wacana terhadap promosi sufisme Islam dalam reformasi keagamaan Maroko, dilihat dari sejarah perkembangan keIslaman di Maroko serta konstruksi identitas nasional yang dilakukan oleh negara. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis wacana, tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana sufisme Islam diperkenalkan oleh negara melalui konstruksi self dan other dalam identitas Islamnya untuk menangkal wacana fundamentalisme Islam di Maroko. ......The Casabalanca Bombing incident 2003 marked a new chapter for the development of Islam in Morocco. The image of Morocco as a tolerant and moderate Islamic country is being questioned because of the threat posed by this Islamic fundamentalist group. In response to this, Morocco through King Mohammad VI decided to reform religious discourse in Morocco. The religious reforms launched in 2004 were implemented by instilling a Moroccan Islamic identity based on the Maliki jurisprudence school, Asyariah theology and Islamic Sufism. In this case, Islamic Sufism has become the main foundation in Moroccan Islam and has become an Islamic discourse that has been intensively promoted. Islamic Sufism is seen as having values of tolerance, peace, and compassion which can be an antidote to the presence of Islamic fundamentalism ideas that disturb the image of Morocco as a tolerant and moderate Islamic state. For this reason, this paper analyzes discourse on the promotion of Islamic Sufism in Moroccan religious reform, seen from the history of Islamic development in Morocco and the construction of a national identity carried out by the state. By using the method of discourse analysis, this paper aims to see how Islamic sufism is introduced by the state through the construction of self and other in its Islamic identity to counteract the discourse of Islamic fundamentalism in Morocco.
