"Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menemukan model peningkatan self regulated Iearning siswa di sekolah favorit. Penelitian ini dilakukan di sekolah-sekolah favorit di kota Semarang dengan pertimbangan bahwa sejumlah atribut variabel yang menjadi fokus kajian dalam penelitian ini lebih mudah diperoleh ketimbang di sekolah-sekolah umum. Sekolah favorit menjadi sentrum perhatian dalam penelitian ini mengingat bahwa meskipun jumlahnya kecil sedikit namun dalam kenyataanya sekolah favorit memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap sekolah-sekolah lain khususnya dalam hal praktek pembelajaran.
Meskipun keberadaannya banyak mengundang kontroversi namun apa yang dilakukan sekolah favorit sering ditiru oleh sekolah Iain. Kehadiran sekolah favorit menjadi trends setter bagi sekolah lain karena kenyataannya sekolah-sekolah favorit memberikan kontribusi yang besar terhadap usaha pengembangan sumber daya mansula. Siswa-slswa yang berada dl sekolah favorit umumnya siswa yang berbakat yang dapat dipahami sebagai anugerah Tuhan dan anugerah alam (Semiawan, 2000) dan jika mendapatkan layanan pendidikan yang bagus maka mereka bisa disebut anugerah dari pengasuhan.
Pertanyaan dasar penenltiian ini adalah: a. Bagaimanakah model hubungan struktural antar variabel penelitian yang tepat yang bisa mendeskripsikan peningkatan self regulated learning siswa; b. Seberapa besar sumbangan masing-masing variabel eksogen terhadap variabel endogen ? Dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik LISREL saya melakukan pengujian terhadap model hubungan struktural antar variabel sekaligus menguji sembilan hipotesis yang diajukan sesuai konstruk terotitik yang disusun.
Hasil analisis data menggunakan LISREL menunjukkan bahwa diantara variabel penelitian yang dikaji mebuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran konstruktivistik yang dihayati siswa dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan variabel yang memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap terbentuknya self regulated Iearning siswa. Hal ini berarti untuk sampel penelitian siswa di sekolah favorit bentuk hubungan struktural antar variabel yang signifikan positif adalah model pembelajaran konstruktivisme dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang mampu meningkatkan self regulated Iearning siswa.
Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa ternyata kekuatan utama yang dimiliki oleh sekolah favorit (SMA) adalah kemampuannnya dalam meningkatkan self regulated Iearning melalui proses pembelajaran yang bersifat konstruktivlstik dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa.
Kontribusi yang esensial dari temuan penelitian ini untuk dunia pendidikan dan pengembangan sumberdaya manusia adalah bagaimana seharusnya pendidikan membentuk individu-individu yang memiliki karakteristik mampu mengelola diri sendiri dalam belajar (self regulated learning) yang akhirnya mampu menjadi pribadi yang otonom dan authentic sehingga mampu mengembangkan potensi keberbakatan yang dimiliki. lndividu yang memiliki self regulated learning tinggi akan dapat membebaskan diri dari sikap benci dan permusuhan serta terbebas dari kecenderungan suka menyalahkan orang lain.
Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, dapat diajukan rekomendasi sebagai berikut: 1) sangat penting untuk bisa mengembangkan desain proses pembelajaran khususnya yang bersifat konstruktivistik dan kaya rangsang emosional sehinga mampu menumbuhkan self regulated learning siswa. 2) sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam diri siswa melalui desain pembelajaran konstruktivism sebagai usaha untuk meningkatkan Self regulated learning siswa. 3). Diperlukan penelitian lanjutan untuk menguji seberapa kuat model yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini dengan melibatkan sampel yang lebih luas bukan hanya di SMA favorit saja. 4). Diperlukan orientasi ideologi baru dalam praksis pendidikan dengan maksud untuk membangun karakter individu yang bercirikan self regulated Ieamlng ketimbang pemerolehan pengetahuan siap pakai secara instan.

This study was aimed at inventing a proposed model to enhance students' self-regulated learning at favorite schools. The study was conducted at favorite schools with respect to the fact that the number of attributes to be studied was more abundant and easily available than those in common schools. Favorite schools have challenging magnitude to explore in spite of the fact that they are small in number, however, their influence is very dominant in addressing determinant changes of teaming practices.
Although they have called for controversies, they have been much imitated by other schools. Their presence has been a trend setter for changes at other public schools; what is more, their contribution to human resources development is factual. At such schools, the students, regarded as a giit of God or gifi of nature (Semiawan, 200), and when given excellent education, deserve the label ofa gin of nurture.
The fundamental questions of the study are: a) what is the model of the structured relationship among appropriate and significant variables under study like? b) how big is the contribution of each exogenous variables to the endogenous ones' By applying the statistical analysis technique of LISREL, I conducted a test on the structural equation model of interrelated variables by way of examining nine proposed hypotheses compatible with the proposed theoretical construct.
The result of the data analysis based on LISREL technique proves that the really significant predicted contribution to the variety of self-regulated Ieaming is the constructivism leaming as perceived by the students besides their creative thinking competency. It means that for the sampled students of favorite schools, the form of the appropriate structural equation is the leaming processes which are perceived by students as the eonstructivism leaming and creative thinking competency contributive to the self-regulated learning style.
It is, therefore, obvious that one of the strong points possessed by favorite senior public schools is their capacity to enhance students self-regulated learning through the teaming processes perceived as constructivism teaming style and creative thinking competency of the students.
The essential contribution to education for the sake of human resources development is to shape individuals characterized by their highly acquired self-regulated teaming so that they become autonomous and authentic individuals capable to actualize their giiied potentials. Individuals with highly self-regulated learning possess high self-esteem alike so that they are free from hostile attitude and tendency to blame other people.
Based on the research findings, the following recommendations are offered here: 1) it is important to design learning processes, especially the constructivism one due to its rich emotional stimulation so as to generate students' self-regulated leaming. 2) It is important to enhance students? creativity through the constructivism leaming style so as to generate basal development for self-regulated learning. 3) It is necessary to conduct a further study to test the rigor of this discovered model by involving a wider sample size not only from favorite schools. 4) It is necessary to orient the ideological, educational praxis to attempts of individual character building featured with self-regulated learning rather than acquired knowledge ready for instant use.
