"ABSTRAK
Kehadiran anak yang menderita kanker menyebabkan perhatian orang tua terhadap sibling berkurang. Sibling berisiko untuk mengalami masalah perkembangan emosi dan perilaku. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk
mengeksplorasi pengalaman sibling dari anak yang menderita kanker. Penelitian
ini menggunakan studi fenomenologi deskriptif, jumlah partisipan 8 dan rentang
usia 8-18 tahun. Data diperoleh dengan wawancara mendalam. Teknik analisis
menggunakan analisis Colaizzi. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan 6 tema: mengalami
proses berduka, perubahan kehidupan sibling, respon psikologis mendalam,
dimensi kebutuhan sibling, mekanisme koping, dan harapan sibling. Kurangnya
perhatian dan informasi yang diberikan kepada sibling sebaiknya menjadi
perhatian perawat. Perawat diharapkan tidak hanya berfokus pada anak yang sakit
dan orang tuanya tetapi juga sibling.

ABSTRACT
The presence of children with cancer causes the reduction of parents? attention of
siblings and shown to be at risk for emotional development and behavioural
problems. The objective is to explore the experience of siblings of children with
cancer. This research used descriptive phenomenological study, with eight
siblings aged between 8-18 years. Data is colected by indepth interview. This
research used Colaizzi analysis. The results give six themes: experiencing
grieving process, changing lives, indepth psychological response, the dimensions
of needs, coping mechanisms, and expectations. Lack of attention and information
should be part of nurses? attention and expected not only focus on the sick
children and their parents but also with siblings."

"[ABSTRAK
Konflik antar saudara kandung merupakan hal yang sering terjadi pada rentang usia dini. Sebagai individu yang memiliki tanggung jawab dalam kepengasuhan anak, seorang ibu diharapkan dapat ikut membantu menyelesaikan konflik antar saudara kandung dengan strategi yang positif. Pada kenyataannya, strategi yang digunakan ibu masih bersifat negatif, sehingga tidak memberikan kesempatan pada anak untuk mengembangkan keterampilan dalam menyelesaikan sebuah konflik. Terdapat sebuah strategi yang lebih positif yang dapat digunakam oleh ibu untuk menangani konflik antar saudara kandung. Strategi ini dinamakan dengan mediasi.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pelatihan mediasi konflik yang diberikan kepada ibu dalam meningkatkan kemampuan (pengetahuan dan keterampilan) untuk menangani konflik antar saudara kandung pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one group pretest ? posttest design. Alat ukur yang digunakan terdiri dari kuesioner untuk mengukur pengetahuan ibu mengenai konflik dan mediasi serta behavioral rating scale untuk mengukur keterampilan ibu dalam menangani konflik.
Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan teknik paired sample t-test menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada kemampuan ibu dalam menangani konflik antar saudara kandung, dengan taraf signifikansi p < 0,05. Hasil follow up yang dilakukan setelah pelatihan menunjukkan perubahan strategi ibu dalam menangani konflik antar saudara kandung menjadi lebih positif.

"Kecerdasan emosional merupakan salah satu keterampilan penting yang dimiliki individu karena dapat membantu seseorang berfungsi dengan baik pada lingkup personal, sosial, dan profesional. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi perkembangan dan tingkat kecerdasan emosional individu adalah keluarga, yang merupakan tempat pertama individu mempelajari berbagai interaksi sosial. Keberadaan anak dengan spektrum autisme (SA) dalam keluarga dapat memberikan pengaruh pada interaksi antar anggota keluarga yang pada akhirnya mempengaruhi tingkat kecerdasan emosional individu. Studi ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran keberfungsian keluarga terhadap tingkat kecerdasan emosional saudara kandung dari anak dengan SA. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan strategi noneksperimental yang menggunakan alat ukur Family Assesment Device (FAD) untuk mengukur keberfungsian keluarga dan alat ukur Trait Emotional Intelligence Short-Form (TEIQue-SF) untuk mengukur kecerdasan emosional. Kedua alat ukur disebarkan melalui google form dan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling untuk memperoleh partisipan. Total partisipan penelitian adalah 136 remaja akhir dan dewasa muda yang memiliki rentang umur antara 18 – 35 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil ANOVA, diperoleh hasil bahwa keberfungsian keluarga secara signifikan dapat memprediksi tingkat kecerdasan emosional saudara kandung dari anak dengan SA (R 2=0,372, p<0,05). Namun demikian, berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis regresi linear berganda, ditemukan bahwa hanya ada satu dari keenam dimensi keberfungsian keluarga yang secara signifikan dapat memprediksi tingkat kecerdasan emosional saudara kandung dari anak dengan SA. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan kondisi intrapersonal saudara kandung, keluarga dapat menerapkan strategi komunikasi terbuka dan efektif untuk dapat meningkatkan tingkat kecerdasan emosional saudara kandung dari anak dengan SA.

Emotional intelligence is one of the most important components that one should have as it can affect many areas of someone’s personal, social, and professional life. Family situations and climate, acting as the first environment for the children to learn social situations, have a significant role of the development of one’s emotional and social intelligence. The existence of a child with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) can have many effects on the family interaction and communication, and later on affecting one’s level of emotional intelligence. Due to that, this quantitative study explored the role of family functioning in predicting emotional intelligence in 136 siblings of children with ASD between the age of 18 – 35 years from Indonesia. The questionnaires used on assessing family functioning is Family Functioning Device (FAD) and Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire-Short Form to measure emotional intelligence, which were distributed via google form and used the technique of convenience sampling to gain the participants. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed a significant relationship between family functioning and emotional intelligence (R2= 0,372, p<0,05) where only one of the family functioning dimensions, which is communication, significantly predicts the level of emotional intelligence in siblings of children with ASD. The higher the family functioning, the higher the emotional intelligence among siblings of children with ASD. The findings disclose deeper understanding of family functioning and the sibling’s intrapersonal condition, which is emotional intelligence, and have implications for parents to administer open and strategic communication within the family to furtherly heightened the sibling’s emotional intelligence level."

"ABSTRAK
Saudara kandung (sibling) dari anak penyandang disabilitas fisik dan atau
intelektual merupakan anak yang rentan terhadap berbagai masalah baik fisik,
psikis maupun sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi secara
mendalam pengalaman sibling dari anak penyandang disabilitas fisik dan atau
intelektual. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, jumlah
partisipan 8 orang, usia 9-23 tahun. Analisis data menggunakan metode Colaizzi
dan menghasilkan enam tema penelitian yaitu: 1) Mengenal kecacatan yang
dialami saudara kandungnya, 2) penerimaan sibling terhadap kecacatan saudara
kandungnya, 3) sibling sebagai pengasuh saudara kandungnya yang cacat, 4)
hubungan keseharian sibling dan saudara kandungnya, 5) respon lingkungan
terhadap sibling dan kecacatan saudara kandungnya, 6) harapan sibling terhadap
saudara kandungnya yang cacat. Pengalaman sibling merupakan bagian penting
dan dapat digunakan sebagai acuan untuk melakukan asuhan yang berpusat pada
keluarga. Berdasarkan temuan tema pada penelitian ini perawat diharapkan dapat
meningkatkan asuhan yang berpusat pada keluarga dengan melibatkan orang tua
secara penuh, termasuk sibling

ABSTRACT
Siblings of children with physical and/ or intellectual disabilities are children are susceptible to a
variety of problems, either physical, psychological or social. The purpose of this study is to
explore in depth experience sibling of a child with disabilities or physical and intellectual.
Fenomology a qualitative research approach, the number of participants 8 people, age range 9-23

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menguji efektivitas buku saku dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu terkait mempersiapkan anak pertama menjadi seorang kakak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-test and post-test design kepada lima orang partisipan yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Karakteristik partisipan yaitu ibu yang sedang mengandung anak kedua dan memiliki anak pertama berusia 2-3 tahun. Metode wawancara dipakai sebagai metode pengambilan data. Isi dari buku saku ini terdiri dari lima tips untuk mempersiapkan anak pertama menjadi seorang kakak, yaitu: 1) mengajak anak pertama mengikuti kelas prenatal, 2) diskusi tentang kehamilan dan bayi, 3) mengajak anak pertama ikut serta saat ibu memeriksakan kandungan ke dokter/bidan, 4) membacakan buku cerita tentang kelahiran bayi, dan 5) merasakan gerakan bayi di dalam perut ibu. Hasil analisa statistik wilcoxon signed ranks menunjukkan bahwa buku saku secara efektif dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu terkait mempersiapkan anak pertama menjadi seorang kakak.

The content of this booklet consists of five tips to prepare the firstborn to be elder sibling, which are: 1) to engage firstborn to attend prenatal class, 2) to have discussion about pregnancy and babies, 3) to engage their firstborn to come along with mother when they are having prenatal check-up with their obestetricians, 4) to read along with their firstborn about childbirth, and 5) to feel the baby?s movement in utero. "Keluarga dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus seperti Gangguan Spektrum Autisme, sering dikaitkan dengan peran keluarga yang besar dalam menjaga tumbuh kembang mereka, termasuk membantu anak berkomunikasi, berinteraksi, serta melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari. Tentunya dalam membantu anak dengan spektrum autisme untuk tumbuh dan berkembang tidaklah mudah, orang tua sebagai pengasuh utama sering dikaitkan dengan kondisi psikologis yang lebih buruk dibandingkan dengan orang tua dengan anak yang normal. Saudara kandung sebagai anggota keluarga juga mengalami tingkat stress yang tinggi dalam menghadapi aktivitas sehari-hari dan juga menghadapi tekanan lingkungan sosial ketika mereka bersama saudara kandung dengan spektrum autisme. Oleh karenanya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan keberfungsian keluarga dengan distres psikologis pada saudara kandung dari anak dengan spektrum autisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dan menggunaka Teknik nonprobability sampling yang berhasil menyaring 136 partisipan penelitian. Keberfungsian keluarga diukur dengan Family Assessment Device (FAD) yang terdiri dari 60. Sementara distress psikologis diukur dengan General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12) yang terdiri dari 12 item. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 136 partisipan dengan rentang usia 18-35. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dimensi dimensi Penyelesaian Masalah, dimensi Komunikasi dimensi Peran, dimensi Responsivitas Afektif,dan dimensi Keberfungsian Keluarga secara Umum berkorelasi negatif secara signifikan dengan  distres psikologis. Sedangkan dimensi Kontrol perilaku tidak berkorelasi dengan Distres Psikologis.

Families with children with special needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, are often associated with a large family role in maintaining their growth and development, including helping children communicate, interact, and perform daily activities. Of course, helping children with the autism spectrum to grow and develop is not easy, parents as primary caregivers are often associated with worse psychological conditions than parents with normal children. Siblings as family members also experience high levels of stress in dealing with daily activities and also face pressure from the social environment when they are with siblings on the autism spectrum. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the relationship between family functioning and psychological distress in siblings of children with autism spectrum. This study used a quantitative design and used a non-probability sampling technique that successfully screened 136 participants. Family functioning was measured by the Family Assessment Device (FAD), which consisted of 60. Meanwhile, psychological distress was measured by the General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12) which consisted of 12 items. The participants of this study were 136 participants with an age range of 18-35. The results of this study indicate that the dimensions of Problem Solving, Communication dimensions, Role dimensions, Affective Responsiveness dimensions, Affective Involvement dimensions, and Family Functioning dimensions in general have a significant negative correlation with psychological distress. While the behavioral control dimension is not correlated with Psychological Distress."

"Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk untuk memahami dan mengeksplorasi secara mendalam persepsi orang tua terhadap hubungan anak Gangguan Spektrum Autisme (GSA) dengan saudara kandung tipikal, serta upaya mereka dalam mengelola hubungan tersebut. Penelitian ini melibatkan enam partisipan orang tua yang setidaknya memiliki satu anak kandung terdiagnosa GSA dan setidaknya satu anak kandung dengan perkembangan tipikal di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur yang berlangsung selama 60-90 menit untuk menggali pengalaman pribadi dan sudut pandang partisipan mengenai interaksi sehari-hari anak tipikal dengan saudara kandungnya yang memiliki GSA. Analisis tematik digunakan untuk menganalisis temuan wawancara yang mengungkapkan lima tema utama: pengalaman pasca diagnosis saudara kandung, hubungan saudara kandung, dampak kondisi GSA terhadap saudara kandung, dukungan orang tua, dan harapan dan ekspektasi orang tua di masa depan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menghasilkan implikasi klinis yang menekankan pentingnya program intervensi anak GSA yang melibatkan saudara kandung, serta ketersediaan dukungan psikologis untuk saudara kandung dan orang tua dari anak GSA.

The aim of this research is to understand and explore in depth parents' perceptions of the quality of their children's relationships with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) with typical siblings, as well as their efforts in managing these relationships. This research involved six parent participants who had at least one biological child diagnosed with GSA and at least one biological child with typical development in Indonesia. Using a qualitative methodology approach, data was collected through semi-structured interviews lasting 60-90 minutes, exploring participants' personal experiences and perspectives regarding the daily interactions of typical children with their autistic siblings. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the interview findings, revealing five main themes: post-diagnosis experiences, quality of sibling relationships, impact of ASD towards siblings, parental support for siblings, and parental hopes for the future. The results of this study reveal clinical implications that assert the importance of interventions for children with ASD that involve siblings, as well as the availability of psychological support for siblings and parents of children with ASD.

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh kemiskinan dan faktor
sosial demografi lainnya terhadap keterlambatan usia masuk sekolah dasar
menggunakan data 6.068 anak SD kelas 1 dari Susenas tahun 2012. Hasil regresi
logistik biner menunjukkan bahwa kemiskinan memiliki pengaruh signifikan
terhadap keterlambatan usia masuk sekolah dasar. Ditemukan pula bahwa faktor
terkuat yang memengaruhi keterlambatan usia masuk sekolah dasar adalah
pendidikan ibu dan variabel jenis kelamin, urutan anak, dan komposisi jenis
kelamin saudara kandung tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterlambatan
usia masuk sekolah dasar. Positifnya pengaruh kemiskinan terhadap
kecenderungan anak untuk terlambat usia masuk sekolah dasar mengindikasikan
bahwa keterbatasan angggaran pendidikan merupakan salah satu alasan orangtua
terlambat mendaftarkan anaknya di sekolah dasar.

order, and sibling sex composition has no effect on children?s late enrollment. The
results imply that poverty limits the household?s ability to enroll their children in
