"Laporan ini dituliskan untuk mengetahui permasalahan pada sistem informasi siklus pendapatan Perusahaan MPLS, serta kesesuaian prosedur yang dilakukan KAP PQRS dengan PQRS Global Audit Methodology ndash; Reviu Pengendalian Internal, serta Global Technology Audit Guide 8 GTAG 8 ndash; Auditing Application Control. Personil KAP PQRS menemukan empat belas permasalahan pada sistem informasi siklus pendapatan MPLS, yang berfokus pada application control. Penulis menemukan perbedaan antara prosedur yang dilakukan personil KAP PQRS dengan PQRS Global Audit Methodology. Perbedaan ini disebabkan karena PQRS Global Audit Methodology adalah pedoman untuk melakukan audit keuangan, sedangkan penugasan ini adalah penugasan jasa konsultasi tetapi pelaksanaannya mengacu pada pedoman tersebut. Penulis juga menemukan perbedaan urutan proses pada GTAG 8 dan pada penugasan ini. Perbedaan ini timbul karena penugasan ini diawali dengan analisa permasalahan, dan kemudian mengkaji risiko yang mungkin muncul dari permasalahan yang ditemukan.

This report was written to identify problems with the information system used in revenue cycle of MPLS company, as well as the suitability of procedures conducted by the KAP PQRS with the PQRS Global Audit Methodology Guidance ndash Internal Control Review, and Global Technology Audit Guide 8 GTAG 8 Auditing Application Control. Personnel of KAP PQRS found fourteen problems in the information system used in MPLS's revenue cycle, which focuses on application control.

The authors found the difference between the procedures performed by KAP PQRS personnel and PQRS Global Audit Methodology. This difference is happened because PQRS Global Audit Methodology is a guideline for conducting financial audits, while this assignment is the assignment of consulting services but the implementation refers to the guidelines.

The authors also found differences in sequence of processes in GTAG 8 and on this assignment. This difference arises because this assignment begins with problem analysis, and then examines the risks that may arise from the problems found. "
