Revenge pornography menjadi isu baru yang pada dewasa ini makin mudah terjadi karena mudahnya akses ke internet. Walaupun bentuk dari revenge pornography berbeda dari kekerasan seksual konvensional, dampak dan konsekuensi yang ditimbulkan sama besarnya dari kekerasan seksual lainnya. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kualitatif yang dilakukan pada empat wanita penyintas revenge pornography untuk melihat pengalaman subjektif penyintas revenge pornography mengenai dampak dan upaya penyintas untuk memulihkan dampak psikologis yang diterima karena revenge pornography. Hasil pada penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa pelaku revenge pornography yang dialami tiga dari empat subjek adalah pacar atau mantan pacar subjek, keempat subjek mengalami dampak psikologis akibat revenge pornography yang dialamil, serta coping mechanism yang dilakukan para subjek umumnya berbentuk avoidance. ......Revenge pornography is becoming a new issue which nowadays is getting easier due to technological developments. Although the form of revenge pornography is different from conventional sexual violence, the impact and consequences are just as great as any other form of sexual violence. This research is a qualitative study conducted on four women survivors of revenge pornography to see the subjective experiences of survivors of revenge pornography regarding the impact and efforts of survivors to recover the psychological impact received due to revenge pornography. The results of this study found that the perpetrators of revenge pornography experienced by three of the four subjects were the subject's boyfriend or ex-boyfriend, the four subjects experienced psychological impacts due to the revenge pornography experienced, and the coping mechanism used by the subjects was generally in the form of avoidance.
