Abstrak :
Skripsi ini membahas pemanfaatan rubrik resensi buku yang ada di media massa, terutama surat kabar sebagai alat bantu seleksi untuk pengadaan koleksi di pusat data harian umum Republika dan kantor berita nasional ANTARA. Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa kedua perpustakaan memanfaatkan rubrik resensi yang ada di surat kabar sebagai alat bantu dan sumber informasi pemilihan bahan pustaka; surat kabar yang banyak digunakan adalah Kompas dan majalah Tempo; pola pemanfaatan yang dibuat pusat data dan informasi ANTARA dengan pembuatan acuan pemilihan resensi dengan penggunaan kliping koran berupa resensi buku, sedangkan di pusat data HU republika menggunakan pemilihan secara sederhana dengan melihat kesesuaian kebutuhan yang diinginkan.

The Focus of this study discusses the utilization rubric of book review is in the mass media, especially newspapers as a selection aids for acquisitions in the library of Republika and library of National News Agency ANTARA. Research used the qualitative method with case study approach. From the results of the research note that the two libraries using the rubric of book review in the newspaper as selection aids and a source of election information for library materials; newspaper that is widely used Kompas and Tempo magazine, which made the pattern of ANTARA library was making reference to the election review with the use of newspaper clippings as reviewer, while in Library of Republika election simply by looking at the suitability of the desired needs.

Cees Nooteboom adalah seorang sastrawan hebat dari Belanda. Pada Premio Formentor de las Letras tahun 2020 dari Spanyol, dewan juri mengatakan bahwa Cees Nooteboom memiliki sikap filosofis sebagai seorang penulis. Dalam penilaian lain yang diberikan oleh pembacanya, dikatakan bahwa Cees Nooteboom mengalami kesulitan untuk mempertahankan nilai realisme di dalam karya-karyanya. Penelitian ini membahas resepsi pembaca mengenai karya sastra Cees Nooteboom tahun 2016-2020 yang ditinjau dari resensi pembacanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk nilai realisme dan eksistensialisme yang terdapat pada tiga karya Cees Nooteboom yang terbit pada tahun 2016-2020, yakni 533: Een dagenbook (2016), Venetië (2018), dan Afscheid (2020). Metode deskriptif kualitatif dipilih untuk menjadi metode penelitian ini dengan teori resepsi karya sastra dari Abrams (1981). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa bentuk nilai realisme ditemukan dalam resensi novel Venetië dan puisi Afscheid. Pembaca memahami nilai realisme yang dihadirkan Cees Nooteboom berdasarkan dari pengalaman hidup yang telah dilalui oleh Cees Nooteboom. Sementara itu, bentuk nilai eksistensialisme ditemukan dalam resensi novel 533: Een dagenbook. Pembaca memahami nilai eksistensialisme yang dihadirkan Cees Nooteboom berlandaskan dari pertanyaan-pertanyaan filosofi yang diajukan Cees Nooteboom dalam novel 533: Een dagenbook. ......Cees Nooteboom is a great writer from the Netherlands. At the 2020 Premio Formentor de las Letras from Spain, the judges said that Cees Nooteboom had a philosophical attitude as a writer. In another assessment given by her readers, it was said that Cees Nooteboom had difficulty maintaining the value of realism in her works. This study discusses readers' receptions of Cees Nooteboom's literary works 2016-2020 in terms of reader reviews. This study aims to determine the form of realism and existentialism values found in three of Cees Nooteboom's works published in 2016-2020, namely 533: Een dagenbook (2016), Venetië (2018), and Afscheid (2020). The method used is descriptive qualitative method with the theory of literary reception introduced by Teeuw. The results showed that the form of realism value was found in the reviews of the novel and the poem Afscheid. Readers understand the value of realism presented by Cees Nooteboom based on the life experiences that Cees Nooteboom has gone through. Meanwhile, the value of existentialism is found in the review of the novel 533: Een dagenbook. Readers understand the value of existentialism presented by Cees Nooteboom based on the philosophical questions asked by Cees Nooteboom in the novel 533: Een dagenbook.

Skripsi ini menganalisis apresiasi netizen terhadap film Spijt! dan Pijnstillers dari novel karya Carry Slee. Delapan resensi menjadi korpus dimuat dalam media elektronik khusus film dan umum Belanda. Penilaian Boonstra (1979) dan De Moor (2003) dipadukan untuk memperlihatkan aspek penilaian yang paling disorot oleh peresensi. Penilaian yang mendominasi di kedua jenis media adalah penilaian objektif. Dalam media umum, pencermatan terhadap penokohan menjadi sorotan sedangkan media khusus film tidak memusatkan penilaian atas aspek tertentu yang menjadi bagian komposisi film.

ABSTRACT
This thesis analyzes the appreciation that is given by netizen towards Spijt! and Pijnstillers which are the result of adaptation in Carry Slee?s novels. Eight reviews are published in special electronic media for films and general media in the Netherlands. Boonstra?s (1979) and De Moor?s arguments (2003) are combined to show the most highlighted aspect of the judgement. It is found that the objective assessment dominate both media. Reviews in the general media put more focus on characterization while reviews in exclusive films media are not focusing on any particular aspect.;

Tidaklah mudah untuk menemukan buku anak yang memuat aspek-aspek yang sesuai dengan usia anak-anak. Minoes merupakan karya yang sukses dan populer dari Annie M.G. Schmidt. Karya ini mendapat banyak unggahan resensi mengenai keistimewaannya. Hal ini dapat menggambarkan kualitas dari karya tersebut. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana penerimaan pembaca, baik di Indonesia maupun di Belanda, mengenai novel Minoes. Korpus penelitian ini berupa resensi novel Minoes dan terjemahannya yang terbit di Indonesia dan Belanda di situs resensi online Goodreads. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan dikaitkan dengan teori estetika resepsi sastra Jauss (1967). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa dari resepsi sastra yang terbit di Indonesia dan Belanda mengenai novel Minoes dan terjemahannya karya Annie M.G. Schmidt dapat memperlihatkan kualitas estetika dari novel ini yang terletak pada cerita yang dikemas dengan baik dan juga memuat aspek-aspek yang sesuai untuk anak-anak. ......It is not easy to find children's books that contain age-appropriate aspects. Minoes is a successful and popular work by Annie M.G. Schmidt. It has received many review posts about its features. This can illustrate the quality of the work. The focus of this research is to see how readers, both in Indonesia and the Netherlands, received the novel Minoes. The corpus of this research is the reviews of the novel Minoes and its translation published in Indonesia and the Netherlands on the online review site Goodreads. The method used is descriptive qualitative and is associated with Jauss' (1967) aesthetic theory of literary reception. The results show that from the literary receptions published in Indonesia and the Netherlands about the novel Minoes and its translation by Annie M.G. Schmidt can show the aesthetic quality of this novel which lies in a well-packaged story and also contains aspects that are suitable for children.

Skripsi ini membahas penerimaan pembaca terhadap novel. Penerimaan dilihat dari resensi novel yang dimuat di harian Kompas dan majalah Tempo tahun 2001?2005. Penelitian ini menunjukkan berbagai aspek dan permasalahan yang ditanggapi pembaca dalam sebuah novel. Selain itu, skripsi ini juga mengungkap pendekatan yang digunakan pembaca dalam usahanya menerima karya, serta kecenderungan-kecenedrungan yang muncul dari resensi-resensi di kedua media tersebut selama tahun 2001?2005. Berdasarkan analisis, didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa tema masih menjadi hal pokok yang ditanggapi oleh pembaca. Tema novel-novel yang muncul dalam kurun waktu tersebut adalah tema sosial, kemanusiaan, dan sosiokultural. Pendekatan yang paling banyak digunakan pembaca dalam usahanya menerima karya adalah pendekatan struktural. Adapun kecenderungan yang didapat adalah para pembaca cenderung pada penerimaan yang netral, bukan penerimaan positif atau pun negatif.

This thesis discusses reader reception of novel. The reception is based on novel reviews on Kompas daily and Tempo magazine in 2001?2005. This observation shows many aspects and issues that the reader responds in the novel. Beside, this thesis also shows the approach that the reader uses in responding the work and all emerging tendencies from the reviews in both media during that period. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that theme is the main discourse that being responded. Novel themes in that period are involving social aspect, humanity, and also socio-cultural tone. The readers most used approach in order to receive the work is structural approach. Last, the tendency found is that the readers tend to be neutral, not to show the positive or negative reception.

Dalam waktu dimana industri perfilman sudah menjadi bagian penting dari budaya populer, ada baiknya bila kita tidak meremehkan pentingnya media tersebut, yang sudah tertanam di kesadaran umum. Dengan menganalisa tema-tema yang berulang di film karya Christopher Nolan, karya ini bermaksud menyelidiki apabila tema dan pesan sebuah film terpancar pada penonton yang melihatnya, dan mungkin melihat seberapa besar pengaruhnya. Penelitian akan dilakukan melalui analisis terhadap resensi-resensi dari beberapa film Nolan dan melihat bila tema yang dibawakan konsisten dalam reaksi penonton. Dari temuan dan analisis, telah ditemukan data yang bisa dianggap suportif terhadap pandangan ini, konsisten dengan konsep-konsep yang diterangkan dalam teori paradigma naratif Robert Fisher, dan bagaimana kiasan sebuah film, dalam peranya sebagai sebuah naratif komunikasi, diterima oleh penonton. ...... In a time where the film industry is such a cornerstone of pop culture, we must not underestimate the socio-cultural significance of said media being so entrenched in the public consciousness. By analysing recurring themes in the works of film director Christopher Nolan, this paper aims to find out if a film’s themes and messages reached the audience that watches them, and perhaps even find to what degree they are influenced by it. Determining this will be done by collecting and analysing reviews of a selection of Nolan’s movies and noting if the themes Nolan intended were consistent or not in audience reactions. From the findings and analysis, there has been found data with possible supportive interpretations consistent with ideas outlined in Robert Fisher’s Narrative paradigm and how the conventions of a movie may affect how a film, in its role as a communicative narrative, is received.
