Abstrak :
ABSTRACT The energy crisis in the future will be a threat for human life. Many advancement of technology currently focus on creating something that perform better than its predecessor but consuming less power. LED lighting technology has been introduced as a breakthrough of technology which possesses big advantages over the other lighting technology. LED lighting technology is able to produce a high luminous flux with very low power consumption, and also lasts longer than others. By consuming lower power, hence the amount of energy being consumed in order to generate the same amount of light will be reduced, and hence, energy saving will happen. This undergraduate thesis discusses replacement analysis of lighting at classrooms at Engineering Center of Faculty of Engineering Universitas Indonesia. The analysis is in terms of illuminance aspect, power quality performance and cost, and it is done by replacing the existing CFL with three different options of LED lamp exist in the market with competitive price. The study suggests that using LED lamp as a replacement for CFL at classrooms at Engineering Center of Faculty of Engineering Universitas Indonesia is more efficient; consuming less energy by 42.86 , and moreover saving the electricity cost as well, from IDR 864,360 annually to IDR 493,920. A comparative analysis between the three different LED lamp options is also performed.

Perusahaan pelayaran yang menjadi objek penelitian dalam skripsi ini bergerak dalam bidang jasa transportasi laut, dalam hal ini jasa pengiriman barang dalam bentuk peti kemas (container).Dalam memenuhi permintaan konsumen (perusahaan yang mencarter kapal), perusahaan ini memiliki dua buah kapal laut kargo semi container untuk mengantar barang dari satu tujuan ke tujuan lain. Dengan bertambahnya umur kapal laut kargo semi container yang dimiliki perusahaan tersebut, maka banyak pula permasalahan yang timbul, salah satunya yaitu permasalahan mesin kapal. Mesin kapal laut kargo pada umumnya memiliki umur ekonomis sekitar dua puluh lima sampai tiga puluh tahun, namun didalam kenyataannya tidak banyak mesin kapal yang dapat beroperasi selama itu. Hal tersebut bisa diakibatkan oleh maintenance atau perawatan mesin yang tidak sesuai dengan prosedur, atau pihak maintenance yang sengaja mengabaikan prosedur-prosedur pemeliharaan demi mendapatkan keuntungan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka dilakukan analisa penggantian mesin kapal dengan Ilmu Ekonomi Teknik menggunakan metode Annual Equivalen. Pada penelitian ini, kenapa menggunakan metode Annual Equivalen, karena metode ini dianggap cukup efektif dan akurat terhadap perhitungan yang menggunakan dua investasi dengan umur sisa yang berbeda. Langkah selanjutnya yaitu dengan menghitung Annual Equivalen dari mulai penggantian yang dilakukan saat ini sampai dengan penggantian sepuluh tahun kemudian. Dengan demikian maka dapat diketahui waktu yang tepat untuk melakukan penggantian. ......Sea transport company that becoming research object in this study make a move in the field of sea transportation service, in this case service delivery of goods in the form of container. To fulfill request of consumer, this company have two semi cargo boat of container to deliver goods from one target to other target. By increasing semi cargo boat age that had by the company, hence there are also many problems of arising out, one of them that is a problems of motorship. Cargo ship machine in general have economic age about twenty five until thirty year, but in reality not many motorship able to operate during that. The mentioned can be resulted from the maintenance or treatment of machine which disagree with procedure, or the maintenance department which intend to disregard conservancy procedures for the shake of getting large of profit. Consider of that problems, hence to analyse engine replacement of the ship with Economics Technique use method of Annual Equivalen. This method is assumed effective enough accurate and to calculation using two invesment with different remains age. The next step is by counting and calculating Annual Equivalen from strarting replacement in this time up to replacement ten years later. Thereby hence can know by right time to do replacement.

Penyediaan biaya investasi yang tinggi untuk memenuhi jaringan komunikasi nirkabel yang handal dengan kapasitas yang besar merupakan salah satu tantangan bagi operator telekomunikasi saat ini. Pemanfaatan alokasi bandwith frekuensi secara efisien dan optimal merupakan salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi biaya investasi yang tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu melakukan kajian analisa kelayakan biaya CAPEX dan OPEX skema Refarming Frekuensi dengan metode Replacement Analysis (RA) sesuai dengan tingkat presentase pertumbuhan pelanggan nirkabel layanan voice dan data (2012-2017) pada salah satu operator telekomunikasi di Indonesia. Metode kajian penelitian adalah melakukan kajian analisa kelayakan metode replacement Analysis (RA) untuk mengoptimasi kapasitas jaringan skema re-farming frekuensi dengan menggunakan empat skenario implementasi, yaitu 2G/3G collocation, 2G/3G/LTE collocation, 3G/LTE collocation, dan LTE (JBS). Kesimpulan dari penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu setelah dilakukan kajian analisa kelayakan menggunakan metode Replacement Analysis (RA), skema Refarming Frekuensi merupakan salah satu solusi bagi operator telekomunikasi di Indonesia dalam melakukan optimasi kapasitas jaringan nirkabel eksisting (2G dan 3G) dan jaringan baru (LTE) yang handal dan dapat direkomendasikan sknario implementasi LTE karena biaya CAPEX dan OPEX yang dikeluarkan lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan tiga scenario implementasi yang lainnya (2G/3G collocation, 2G/3G/LTE collocation, dan 3G/LTE collocation).
