"The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of ant (hypertensive agents with different degrees of renal excretion lisinopril (L) eliminated in the kidney and fosinopril (F), only 50% of which is eliminated through the kidney on renal function in hypertension patients with mild to moderate renal failure.Materials and methods: Patients were divided into two groups. The first group was given F 10 mg/day and the second group was given L 10 mg/day. Groups were divided randomly, and drugs were given for 6 weeks each night at 8.00p.m. The hypertension status of each subject was determined from systolic blood pressureJ140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure -f 90 mg/dl. Subjects were both male and female, with an age range of 18- 65 years old.Results: The results from the creatinine examination of the 10 mgF group was (3.06 ±0.97) mg/dl after drug use, which showed no decrease in renal function. The difference was insignificant (p=0.17). The 10 mgL group the creatinine level was (3.22 ±0.17), where as in the 10 mg L group the creatinine level was (3.22 ± 0.75) mg/dl before the use of the drug and (4.11 ± 2.14) mg/dl after the use of the drug respectively. There was no worsening of the renal function, which did not differ significantly (p=0.11). There was a significant difference (p < 0.05) in the creatinine level of the 10 mg F and 10 mg L groups. The serum creatinine level before and after treatment did show any significant changes at. 6 week. However, the serum creatinine profile over 6 week was more significant in the F group than in the L groups."

"Penggunaan jamu pelangsing “SF” yang merupakan kombinasi dari Phaseolus vulgaris, Guazuma ulmifolia, Garcinia cambogia, dan Green tea secara berulang dan dalam jangka waktu yang panjang menyebabkan perlu dilakukan pengujian terhadap tingkat keamanannya. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dirancang untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian jamu pelangsing terhadap fungsi ginjal selama 90 hari. Jamu diberikan secara oral kepada 80 ekor tikus putih galur Sprangue-Dawley yang terdiri dari 40 ekor tikus jantan dan 40 ekor tikus betina. Hewan uji dibagi secara acak kedalam empat kelompok, yaitu satu kelompok normal yang diberi CMC 0,5% dan tiga kelompok perlakuan yang masing-masing diberi jamu dosis 1,35 g/kg bb, 2,70 g/kg bb, dan 5,40 g/kg bb tikus. Pada hari ke-91 dilakukan pengambilan darah untuk pengukuran kadar urea dan kreatinin plasma secara kolorimetri. Hasil ANAVA satu arah (α = 0,05) menunjukan tidak ada perbedaan bermakna dari kadar urea dan kreatinin plasma antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan jamu pelangsing selama 90 hari tidak mempengaruhi fungsi ginjal."

"Banyak orang berusaha untuk menurunkan maupun menjaga agarberat badan ideal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruhpemberian jamu pelangsing "SF" pada tikus putih selama 90 hari terhadaporgan ginjal ditinjau dari kadar urea dan histologis ginjal. Hewan coba yangdigunakan tikus putih jantan dan betina galur Sprague-Dawley berumur 3-4bulan dengan berat badan 200-300 g. Pada hari ke-91 tikus diambil darahnyamelalui mata dan dibedah untuk diambil ginjalnya. Selanjutnya dilakukanpengukuran kadar urea plasma dengan metode kolorimetri serta histologisginjal. Kadar rata-rata urea plasma kelompok perlakuan berkisar 31-37 mg/dl dankelompok kontrol 34-37 mg/dl. Diameter rata-rata glomerulus ginjal kelompokperlakuan berkisar 0,88-0,96 μm dan kelompok kontrol 0,93 μm. Jarak ruangrata-rata antara glomerulus dengan kapsula Bowman berkisar 0,09-0,11 μm dankelompok kontrol 0,1 μm. Hasil uji Oneway ANOVA pada
=0,05 terhadap kadarurea plasma, diameter glomerulus ginjal dan jarak ruang antara glomerulusdengan kapsula Bowman tidak menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna baik antarkelompok perlakuan maupun dengan kelompok kontrol. Penggunaan sediaanjamu pelangsing "SF" selama 90 hari tidak mempengaruhi fungsi organ ginjaltikus putih."
