Regenerative braking merupakan fenomena dimana energi kinetic kereta dikonversi menjadi energi listrik selama pengereman, memungkinkan kereta menghasilkan energi listrik setiap kali melakukan pengereman. ......The Jabodebek Integrated Rail Transit (LRT Jabodebek) has become a significant alternative mode of transportation for Jakarta residents, covering a route of 42 km with service lines: Cibubur-Cawang, Cawang-Dukuh Atas, and Jatimulya-Cawang, involving a total of 18 stations. Utilizing electricity as the train's energy source, LRT Jabodebek converts the 20kV power supply from the national electricity company (PLN) into a 750-volt direct current to supply the train. With a headway of only 3 minutes and a substantial number of stations, LRT Jabodebek demonstrates significant potential for regenerative braking. Regenerative braking is a phenomenon where the kinetic energy of the train is converted into electrical energy during braking, allowing the train to generate electrical energy each time it brakes. This study employs the Etap 18.0.C – Etrax Analsys software to simulate regenerative braking in LRT Jabodebek, aiming to determine the energy consumption values during normal operations and during the recovery of regenerative braking energy with peak load and off-peak load operating patterns. The simulation results indicate that the use of recovery energy from regenerative braking can reduce energy consumption by up to 14.22% during peak load and 14.13% during off-peak load. The reduction in energy consumption has the potential to decrease the electricity costs in the operation of LRT Jabodebek.

......This Urban Design proposal was sprung from the idea of regeneration - the notion that a damaged landscape can be repaired and revitalized. I believe that this regeneration starts with connecting people to nature - changing their mindset from ownership of a landscape to be a part of the ecosystem. The Aboriginal people of Australia lived with this idea at the core of their culture - Gammage, in his book “The Biggest Estate on Earth” explores the way that these people did not believe they had power over the land; that the land has a powerful spiritual force that must be nurtured and maintained. From these ideas, the design has been shaped into a new kind of suburb that challenges the idea of privately owned blocks of land to a communal landscape, shaped by a sustainable courtyard typology around a wetland, developed to minimize the human impact on the environment with the purpose of growing an ‘Emergent Mind’ within a community. Furthermore, framed with architectural sustainable courtyard as a tool to connect the living space and the nature so that it enables landscape regeneration. Accordingly, the designated architecture is to revitalize and to bring enjoyment for people to feel nature in its most pristine form.

ABSTRACT
Advances in tissue engineering techniques have made it possible to use human cells as biological material. This has enabled pharmacological studies to be conducted to investigate drug effects and toxicity, to clarify the mechanisms underlying diseases, and to elucidate how they compensate for impaired organ function. Many researchers have tried to construct artificial organs using these techniques, but none has succeeded in growing a whole organ. Unlike other digestive organs with complicated functions, such as the processing and absorption of nutrients, the esophagus has the relatively simple function of transporting content, which can be replicated easily by a substitute. In regenerative medicine, various combinations of materials have been applied, including scaffolding, cell sources, and bioreactors. Exciting results of tissue engineering techniques for the esophagus have been reported. In animal models, replacing full-thickness and full-circumferential defects remains challenging because of stenosis and leakage after implantation. Although many reports have manipulated various scaffolds, most have emphasized the importance of both epithelial and mesenchymal cells for the prevention of stenosis. However, the results of repair of partial full-thickness defects and mucosal defects have been promising. Two successful approaches for the replacement of mucosal defects in a clinical setting have been reported, although in contrast to the many animal models, there are few pilot studies in humans. We review the recent results and evaluate the future of regenerative medicine for the esophagus.

ABSTRACT
The idea of living in suburbs, surrounding the central business district, is highly desirable in Australia as people long for connection with nature, even when it means they have to travel further for work. In a contemporary city like Perth, explosive population increases the demand to expand the living area and forces the design of the suburbs to adapt to it. As a result, suburbs are losing their initial intention which, if continues without any changes, will alienate people further from their natural environment. This writing is aimed to re-imagine a 12-hectare site in Lefroy Road, Beaconsfield, in three different stages: masterplan, cluster, and studio design; to reconnect people back to their natural environment. By reflecting back to the aboriginal land management in Australia, the site is designed using a regenerative approach, both in agriculture and architecture, to restore the functioning landscape of a suburb. The design proposal will collectively reintroduce native plants and native animals back to the site. This will help in restoring the site to become a functioning landscape in which all elements of nature will perform a mutualistic function that will benefit the people, aligning with the principles of aboriginal land management that had been successful a long time ago in Australia.
