Banyak temuan riset para ahli yang kerap dilansir media menyatakan bahwa tingkat stress dan problem sosial masyarakat perkotaan semakin meningkat dan tambah kompleks. Gejala ini ditengarahi karena semakin merebaknya budaya hedonis¬konsumeristik pada kehidupan masyarakat, terutama kehidupan di kota-kota besar seperti Jakarta. Di sisi lain, berkembang egoisme individu yang kian liar mengejar kebutuhan demi pemuasan nafsu duniawi yang tak pernah ada habisnya. Konsekuensinya adalah telah terjadi perubahan perilaku dan kepribadian masyarakatan perkotaan yang mengalami disorientasi sosialnya, sehingga ia tak hanya mengalami alienasi dan keterasingan diri, tetapi juga berakibat pada tindakan-tindakan individu yang menyimpang dari norma hukum dan agama bahkan destruktif, baik terhadap diri sendiri, keluarga maupun orang lain. Berbagai upaya untuk mengeliminir serta merubah kepribadian tidak sehat tersebut sudah gencar dilakukan, termasuk salah satunya adalah dengan memperbaiki kondisi lingkungan sosial individu yang bermasalah, yaitu aspek pendidikannya. Pendekatan yang diusung dari teori Barat ini mengasumsikan bahwa lingkungan sosial seseorang, seperti keluarga, sekolah dan masyarakat sekitar merupakan pengaruh paling dominan membentuk kepribadian individu. Menurut Islam pembentukan kepribadian tidak hanya ditentukan oleh faktor fiisik-lingkungan di mana individu tumbuh kembang dan beraktivitas. Lebih dari itu, Islam memandang bahwa kepribadian individu selain dibentuk oleh faktor pendidikan (lingkungan) juga diperlukan injeksinasi spiritual-religius. Dalam konteks ini dakwah Islam, yaitu amar ma'ruf nahi munkar semestinya dilakukan dengan metode dan pendekatan ramah, dialogis, penuh kearifan dan kontekstual. Dengan begitu nilai-nilai dan ajaran dakwah yang disampaikan benar-¬benar menampakan wajah Islam yang rahmafan lil'alamin. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dakwah majelis taklim Tarbiyatul Mu'awanah terhadap kepribadian muslim di kawasan Ciganjur Jakarta Selatan, dengan menggunakan metode analisa kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan para jama'ah pengajian (subyek), pengamatan langsung dan dokumentasi.Untuk mendapatkan gambaran umum tentang pola dan hubungan antar kategori digunakan analisis kasus perkasus dan kemudian dilakukan analisis antar kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan dakwah di majelis taklim Tarbiyatul Mu'awanah memiliki peranan signifikan terhadap pembentukan kepribadian muslim. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari aspek-aspek dinamika kepribadian subyek (muslim) sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti pengajian, dalam mana sebelumnya kebanyakan dari mereka belurn memiliki kepribadian muslim, tapi setelah aktif mengikuti pengajian telah memiliki kepribadian muslim seperti yang diharapkan. Misalnya berpenampilan saleh dan lebih religius, sudah mau menutup aurat, berkepribadian pelopor, disiplin, sabar, menjaga kebersihan dan kesucian, suka menolong orang lain dan gemar beraktivitas sosial serta bertanggung jawab.
A lot of research works, as often written in newspapers, show that the stress level and social problems of urban community are getting higher and more complicated. On the one hand the phenomenon is partly due to the hedonism and consumerism which grow among the urban society, especially in big cities like Jakarta. On the other hand, individual egoism develops strappingly to pursue materials for satisfying never fulfilled individual greed. These social phenomenon results in the behavioral changing and personality of the urban community as indicated by their social disorientation which in turn lead them to alienation and destructive actions which against law. And in the end of the day, the individual, his family and others will suffer from his/her own acts. Many kinds of efforts conducted by government or NGOs are brought into being to rehabilitate and even eliminate unhealthy personality of the community members, among others, through the betterment of social environment of the unhealthy individuals, especially by means of education. And the social environment such as society, family, and schools are supposed to be the crucial factors in shaping individual personalities. Personality building, according to Islamic teaching, is not only determined by physical environment factors where an individual lives but also by education and particularly by religious-spiritual injections. In line with the attempt to create the betterment of the unhealthy personality of the community members, Islamic preaching methods, amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, should be conducted through sociable, peaceful, and contextual approaches. These will promote Islamic values which emphasize Islam as rahmataIiI'alamin to all community members. The research is aimed at the investigation on the preaching influence to Muslim personalities in the area of Ciganjur, Southern Jakarta with qualitative analysis methods. Data collection is carried out through intensive interviews with the Islamic gathering members (subjects), direct observation, and study of document on preaching activities. The general depiction of the pattern and categorical relation is obtained by the use of case by case analysis which is followed by inter case study. The research findings show that preaching activities have significant influence on the changing of the personalities of Islamic gathering members. It is identified through the changing sides felt by the members before and after joining the preaching activities. Most of the respondents didn't know and have Islamic personalities but after active participation in the preaching programs, they obtain the Islamic personalities as expected such as wearing Islamic clothes (covering aurat), having pioneer spirits, being punctual, maintaining cleanliness, being helpful and socially active, etc.

This study question about how Indonesian Citizenship Representation in signs on the preaching of the Red and White flag hoisting in Manado Post Online Edition August 2016 and discourse what is intended by the media through social reality of Indonesian citizenship. From the discussion, it can be argued that it is related to the first question in the context of citizenship, individual citizens through the media reprsentation by their social reality construction as individuals to be pitied; individual who loves the citizen even though in reality she was foreigns; informal individual citizen; encouraging individual media; and individuals create momentum Parliament revised Law on Citizenship. There are five discourse delivered media, namely that Gloria Natapraja Hamel individuals to be pitied because of their citizenship status is questioned by the committee of Paskibraka 2016 ; Gloria Natapraja Hamel is people who really love Indonesia eventhough she is a foreign.; Gloria Natapraja Hamel is an informal of Indonesia Citizen who can not participate as a member of the flag raisers heritage because she is a france.; media are very glad because Gloria rejoin and the case of Gloria as a momentum for arliament Revised Citizenship Act. Academically results of this study would be useful in complementing the existing literature. While in practice the results are expected to help consumers of media in an effort to improve media literacy.

Penelitian ini mempertanyakan bagaimana Representasi Kewarganegaraan Indonesia dalam tanda-tanda pada Pemberitaan tentang Pengibaran Bendera Merah Putih dalam Manado Post Online edisi Agustus 2016) dan Wacana apa yang hendak disampaikan media melalui realitas sosialnya tentang kewarganegaraan Indonesia. Dari hasil pembahasan dapat dikemukakan bahwa terkait pertanyaan pertama maka dalam kontek kewarganegaraan, Individu Warga negara direprsentasikan media melalui konstruksi ralitasnya sebagai individu yang patut dikasihani; individu yang lebih mencintai WNI meski dalam realitanya dia ber-WNA; individu WNI informal; individu yang menggembirakan media; dan individu membuat momentum DPR Revisi UU Kewarganegaraan. Ada lima wacana yang disampaikan media, yaitu bahwa Gloria Natapraja Hamel individu yang patut dikasihani karena status kewarganegaraannya dipermasalahkan panitia Paskibraka 2016.; Gloria Natapraja Hamel individu yang lebih mencintai WNI meski dalam realitanya dia ber-WNA.; Gloria Natapraja Hamel individu WNI informal yang tak bisa ikut menjadi anggota pengibar bendera pusaka karena ber-WNA Prancis.; media bergembira karena Gloria bergabung kembali dan Kasus Gloria Natapraja Hamel momentum DPR Revisi UU Kewarganegaraan. Secara akademis hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bermanfaat dalam melengkapi literatur yang telah ada sebelumnya. Sementara secara praktis maka hasilnya diharapkan dapat membantu para konsumen media dalam upaya meningkatkan literacy media.

Skripsi ini membahas tentang Jamaah Ahmadiyah, sebuah kelompok paham keagamaan yang mengikuti ajaran dan petunjuk Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. Jamaah ini berdiri pada tanggal 23 Maret 1889 di India. Ahmadiyah telah masuk ke Indonesia pada tahun 1925 di daerah Tapak Tuan Pantai Barat Aceh. Jamaah Ahmadiyah terbagi menjadi dua yakni Ahmadiyah Qadian dan Lahore. Kedua kelompok Ahmadiyah ini mempunyai organisasi masing-masing di Indonesia. Kelompok Ahmadiyah Lahore menyebut dirinya Gerakan Ahmadiyah Indonesia, sedangkan Ahmadiyah Qadian bernama Jamaah Ahmadiyah Indonesia. Jamaah Ahmadiyah Indonesia berhasil mengembangkan dan membangun pusat kegiatannya di daerah Bogor, sedangkan Gerakan Ahmadiyah Indonesia yang berpusat di Yogyakarta perkembangannya tidak begitu pesat karena keorganisasiannya longgar. Studi tentang Jamaah Ahmadiyah Indonesia ini berupaya mengkaji dengan fokus pada segi dakwah dan ajaran pokok yang dibawa oleh Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. ......This paper discusses about the Ahmadiyyah, a group of religious thought and actions that follows the teachings of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, which was established on March 23, 1889 in India. Ahmadiyyah penetrated Indonesia in 1925, at Tapak Tuan region, in west coast of Aceh. The Ahmadiyyah consists of two communities, Ahmadiyyah Qadian and Lahore. The second group establishes the organization of Ahmadiyyah in Indonesia. Ahmadiyyah Lahore names itself Indonesia Movement Ahmadiyyah, while Ahmadiyyah Qadian addresses Jemaat Ahmadiyyah of Indonesia. The Jemaat Ahmadiyyah of Indonesia succeeded to develop and to build activities in Bogor, on the other hand the Indonesia Movement Ahmadiyyah based in Yogyakarta. Studies of the Jemaat Ahmadiyyah of Indonesia attempts to study, which stresses on the fundamental aspects of preaching and teaching brought by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.

Just like the Gutenberg revolution in the fifteenth century, which led to the emergence of non-conventional religious authority in the Christian world, the current information technology revolution, particularly through mediums such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter, has triggered the re-construction and decentralization of religious authority in Islam. New santri (pious individuals) and preachers emerged from the non-conventional religious educational system. They not only challenged the traditional authorities, but also redefine and re-conceptualize old religious terminologies, such as hijra and wasatiyya. This book explores the dynamics of religious authority in Indonesia with special attention to the challenges from the "new santri". It is a rich and important book on religion.
