ULPLTG Maleo merupakan pembangkit listrik dengan 4 unit mesin turbin gas berkapasitas 25 MW yang memiliki peranan penting dalam memberi pasokan energi listrik kepada sistem SULUTGO. Keandalan dan kesiapan unit menjadi prioritas bagi perusahaan. Selama ini ULPLTG Maleo tidak memiliki standar dalam melaksanakan pemeliharaan terhadap mesin yang mengalami shutdown dalam jangka waktu lama. Riwayat pemeliharaan unit menunjukkan adanya temuan korosi dan white spot pada blade compressor main engine sehingga perlu ditentukan tindakan mitigasi yang tepat. Berdasarkan hal tersebut pelaksanaan praktik keinsinyuran ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan metode preservasi yang dapat diterapkan sesuai dengan riwayat peralatan dan kondisi lingkungan di ULPLTG Maleo. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa penerapan metode preservasi yang dilakukan memberi pengaruh terhadap perbandingan nilai temperatur dan kelebapan serta menjaga nilai kelembapan port borescope inspection nomor 4 selalu pada nilai %RH terendah namun masih dipengaruhi oleh temperatur dan kelembapan lingkungan ULPLTG Maleo. Hasil pemeriksaan borescope menunjukkan tidak terjadi perubahan kondisi korosi dan white spot yang signifikan pada blade stage 1, 2 dan 16 namun pada blade stage 2 terjadi penurunan tingkat white sport secara minor sehingga dapat disimpulkan pelaksanaan preservasi yang dilakukan kurang efektif dalam mengatasi permasalahan utama. ......ULPLTG Maleo is a power plant which plays an important role in providing electrical energy to the SULUTGO system. The unit's maintenance history shows the presence of corrosion and white spots on the main engine compressor blade, so appropriate mitigation measures need to be determined. Based on this, the implementation of this engineering practice aims to plan preservation methods that can be applied by the history of the equipment and environmental conditions at ULPLTG Maleo. Based on the tests carried out, it can be seen that the application of the preservation method has an influence on the comparison of temperature and humidity values ​​and maintains the humidity value of port borescope inspection number 4 always at the lowest %RH value but is still influenced by the temperature and humidity of the Maleo ULPLTG environment. The results of the borescope examination showed that there was no significant change in the condition of corrosion and white spots on blade stages 1, 2 and 16. However on blade stage 2 there was a minor decrease in the level of white sport, so it can be concluded that the preservation implementation carried out was less effective in overcoming the main problem.
