Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keragaman genetik dan kekerabatan ikan cupang menggunakan sekuens Cytochrome Oxidase I. Keragaman genetik diketahui menggunakan sekuens Cytochrome Oxidase I. Amplifikasi Cytochrome Oxidase I dilakukan menggunakan primer HCO dan LCO dengan hasil sekuens yang diperoleh berukuran 680 pb.
