Abstrak :
Makalah ilmiah ini membahas teknikalisasi yang terjadi selama bekerja sebagai peneliti dalam program penelitian "Receh Coreng" (Research Courses of Housing Cooperatives Rental Housing). Dalam perspektif antropologi pembangunan, tulisan ini mengacu pada konsep Rendering Technical untuk menyoroti teknikalisasi yang terjadi mulai dari tahap pengumpulan data hingga tahap analisis data. Dominasi ahli dalam pembangunan cenderung mengarahkan solusi teknis tanpa mempertimbangkan aspirasi dan kebutuhan masyarakat yang diteliti. Program ini merupakan program multidisiplin yang melibatkan berbagai ilmu lain, termasuk antropologi sosial, dengan tujuan menghasilkan solusi pembangunan perumahan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Namun, kendala teknikalisasi mewarnai penelitian ini, dengan penekanan berlebihan pada data kuantitatif dan desain fisik berupa luaran rusun yang mengesampingkan aspek kualitatif dan kontekstual dari pengalaman pengontrak. Teknikalisasi terlihat dalam seluruh proses pengumpulan data dan analisis, menghasilkan output berupa desain arsitektur yang kurang memperhitungkan realitas sosial masyarakat. Refleksi serta kesimpulan yang dilampirkan dalam tulisan ini berasal dari pengalaman pribadi saya yang saya elaborasikan dengan konsep rendering technical untuk mengungkapkan indikasi-indikasi teknikalisasi dalam program penelitian multidisiplin Receh Coreng. ...... This final scientific paper discuss technicalization that occurs while working as a researcher in the research program "Receh Coreng" (Research Courses of Housing Cooperatives Rental Housing). From the perspective of development anthropology, this paper refers to the concept of Rendering Technical to highlight the technicalization that occurs from the data collection stage to the data analysis stage. The dominance of experts in development tends to direct technical solutions without considering the aspirations and needs of the researched community. This program is a multidisciplinary program involving various other disciplines, including social anthropology, with the aim discusses of producing housing development solutions that are suitable for community needs. However, the constraint of technicalization colors this research, with an excessive emphasis on quantitative data and physical design in the form of apartment outputs, neglecting the qualitative and contextual aspects of tenant experiences. Technicalization is evident in the entire process of data collection and analysis, resulting in outputs in the form of architectural designs that inadequately consider the social realities of the community. The reflections and conclusions presented in this paper stem from my personal experience, which I elaborate on with the concept of rendering technical to reveal indications of technicalization in the multidisciplinary research program Receh Coreng.
