"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai upaya pengidentifikasian relief-relief tokoh yang dipahatkan dalam ruang bilik Candi Induk Plaosan Lor. Relief-Relief tokoh berjumlah keseluruhan 12 panil relief, dengan pembagian 4 panil relief pada bilik Candi Induk Utara dan 8 panil relief dalam bilik Candi Induk Selatan. Identifikasi akan ditelusuri melalui beberapa tahapan, yakni deskripsi detail ciri ikonografis relief, selanjutnya analisa yang diacu dengan analisis morfologis dan kontekstual. Selain itu dipergunakan pula interpretasi analogi dengan temuan Prasasti Prenâgarî yang berada dalam gugusan candi bersangkutan.Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan adanya hubungan penggambaran yang konkret atas isi prasasti yang dituangkan dalam panil-panil relief tokoh bilik candi tersebut. Selain itu, ditemukan pula kesejajaran antara keduabelas panil yang terpisah dalam dua Candi Induk Plaosan Lor. Interpretasi penelitian dalam penelitian terpadu adalah identifikasi tokoh-tokoh tersebut sebagai tokoh-tokoh kenegaraan yang direpresentasi dalam suatu Gugusan Candi Buddhis Plaosan Lor yang merupakan kuil pemujaan dan simbolisme religius, namun juga sarat dengan interpretasi aspek kenegaraan.

The Focus consist about identification of the figure reliefs which carved inside the chamber of Candi Induk Plaosan Lor. These figure reliefs numbered of 12 panels, divide into 2 temples; 4 panels located in the North Plaosan Lor, while the other 8 panels in the Southern Plaosan Lor. The process of identification will be divided into several steps, first will be started by detailed description of iconographical element. Subsequent to are morphological and contextual analysis, which will be made by the additional analogy with the Prenâgarî Inscription within the Candi Plaosan Lor Complex.The research's result shown about some concrete association between the portrayal figures from the haut-reliefs with the descriptive image told by the inscription. Furthermore, research? study conclude a comparability relation within those twelve panels. The highest conclusion made is the fact that those figure reliefs represent the nation-kingdom members whom recorded inside The Plaosan Lor Buddhist Temple Complex which symbolize a religious concept, yet enclosed with major political-nation aspects."

"Skripsi ini membahas tentang busana dan perhiasan Siddharta yang terlihat di relief Lalitavistara, Candi Borobudur, yang kemudian diamati dengan menggunakan konsep perjalanan hidup. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pula perbandingan busana dan perhiasan dengan figur lain pada konteks yang sama. Berdasarkan perbandingan tersebut, akan terlihat persamaan dan perbedaan busana dan perhiasan pada konteks yang sama. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pengaruh perjalanan kehidupan terhadap busana dan perhiasan yang digunakan oleh Siddharta. Pengaruh tersebut merupakan salah satu rekonstruksi budaya Jawa Kuno, yang dilihat berdasarkan konsep perjalanan kehidupan.

This thesis discusses about Siddharta’s fashion and jewelry seen in relief Lalitavistara, Borobudur Temple, which is then observed by using the concept of life course. Furthermore, also conducted a comparison of clothing with other figures in the same context. Based on these comparisons, it would appear the similarities and differences in clothing and jewelry in the same context. The results of this study show the influence of the life course of the clothing and jewelry that is used by Siddharta. That influence is one of the ancient Javanese cultural reconstruction, which is viewed by the concept of life course."
