"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan status hidrasi, perubahan nilai total serum bilirubin, dan durasi fototerapi pada bayi dengan jenis pemberian minum yang berbeda. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dan prospektif dengan menggunakan 34 sampel bayi cukup bulan dan sehat, terdiri dari bayi yang diberi formula, bayi yang diberi ASI dan bayi yang diberi ASI dan formula.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan status hidrasi, tidak ada perbedaan perubahan nilai total serum bilirubin dan ada perbedaan durasi fototerapi antara dua kelompok. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tidak ada perbedaan status hidrasi pada bayi dengan jenis pemberian minum yang berbeda. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah perawat sebaiknya memastikan efektititas proses menyusui selama fototerapi.
The purposes of this research was to assess the differences of hydration status, decreased in bilirubin concentration and duration of phototherapy with different types of feeding. This study was an observational and prospective study. The sample was 34 full-term healthy newborn, consisted of formula fed group, breastfed group and mixfeeding group.
The result show that no differences hydration status, no differences decreased in bilirubin concentration in all group and any differences duration of phototherapy between two group. The conclusion of this research was no different hydration status of newborn undergoing phototherapy with different types of feeding. Recommendation from this research, the nurse should assess the effectiveness of breastfeeding during phototherapy"
