Abstrak :
This textbook explains the fundamentals of electric circuits and uses the transfer function as a tool to analyze circuits, systems, and filters. The author avoids the Fourier transform and three phase circuits, since these topics are often not taught in circuits courses. General transfer functions for low pass, high pass, band pass and band reject filters are demonstrated, with first order and higher order filters explained in plain language. The authors presentation is designed to be accessible to a broad audience, with the concepts of circuit analysis explained in basic language, reinforced by numerous, solved examples.

Abstrak :
This new edition of a proven textbook provides comprehensive, in-depth coverage of the fundamental concepts of electrical and computer engineering. It is written from an engineering perspective, with special emphasis on circuit functionality and applications. Reliance on higher-level mathematics and physics, or theoretical proofs has been intentionally limited in order to prioritize the practical aspects of electrical engineering. This text is therefore suitable for a number of introductory circuit courses for other majors such as robotics, mechanical, biomedical, aerospace, civil, architecture, petroleum, and industrial engineering. The authors primary goal is to teach the aspiring engineering student all fundamental tools needed to understand, analyze and design a wide range of practical circuits and systems. Their secondary goal is to provide a comprehensive reference, for both major and non-major students as well as practicing engineers.

Abstrak :
This book describes a new way to design and utilize Instrumentation Amplifiers (IAs) by taking advantages of the current-mode (CM) approach. For the first time, all different topologies of CMIAs are discussed and compared, providing a single-source reference for instrumentation and measurement experts who want to choose a topology for a specific application. The authors also explain major challenges in designing CMIAs, so the book can be useful for anyone studying instrumentation amplifiers, and even other analog circuits. Coverage also includes various CM signal processing techniques employed in CMIAs, and applications of the CMIAs in biomedical and data acquisition are demonstrated.
