"Studi kualitatif ini mengeksplorasi pengalaman manajemen privasi komunikasi (CPM) pelajar pekerja seks komersial (PSK) di Indonesia. Dipandu oleh prinsip-prinsip teori tentang aturan privasi pribadi, kepemilikan bersama atas informasi yang diungkapkan, dan negosiasi batasan privasi; penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bagaimana para mahasiswa PSK mengelola pengungkapan dan penyembunyian identitas serta aktivitas mereka yang terstigmatisasi. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa bagi para PSK pelajar, menerima dukungan tanpa penilaian negatif dari ruang di sekitarnya dapat membangun kepercayaan bagi partisipan untuk memberitahukan pemahaman selektif mengenai cakupan pekerjaan individu tersebut dengan ‘perjanjian’ individu-individu tersebut akan menjaga kerahasiaan terkait informasi tersebut.

This qualitative study explores the communication privacy management (CPM) experiences of commercial sex worker (CSW) students in Indonesia. Guided by the theoretical principles of personal privacy rules, shared ownership of disclosed information, and negotiation of privacy boundaries; This research aims to reveal how student prostitutes manage the disclosure and concealment of their stigmatized identities and activities. Primary data was collected through in-depth interviews. This research found that for prostitute students, receiving support without negative judgment from the surrounding space can build trust for participants to convey a selective understanding of the scope of the individual's work with the promise that these individuals will maintain confidentiality regarding this information."
