Abstrak :
CNT memiliki kecenderungan untuk beragregasi, sehingga diperlukan fungsionalisasi untuk menggunakan CNT dalam aplikasi biomedis. Minyak zaitun dan CTAB bertindak sebagai surfaktan yang dapat memodifikasi permukaan MWCNT. Proses fungsionalisasi dengan tahapan pencampuran, pendispersian pada water bath ultrasonik, penyaringan, hingga pengeringan. Karakterisasi FTIR MWCNT dengan minyak zaitun ataupun dengan CTAB menghasilkan gugus fungsional baru, yaitu C=O pada 1600 cm-1 dan O-H pada 2430 cm-1, kedua gugus tersebut merupakan gugus polar yang memiliki sifat hidrofilik. Hasil SEM menunjukkan morfologi MWCNT + minyak zaitun yang didominasi oleh minyak zaitun, sedangkan morfologi MWCNT + CTAB terlihat adanya modifikasi permukaan MWCNT dan terpisah satu tube dengan tube lainnya. Karakterisasi EDX menghasilkan persentase berat unsur C yang terkandung pada MWCNT + minyak zaitun 100ml dan 200ml secara beruturut-turut mengalami penurunan sebesar 30,5% dan 31,09%. Namun penambahan O sebesar 84,97% dan 85,22%. Sedangkan untuk MWCNT + CTAB, terjadi penurunan C sebesar 5,37% dan O sebesar 71,31% yang dikarenakan munculnya unsur baru pada MWCNT + CTAB, yaitu Br dan N. Karakterisasi XRD menunjukkan intensitas kristalin unsur C paling tinggi berada pada MWCNT + CTAB, MWCNT murni, MWCNT + 100ml minyak zaitun, dan MWCNT + 200ml minyak zaitun secara berturut-turut. Intensitas ini berbanding lurus dengan diameter rata-rata MWCNT. ......CNT has their tendency to aggregate, it could be overcome to use the functionalization of CNTs for biomedical applications. Olive oil and CTAB acts as a surfactant to modify the surface of the MWCNT. There are several stages on functionalization process, mixing, dispersing in an ultrasonic waterbath, filtration, then drying. FTIR spectrum shows MWCNT that had functionalization with olive oil or CTAB have new functional group, C=O at 1600 cm-1 and O-H at 2430 cm-1. SEM micrographs shows morphology MWCNT + olive oil are dominated by olive oil, meanwhile morphology MWCNT + CTAB show the occurance of surface modification of MWCNT on the outer surface wall and separated from one tube to another tube. EDX shows the percentage of the C elements contained in the MWCNT + 100ml and 200ml olive oil is decreasing, 30.5% and 31.09%, respectively. But increasing O, 84.97% and 85.22%, respectively. As for MWCNT + CTAB, C and O are decreasing for 5.37% and 71.31%. This is due to the emergence of new elements from CTAB, Br and N. The results from XRD characterization are the highest intensity of crystalline C is MWCNT + CTAB, pristine MWCNT, MWCNT + 100ml, and MWCNT + 200ml olive oil.

ABSTRAK
Kanker payudara merupakan penyebab kematian pertama akibat kanker pada wanita. Pria juga dapat terkena kanker payudara. Penanganan kanker payudara terdiri dari operasi, terapi radiasi, dan terapi sistemik yang menggunakan obat. World Health Organization WHO telah mendaftarkan tiga puluh cytotoxic dan obat antikanker untuk mencegah dan mengurangi kanker payudara. Para ilmuwan sudah berusaha untuk menemukan obat lain untuk membantu orang yang terkena kanker payudara. Oleh karena itu, desain obat menjadi penting dalam menemukan obat baru yang potensial untuk menangani kanker payudara. Pada skripsi ini diajukan pendekatan multiple linear regression MLR menggunakan metode quantitative structure activity relationship QSAR untuk memodelkan desain obat kanker payudara dengan pemilihan variabel menggunakan metode algoritma genetika GA . Data yang diperoleh dari bank protein umum lebih sedikit dibandingkan banyaknya variabel, yang menyebabkan asumsi Analisis MLR gagal dan menyebabkan multikolinearitas. Model QSAR diragukan saat terjadi multikolinearitas. Algoritma Genetika GA diimplementasikan untuk menghilangkan multikolinearitas. GA bertindak sebagai penyeleksi variabel untuk mencari variabel yang signifikan dan membantu mendapatkan model QSAR yang paling cocok. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa GA dan MLR dapat diimplementasikan pada desain obat kanker payudara.
ABSTRACT
Breast cancer is the first cause of death by cancer in women. Even so, men could have breast cancer. In the treatment of breast cancer there are surgery, radiation therapy and systemic therapy which treatments using drugs. World Health Organization WHO has listed thirty cytotoxic and anticancer drugs to prevent and reduce breast cancer risk. Researchers have been trying to find other drugs to help people with breast cancer. Thus, drug design becomes more important in discovering new potential drugs to treat breast cancer. In this study, we proposed multiple linear regression MLR approach using quantitative structure activity relationship QSAR method for modelling drug design of breast cancer with variable selection using genetic algorithm GA. The obtaining data from public protein bank leads to have lower number of compounds than the number of variables, it failed the assumptions of MLR analysis and led to multicollinearity. QSAR model appeared uncertain when multicollinearity arise. We implemented genetic algorithm GA to resolve multicollinearity. GA acted as a variable selector to obtain the most significant variables and helped getting the most fitted QSAR model. The experimental result shows that combining of GA and MLR can be implemented in breast cancers drug design.

Terapi Paliatif bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan mengurangi gejala, namun menambah kompleksitas terapi pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profil pengobatan dan prevalensi DRPs yang terjadi pada pasien yang menjalani terapi paliatif di RSK ?Dharmais?. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian cross sectional. Data pada penelitian diambil secara prospektif dari data medis pasien bulan maret sampai juni 2011. Karakteristik pasien, 33 orang (68,8%) perempuan, 15 orang (31,3%) laki-laki, dan kasus kanker padat terbesar adalah kasus kanker payudara sebanyak 15 orang (33,3%). Berdasarkan profil pengobatan, 64,6% hanya menjalani satu kali terapi paliatif. Reaksi obat yang tidak diinginkan (ROTD) manifestasi dialami olah 70,1% subyek uji dan 66,2% mengalami ROTD potensial. Lima koma tujuh persen (5,7%) mengalami interaksi dengan signifikansi moderate dan 15,0% terjadi karena pemakaian morphine, dan amitriptyline. Peningkatan risiko kejadian ROTD dipengaruhi oleh (1) usia, bertambahnya usia tidak selalu menyebabkan peningkatan ROTD manifestasi; (2) jenis kelamin, laki-laki akan lebih berisiko mengalami peningkatan ROTD manifestasi; (3) riwayat rejimen kemoterapi kuratif, meningkatkan risiko ROTD manifestasi; (4) penyakit penyerta, meningkatkan risiko ROTD manifestasi dan potensial; (5) jumlah obat; penggunaan > 5 jenis obat dapat meningkatkan risiko ROTD manifestasi dan ROTD potensial. Risiko kejadian interaksi obat dipengaruhi oleh faktor adanya penyakit penyerta dan penggunaan > 5 jenis obat.

The goal of palliative care is to increase the quality of life and to reduce the symptomps, but its often increace the complexity of patient?s therapy. The aim of these research is to analyst the patient?s therapy profile and the prevalence of DRPs of patient undergoing the palliative care at ?Dharmais? Hospital National Cancer Center. This reasearch is a cross sectional study. The data of the research is prospectively taken from the patients? medical records start from march to june 2011. The patient characteristic who followed the reasearch are 33 patients (68.8%) women, 15 patient (31.3%) men, and the most solid cancer case are breast cancer, 15 patients (31.3%). Based on therapy profile, 64.6% only had once palliative care. Manifest adverse reaction happen in 70.1% patient of subject and 66.2% subjects get potential adverse reaction. Five point seven percent (5.7%) of drug interaction had moderate signification, 15.0% caused by the morphine, and amitriptyline use. The risk of incident adverse reactions influenced by (1) age, increasing the age not always increase the risk of having the manifest adverse reaction, (2) sex, men will have higher risk of manifest adverse reaction, (3) history of curative chemotherapy regimen, increase the risk of manifest adverse reaction, (4) comorbidities will increase the risk of manifest and potential adverse reaction, (5) the number of drug use, using more than 5 drugs ( > 5 drugs) will increase the risk of manifest and potential adverse reaction.
