Abstrak :

Perjudian online merupakan kegiatan yang dilarang di Indonesia. Namun, kasus judi online masih marak terjadi dan memberikan banyak dampak negatif bagi penjudi dan juga lingkungan sekitarnya. Penelitian ini berusaha mengeksplorasi pembelajaran sosial teknik netralisasi dari penjudi online. Hubungan narasumber dengan orang terdekatnya dan perjalanan hidup narasumber ditelusuri dan dianalisis menggunakan konsep pembelajaran sosial. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode wawancara mendalam terhadap tiga penjudi online, ditemukan bahwa para narasumber menggunakan teknik netralisasi untuk menghindari reaksi negatif yang mungkin muncul dari keluarga, pacarnya, dan reaksi dari pertemanannya. Narasumber tidak memedulikan reaksi dari teman-temannya, karenanya mereka menggunakan teknik netralisasi sebagai justifikasi untuk terus berjudi online. Pembelajaran akan teknis dan justifikasi untuk berjudi online dari kelompok pertemanan merupakan salah satu pengaruh terkuat yang membuat para narasumber tertarik untuk berjudi online. Pembelajaran tersebut membuat narasumber menggunakan denial of injury dan condemnation of the condemners. Sedangkan penggunaan denial of responsibility dan denial of the victim tidak berasal dari pembelajaran sosial, melainkan melalui narasumber itu sendiri. ......Online gambling is a prohibited activity in Indonesia. However, cases of online gambling persist and have various negative impacts on the gamblers and their immediate surroundings. This research seeks to explore the social learning of neutralization techniques by online gamblers. The relationship between the interviewees and their close associates, as well as the life journey of the interviewees, is examined and analyzed using the concept of social learning. Employing a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with three online gamblers, it was found that the interviewees employed neutralization techniques to avoid potential negative reactions from family, partners, and friends. The interviewees disregarded the reactions of their friends, hence using neutralization techniques as justification to continue online gambling. Learning technicalities and justifications for online gambling from their peer group proved to be one of the strongest influences that attracted the interviewees to engage in online gambling. This learning led the interviewees to utilize denial of injury and condemnation of the condemners. Meanwhile, the use of denial of responsibility and denial of the victim did not stem from social learning but rather from the interviewees themselves.

Skripsi ini membahas analisis situasi pelaku korupsi yang melakukan teknik netralisasi. Peneliti menggunakan teori Differential Association E.H Sutherland dan Teknik Netralisasi Sykes dan Matza yang telah dikolaborasikan dengan teknik netralisasi Coleman. Perspektif yang digunakan adalah interaksionis atas proses sosial yang dialami pelaku korupsi. Metodologi penelitiannya adalah analisa situasi dari studi kasus kasus individual AM, pelaku korupsi yang divonis seumur hidup. Penelitian ini menemukan penempatan asosiasi AM, Paparan secara verbal atas lima teknik netralisasi, rasionalitas AM melakukan tindakan menyimpang serta menetralisasikan pilihan tindakannya. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa proses interaksi dapat mempengaruhi pertimbangan AM atas menentukan perilaku. Rasionalitas yang ada pada diri AM mempertimbangkan keuntungan serta kesempatan dirinya untuk menentukan pilihan sikap. Maka dari itu, identifikasi dari motif yang bervariasi serta dalih pembenaran yang pernah dilakukan akan menjadi landasan berpikir AM dalam membenarkan tindakan korupsi. Upaya mencari dalih dan alasan atas kesalahan yang diperbuat merupakan respon langsung yang diberikan oleh AM dalam menanggapi desakan konformis dari aturan sosial yang berlaku.

ABSTRACT
This thesis discusses the situation analysis of the corrupt offender who performs the neutralization technique. Researchers use the Differential Association theories E. H Sutherland and Neutralization Technique Sykes and Matza which has been collaborated with the neutralization technique by Coleman. Using an interactionist approach in particular to social processes experienced by corruption perpetrators. This research methodology is the situation analysis of the case study of individual AM cases, a life sentence of corruption perpetrators. This research finds AM association placement, verbal exposure to five neutralization techniques, AM rationality performs deviant actions and neutralizes the choice of actions. The authors concluded that the interaction process could influence AM 39s judgment in determining behavior. The rationality that is in AM considers the advantages and opportunities itself to determine the choice of attitude. Therefore, the identification of the varied motives and justifications that have been made will be the basis of thinking AM in justifying the act of corruption. Attempts to find excuses for wrongdoing is a direct response provided by AM in response to the conformist insistence of the prevailing social rules.
