"These Latin American celebrations?rich in cultural significance and Latin history?present opportunities throughout the calendar year to reach out to all populations with engaging programs and activities. The easy-to-organize projects in this book are organized around important Latino holidays and are inspired by artesenĂas (Latino folk art) traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation. And, because each project is tied to literature, kids get the reading bug early!"

"The so-called nation states have created ethnical minorities. Also due to migration, cultural diversity is the reality. The multicultural society is strongly reproduced in the schools all over Europe. Cultural diversity in the classroom is increasingly recognized as a potential which should not be neglected. The educational system has, above all, to provide all children with equal opportunities. Experts from Finland, the UK, Hungary, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, and other European states, mostly responsible for teacher education, have contributed to this volume with critical, but constructive remarks on the classroom reality in their countries."

"In Indonesia, as elsewhere in Asia, education will inevitably play a key role in the national development experience as the twenty-first century unfolds. Not much international attention is paid to how the education sector is faring in Indonesia, but that is not because nothing is happening. The past decade has seen major changes in the structure of the education system and in the schooling trajectories of Indonesian children and adolescents. The administration of primary and secondary education has been decentralized to the regions. A new paradigm of school-based management has been introduced. Public spending on education has finally reached one-fifth of total government spending, as required by law. But although enrolment rates at all levels continue to increase, the quality of education remains low and has not improved, and the tertiary sector continues to experience problems of autonomy and unsatisfactory performance."

Sementara laki-laki justru terbalik. Seroakin tinggi identifikasi kelompsk gendemya semakin rendah jumlah pemanggilan informasi stereotypeconsistent maupun stereotype-enconsisteny.

The aim of this research was to investigate the claim that gender identification difference in levels of stereotype maintenance through serial reproduction. Serial reproduction research showed that stereotype maintenance was transmitted through five-person communication chains (Kashima, 2000; Lyons & Kashima, 2006). In the present experiment, to examine stereotype maintenance~ a narratives of female and male stereotype consistent and stereotype-inconsistent was used as stimu1us. In previous research. gender identification related to stereotype maintenance. In Maxwell's (!952) showed that participants with strong in-group identification recall more positive stereotype. But the result of this research showed not all strength of gender identification was found to moderate stereotype maintenance. Only female participants with strong gender identification related to stereotype gender maintenance. Female participants with strong gender identification was retained male stereotype--consistent information more than male stereotype-inconsistent. This result raises questions concerning culture differences that gender stereotype may be vary in different cultures.
