"Pengajaran bahasa asing merupakan proses yang membutuhkan pendekatan-pendekatan yang sesuai. Pendekatan komunikatif menjadi salah satu pendekatan yang paling banyak digunakan pada buku ajar maupun praktik pengajaran dalam kelas. Pendekatan komunikatif menerapkan pengurutuan tahapan belajar melalui suatu model yaitu Het ABCD Model oleh Neuner (1981). Model ini terdiri dari empat fase, yaitu fase A, fase B, fase C, dan fase D. Penelitian ini membahas model ABCD yang terdapat pada buku ajar Tekstboek Nieuw Contact! Nederlands voor Anderstaligen Deel 1. Penelitian ini menganalisis latihan dari bab satu hingga lima belas pada tekstboek, lalu dikelompokkan berdasarkan fase yang terjadi melalui tabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan-latihan pada buku ajar Tekstboek Contact! Deel 1 menggunakan Het ABCD Model dengan bentuk fase yang berbeda-beda pada setiap babnya. Bab satu hingga lima menyajikan fase reseptif hingga produktif. Terdapat fase-fase yang ditemukan tidak berurutan, walaupun begitu fase tersebut saling berkaitan dalam proses pengajaran bahasa asing, khususnya bahasa Belanda.

Foreign language teaching is a process that requires appropriate approaches. The communicative approach is one of the most widely used approaches in textbooks and classroom teaching practices. The communicative approach applies a sequencing of learning stages through a model, namely the Het ABCD Model by Neuner (1981). This model consists of four phases, namely phase A, phase B, phase C, and phase D. This research discusses the ABCD model contained in the textbook Nieuw Contact! Nederlands voor Anderstaligen Deel 1 (tekstboek). This research analyses the exercises from chapters one to fifteen in the textbook, then grouped based on the phases that occur through tables. The results showed that the exercises in the textbook Nieuw Contact! Deel 1 uses Het ABCD Model with different phases in each chapter. Chapters one to five present receptive to productive phases. There are phases that are found to be out of sequence, even so the phases are interrelated in the process of teaching a foreign language, especially the Dutch language."

"Model bahasa dapat mempelajari struktur suatu bahasa manusia menggunakan korpus yang tidak terstruktur. Namun, model bahasa secara umum belum dapat mempelajari pengetahuan faktual yang direpresentasikan oleh knowledge graph. Terdapat beberapa usaha untuk membuat model bahasa yang dapat mempelajari pengetahuan faktual seperti KEPLER. Sayangnya, belum terdapat penelitian yang komprehensif mengenai integrasi pengetahuan faktual terhadap pelatihan model bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengajukan model bahasa Indonesia baru bernama IndoKEPLER yang melatih model bahasa Indonesia yang sudah ada dengan korpus Wikipedia Bahasa Indonesia dan memanfaatkan pengetahuan faktual dari Wikidata. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengajukan metode knowledge probing baru untuk menguji pemahaman faktual suatu model bahasa Indonesia. Hasil eksperimen penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan model IndoKEPLER dapat meningkatkan pemahaman faktual suatu model bahasa Indonesia.

Pretrained language models have the ability to learn the structural representation of a natural language by processing unstructured textual data. However, the current language model design lacks the ability to learn factual knowledge from knowledge graphs. Several attempts have been made to address this issue, such as the development of KEPLER. Unfortunately, such knowledge enhanced language model is not yet available for the Indonesian language. In this experiment, we propose IndoKEPLER: a pretrained language model trained using Wikipedia Bahasa Indonesia and Wikidata. We also create a new knowledge probing benchmark named IndoLAMA to test the ability of a language model to recall factual knowledge. This experiment shows that IndoKEPLER has a higher ability to recall factual knowledge compared to the text encoder it’s based on."

"Skripsi ini membahas tentang literasi informasi mahasiswa internasional pada Program BIPA di Fakultas Ilmu Pengetahuan Budaya Universitas Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 6 orang mahasiswa BIPA yang dipilih dengan metode random sampling untuk diwawancara dengan pertanyaan yang merujuk pada teori literasi informasi Big6 yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menganalisis kemampuan literasi informasi informan dengan 6 tahap Big6 yaitu, definisitugas, strategi penelusuran informasi, lokasi dan akses, penggunaan informasi, sintesis, serta evaluasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa mahasiswa internasional program BIPA di FIB UI melakukan tahapan literasi informasi tanpa mereka sadari untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi yang timbul dari luar perkuliahan yaitu, kebutuhan informasi dasar, informasi tentang pekerjaan masing-masing, informasi tentang perbedaan bahasa kosakata dan informasi tentang hobi masing-masing informan. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan literasi informasi setiap mahasiswa BIPA yang dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan Bahasa Indonesia informan, latar belakang kemampuan/pengalaman Bahasa Indonesia informan sebelum tinggal di Indonesia sebelum menjadi mahasiswa BIPA, dan lama tinggal di Indonesia.

This research aims to analyze information literacy skill of Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing BIPA students at Universitas Indonesia in accordance with their foreign language learning need, Bahasa. Einsberg 2004 asserted that information literacy skill is important in foreign language learning. This can be seen from the purpose of foreign language learning comprising of communication, culture, relation, comparison and community which increases the need of information literacy learning to overcome the problems concerning the learning. In order to support the need, the collaboration between information literacy and the use of Bahasa by BIPA students is necessary. Lecture curricula for foreign students would be more up to date if it is adjusted to information need of the students. BIPA students are foreign students who study Indonesian language as their foreign language or it can be called as Indonesian as Foreign Language IFL. Information literacy skill of BIPA students will be analyzed using Big6, consisting of problem defining stage, information finding strategy, location and access, information use, synthesis and evaluation. This research is using qualitative approach with case study method. Data for this research is collected through interviews, observation and literature study. Research informants were 6 six people selected using random sampling. They consisted of two students from South Korea and one student from Slovakia, Japan, Netherland and Vietnam. Most existing researches discuss English as foreign language second language EFL ESL, but no research on information literacy related to Indonesian as foreign language second language. Therefore, this research is going to fill the gap between the previously conducted researches on information literacy related to language skill."
