Abstrak :
Skripsi ini mengambil topik tentang motor induksi yang digunakan pada air compressor. Adapun pembahasan yang diteliti adalah menganalisis metode pengasutan hubung bintang segitiga yang sudah terpasang di motor induksi pada air compressor. Diajukan juga alternatif metode pengasutan dengan menggunakan soft starter. Analisis yang dilakukan adalah membandingkan kedua jenis metode pengasutan motor induksi tersebut terhadap arus pengasutan yang terjadi dan juga dip tegangan yang terjadi pada sistem. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode perhitungan, pengukuran dan juga menggunakan simulai perangkat lunak ETAP. ......This thesis take on the topic of induction motors used on the Air Compressor. The discussion of the study is to analyze the starting method star delta circuit which is mounted on an induction motor one the air compressor. Also proposed an alternative method of starting to use soft starter. Analysis was performed comparing the two types of methods starting of the induction motor for starting currents that occur and also the voltage dip that occurred in the system. The analyzes were performed using the method of calculation, measurement and also using ETAP software simulations.
