Abstrak :
This volume provides a unique overview of methodologies that are conducive to a successful legal transplant in East Asia and Oceania. Each chapter is drafted by a scholar who holds direct professional experience on the legal transplant considered and has a distinctive insight into the pragmatic difficulties related to grafting an alien institution into a legal tradition. The range of transplants includes the implementation of contractual obligations, the regulation of commercial investments and the protection of the environment. The majority of recent legal reforms in these geographical areas have aimed at improving national economic performance and fostering trade and have been directly inspired by European and North American institutional experiences. There is also, however, a tendency to couple economic reforms, aimed at attracting foreign investment, with constitutional reforms that improve the protection of individual rights, the environment and the rule of law.

Abstrak :
Penilaian permukaan jalan adalah proses untuk mengevaluasi kondisi jalan yang ada, mendeteksi semua jenis kerusakan jalan. Kondisi jalan menjadi hal yang penting mengingat salah satu faktor penyebab kecelakaan lalu lintas. Metode penilaian permukaan jalan saat ini mahal, memakan waktu, dan padat karya. Sebagian besar pendekatan penilaian permukaan jalan saat ini menggunakan kendaraan bergerak yang disesuaikan secara unik untuk setiap karakteristik guna memantau permukaan jalan dan hanya memeriksa sejumlah lokasi tertentu. Proyek penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan metode penilaian permukaan jalan saat ini menjadi lebih fleksibel, efektif, murah, dan membutuhkan lebih sedikit tenaga kerja. Selain itu, ini akan menghubungkan prosedur penilaian permukaan jalan saat ini dengan deteksi berbasis Smartphone dengan menghasilkan referensi yang komprehensif. Selain itu, tinjauan literatur algoritma pendeteksian berbasis Smartphone dan metode penelitian hadir untuk memfasilitasi tautan tersebut. Deteksi berbasis smartphone memberikan peluang baru untuk meningkatkan metode penilaian jalan karena kemampuannya untuk mengevaluasi area yang lebih luas dan membutuhkan lebih sedikit tenaga, biaya, dan waktu. Namun, pendeteksian berbasis smartphone tidak dapat menggantikan keseluruhan metode penilaian jalan, tetapi memberikan peluang untuk memperkecil ukuran area yang perlu dikunjungi. ......Road surface assessment is a process to evaluate the existing road condition, it detects all kinds of road defects. Road condition is important knowing that it is one of the factors that cause road accidents. The current road surface assessment method is expensive, time consuming, and labour intensive. The majority of the current road surface assessment approach use a moving vehicle that is uniquely tailored for each characteristic to monitor the road surface and examines just a limited number of locations.This research project aims to improve the current road surface assessment method to be more flexible, effective, inexpensive, and requires less labour work. Moreover, it will link the current road surface assessment procedure with Smartphone based detection by generating a comprehensive reference. In addition, literature review of Smartphone based detection algorithms and research method is present to facilitate the link. Smartphone based detection gives a new opportunity to improve the road assessment method due to its ability to evaluate larger area and it requires less labour, cost, and time. However, Smartphone based detection cannot replace the entire road assessment method, but it gives the chance to lessen the size of areas that need to be visited.

Abstrak :
The reactive power plays an important role in almost every power transmission industry. Assessing the reactive power, its component influences the voltage stability, voltage reliability, and transient stability in the grid is important to maintain the power transmission grid. Those components are also used to improve system efficiency, maintain the system ability to stand in the standard values to avoid unwanted tragedies, such as sudden voltage drop caused by sudden decrease of reactive power or when the transmission flow does not go in line caused by overloaded current increase. Those unwanted phenomena are potentially harmful to the system. In order to adjust the reactive power level into the needed and its components that are influenced by the reactive power values, the reactive power compensation devices are strongly needed. There are already some reactive power compensation devices in the recent industry. The performance factor, reliability, and the availability are considered in this bachelor thesis. Therefore, comparison and analysis will be conducted on the reactive power compensation devices and methodologies to determine the requirement and the placing of reactive power will be conducted. The need to control the reactive power is done by some devices, and the system is made so in such way in order to maintain its qualities, these qualities are going to be discussed mainly in this bachelor thesis. ......Daya reaktif memiliki peran penting di hampir setiap industri transmisi daya. Dengan daya reaktif, nilai dari komponen tersebut dapat mempengaruhi kestabilan tegangan, keandalan dan kestabilan sementara untuk menjaga jaringan transmisi listrik. Komponen-komponen tersebut juga digunakan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi sistem, menjaga kemampuan sistem untuk tetap pada nilai standar untuk menghindari tragedi yang tidak diinginkan, seperti penurunan tegangan secara tibatiba yang disebabkan oleh penurunan daya reaktif secara spontan atau ketika aliran transmisi tidak berjalan karena kelebihan beban. Fenomena yang tidak diinginkan tersebut berpotensi membahayakan sistem. Untuk menyesuaikan level daya reaktif dan komponennya menjadi sesuai, perangkat kompensasi daya reaktif sangat diperlukan. Sudah ada beberapa perangkat kompensasi daya reaktif yang tersedia di pasar. Faktor kinerja, kehandalan, dan ketersediaan akan dibahas di dalam skripsi ini. Oleh karena itu, perbandingan dan analisis perangkat kompensasi daya reaktif dan metodologi perlu dilakukan untuk menentukan kebutuhan dan penempatan daya reaktif. Kebutuhan untuk mengontrol daya reaktif dilakukan oleh beberapa perangkat dan membuat sistem sedemikian rupa untuk mempertahankan kualitas daya reaktif yang diinginkan. Pembahasan kualitas tersebut akan dibahas di dalam skripsi ini.

Abstrak :
Pertumbuhan ekonomi bersifat sangat dinamis, dan perusahaan menggunakan kebijkan strategi transformasi untuk mempertahankan tingkat kompetisi dan keberlanjutannya dalam era globalisasi industri. Implementasi transformasi organisasi akan memberikan suatu perubahan dalam kondisi internal organisasi. Hasil pengamatan dari beberapa hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan melakukan transformasi dalam perusahaan memiliki tingkat keberhasilan yang rendah yang secara umum dibawah 50%. Kegagalan dari strategi ini adalah pada pengelolaan yang tidak tepat terhadap perubahan perilaku sebagai akibat dari strategi transformasi yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perubahan perilaku yang terjadi pada salah satu perusahaan pertambangan di Indonesia yang sedang menjalankan transformasi organisasi, dan bertujuan untuk memberikan suatu rekomendasi ataupun pandangan lain secara ilmiah kepada manajemen perusahaan. Hal ini diharapkan dapat membantu perusahaan dalam membuat suatu keputusan lain untuk menjaga proses transformasi yang sedang berjalan. Sebuah model penelitian dikembangkan berdasarkan Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) dengan menggunakan validasi pengolahan data sesuai PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model) untuk mengevaluasi pengelolaan terhadap perubahan dan mengetahui factor signifikan yang mempengaruhi perilaku positif karyawan. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan bahwa niatan dari karyawan mempengaruhi secara positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku positif karyawan. Sejalan dengan niatan karyawan, sikap karyawan dan kontrol perilaku yang dirasakan juga mempengaruhi secara signifikan terhadap niatan karyawan itu sendiri. Namun, norma subyektif ditemukan tidak mempengaruhi secara signifikan terhadap niatan karyawan. The Importance-Urgency Mapping (Eisenhower method) juga digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk menentukan tingkat prioritas dari beberapa faktor berpengaruh yang dapat dijadikan pertimbangan lebih lanjut oleh manajemen perusahaan. ......Economy growth is very dynamic, and companies use organizational transformation strategies for their resilience and sustainability in the era of globalization. The implementations of organizational transformation provide several internal changes. However, several published research showed a low success rate of less than 50% of the organizational transformation strategy. These failures are due to mismanagement actions in handling employee behavioural changes as the impact of the transformation strategy. This paper focused on behavioural changes in one of the mining companies in Indonesia during the recent organizational transformation. This research aimed to discuss and provide feedback to the company's management. Therefore, the company can perform the best decision-making in achieving transformation strategy goals. A research model was developed based on the Theory of Planned Behaviour and validated in PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Model) to investigate change management implementation and define significant factors influencing employees' positive behaviour. The research found that employees' intention factors significantly influenced positive behaviour of employee. Moreover, their attitudes and perceived control significantly influenced the employees' intentions. However, the subjective norms did not significantly influence the employee's intention. The Importance-Urgency Mapping was also applied to define the prioritization of management factors within the company.

Abstrak :
The collected chapters in this volume present an overview and state-of-the-field of traditional and recently developed methodological approaches to the study of bilingual reading comprehension. It critically reviews and examines major findings from classical behavioral approaches such as the visual moving window, rapid-serial visual presentation (RSVP), and eye-tracking, as well as newly developing neuropsycholinguistic methodologies such as Event-Related Potentials (ERPs), and Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI).  Written to address a timely topic, Methods in Bilingual Reading Comprehension Research updates the field of bilingual reading by critically examining the contributions of the various behavioral and technologically-based reading techniques used to understand psychological processes underlying written language comprehension. Each topic is covered first from a theoretical, and then from an experimental, viewpoint.
