Abstrak :
Penelitian tinggalan arkeologi melalui memori kolektif dapat digunakan untuk melihat identitas dari suatu individu hingga kelompok baik itu berupa gender, seksualitas, sanak keluarga, politik, religi dan sistem sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekonstruksi identitas Kecinaan di Batavia abad ke ndash; 20 melalui data inskripsi pada nisan, patung hingga bangunan yang ada di Mausoleum Oen Giok Khouw. Atribut hingga ragam hias yang ada di Mausoleum Oen Giok Khouw memiliki simbol memori pengingat tentang kehidupan Oen Giok Khouw sebagai orang Cina yang dinaturalisasi oleh orang Belanda dan harapan serta doa untuk Oen Giok Khouw atas kehidupan yang sudah dilaluinya. ......Study of archaeological remains by means of reconstructing collective memory can be used to identify of the past social structure such as gender, sexuality, inter familial roles, politics, religions and social systems. This research aims to reconstruct the identity of Chinese people in Batavia at 20th Century based on the inscription data on the Mausoleum Oen Giok Khouw. Data of this research are inscriptions, gravestone, and statues. The results of this research show the decorations and the shape of the building of Mausoleum Oen Giok Khouw indicate that its have a memorial symbolic about the social status of Oen Giok Khouw during his life. Most of the Mausoleum attributes were using western style that pointed out he wanted to be remembered as a Dutch people rather than a Chinese people because he was naturalized as a Dutch citizen.

Abstrak :
Mausoleum Oen Giok Khouw merupakan sebuah bangunan arsitektur makam yang terletak di TPU Petamburan, Jakarta Pusat. Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk dan gaya bangunan dari mausoleum ini serta untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai penting yang dimiliki oleh Mausoleum Oen Giok Khouw. Kajian ini menggunakan delapan tahapan metode penilaian yang dikemukakan oleh Pearson dan Sullivan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Mausoleum Oen Giok Khouw memiliki kombinasi bentuk dengan percampuran gaya barat sebagai karakteristik utama. Pada bangunan ini juga terdapat beberapa aspek kebudayaan Tionghoa. Dari hasil penelitian juga dapat diketahui nilai-nilai penting pada bangunan Mausoleum Oen Giok Khouw seperti yang tertera dalam UU Cagar Budaya, yaitu nilai sejarah, nilai ilmu pengetahuan, nilai pendidikan, nilai agama, dan nilai kebudayaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai pertimbangan untuk mengajukan bangunan Mausoleum Oen Giok Khouw untuk ditetapkan sebagai cagar budaya. ......The Mausoleum of Oen Giok Khouw is an architectural tomb building located at TPU Petamburan, Central Jakarta. The purpose of this study was to determine the shape and style of the building of this tomb and to find out the important values ​​possessed by the Oen Giok Khouw Mausoleum. This study is uses the eight assessments method proposed by Pearson and Sullivan. The results of this study indicate that the Oen Giok Khouw Mausoleum has a combination of shapes with a mixture Western styles as the main characteristics. In this building there are also several aspects of Chinese culture. From the research results, it can also be seen that the important values ​​in the Mausoleum of Oen Giok Khouw building as stated in the Cultural Heritage Law, namely historical values, scientific values, educational values, religious values, and cultural values. The results of this study can be used as a consideration for proposing the Oen Giok Khouw Mausoleum building to be designated as a cultural heritage.
