"Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh gambaran kebiasaan makan pagi siswa di Sekolah Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Al Islamiyah Lenteng Agung, Jakarta Selatan. Serta determinan keberlanjutan kegiatan makan pagi bersama di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV, V, dan VI Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Al Islamiyah sejumlah 58 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proporsi siswa yang makan pagi sebanyak 70,7%. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara ketersediaan makan pagi dan kebiasaan membawa bekal dengan praktek makan pagi. Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan, sikap, jenis kelamin, pendidikan ibu, pekerjaan ibu, kebiasaan jajan, jumlah uang jajan, dukungan orang tua, dukungan guru, sanksi, dan informasi melalui media dengan praktek makan pagi.

This study aims to get a description of the breakfast habit of students in Al Islamiyah Lanteng Agung Private Elementary School in South Jakarta; and its determinants that influence these students continue the habit. The study used crosssectional design with total sampling as its sample calcultion method. Sample in this study were 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students with total 58 people. The result showed that 70,7% of the sudents ate breakfast and there is a significant relationship between the breakfast habit and its availability in the household as well as their habit to bring lunch. Furthermore, the result also indicated that there is no significant correlation between breakfast habit and other factors in the study such as knowledge, attitudes, gender, maternal education, maternal occupation, snack habits, the amount of pocket money, parent support, teacher support, sanction, and information through the media

"ABSTRAK
Ruang lingkup penelitian ialah gizi kerja dalam hubunggannya dengan produktivitas kerja. Makan pagi merupakan salah satu faktor yang diasumsikan berhubungan dengan produktivitas kerja sedangkan kadar gula darah secara kualitatif dapat mengukur masukan kalori makan pagi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah ada hubungan masukan kalori makan pagi dengan kadar gula darah dan produktivitas kerja terhadap 81 tenaga kerja wanita (TKW) bagian jahit perusahaan tenun di Jakarta pada bulan Nopember 1994 dengan alasan rendahnya pencapaian target produksi {40 %) di perusahaan ini. Penelitian ini menggunaan desain pendekatan kros seksional, data dikumpulkan dengan melakukan wawancara, "recall" 2x24 jam, pemeriksaan fisik, pemeriksaan hemoglobin dan kadar gula darah, pencatatan hasil produksi mulai jam 7.00 sampai jam 12.00 pada hari penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, 9 (11,1 %) TKW tidak makan pagi, 30 (37 %) TKW makan pagi dengan kalori kurang, 42 (51,9 %) TKW makan pagi dengan kalori cukup. Masukan makanan harian secara kualitatif 91,4 % kurang bervariasi. Secara kuantitatif menunjukkan protein {56,52 %), vitamin C dan besi belum mencukupi AKG yang dianjurkan WNPG V tahun 1993. Status gizi TKW 11,1 a kurang, 70,4 % normal dan 18,5 % lebih. Uji statistik mendapatkan adanya perbedaan yang bermakna antara TKW makan pagi dan TKW tidak makan pagi dengan hasil produksi (p=0.004), dengan kadar gula darah jam 6.30 (p = 0.02).
A Study On The Relationship Between Breakfast Calory Intake, Blood Glucose And Productivity Among Women Workers At Weaving Factory In Jakarta, 1994The scope of study is the women workers nutrition in relation to their work productivity. Breakfast is one of the factors which was assumed related to work productivity while blood glucose is one of the objective parameters to measure breakfast calory intake. The objective of this study is to identify the relationship between breakfast calory intake, blood glucose and productivity. A sample of 81 women workers at sewing department a weaving factory in Jakarta had be-come the population of study due to the low productivity record (40 %) of the factory, on November 1994. The design of study is cross-sectional and data were collected through interviews, questionaire, recall 2x24 hour, physical examination, haemoglobin and blood glucose test and one day women workers productivity measured by recording her work productivity performed from 7.00 AM until 12.00 AN. Study result showed that 9 {11.1 %) workers did not have breakfast, 30 (37 %) had breakfast with less calories, 24 (51.9 %) had breakfast with sufficient calories. The one day recall calory intake showed qualitatively that about 91.4'% of their food compositions did not vary. The quantitative food analysis showed that 56.52 0 of protein, vitamin C and iron had not met recommended daily allowance based on WNPG V,1993. About 11.1 % of women workers were undernutrition, 70.4 % normal, 18.5 % overnutrition. Statistical analysis, there were significant relation between works productivity (p = 0.004), blood glucose at 6.30 AM (p=0.02) and women workers who had breakfast compared to those who did not have.

"Latar belakang: Prevalens obesitas terus meningkat dan telah menjadi masalah kesehatan global mengingat komplikasinya yang serius. Obesitas pada anak juga berpotensi menjadi obesitas pada dewasa, tetapi belum ada data mengenai prevalens obesitas pada anak TK di DKI Jakarta. Menurut berbagai literatur dikatakan melewatkan makan pagi berhubungan dengan kejadian obesitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui prevalens obesitas pada anak Taman Kanak-kanak di Kelurahan Cikini, Kecamatan Menteng, DKI Jakarta dan hubungannya dengan melewatkan makan pagi.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross-sectional yang melibatkan semua siswa TK di Kelurahan Cikini, Kecamatan Menteng, DKI Jakarta. Pengukuran antropometri dilakukan di sekolah, kemudian dibagikan kuesioner untuk menilai faktor risiko melewatkan makan pagi.
Hasil: Dari 210 responden didapatkan 28,1% obes, dimana laki-laki (34,8%) lebih banyak daripada perempuan (20%). Dari 158 responden didapatkan 15,8% anak melewatkan makan pagi dan tidak ditemukan perbedaan bermakna antara anak obes yang melewatkan makan pagi (24%) dengan yang makan pagi (27,8%); p>0,05, odds ratio 0,819; 0,30-2,21.
Kesimpulan: Angka prevalens obesitas yang didapatkan cukup tinggi sehingga perlu dilakukan edukasi kepada orang tua dan sekolah mengenai bahaya obesitas dan bagaimana pencegahannya. Perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk memastikan hubungan antara anak obes dengan melewatkan makan pagi.

Background: Obesity prevalence is keep changing in an ascending rate and has become a global health burden for its serious complications. Despite children obesity tends to become adulthood obesity, there is no data for obesity prevalence among kindergarten children in DKI Jakarta. According to some literatures, skipping breakfast is associated with obesity. This research was conducted to discover the obesity prevalence among kindergarten children in Cikini, Menteng, DKI Jakarta and its relation with skipping breakfast.
Methods: This is a cross-sectional study which includes all kindergarten children in Cikini, Menteng, DKI Jakarta as sample. Anthropometric measurement was done at school. Questionnaires were given to evaluate skipping breakfast as risk factor of obesity afterwards.
Results: The obesity prevalence from 210 respondents is 28.1%, which male (34.8%) is greater than female respondents (20%). Among 158 respondents, there were 15.8% children who skipped breakfast and no significant difference is found in obese children who skipped breakfast (24%) and who were breakfast-eaters (27.8%); p>0.05, odds ratio 0.819; 0.30-2.21.
Conclusions: The obesity prevalence is quite high so parents` education about obesity complication and prevention is needed. A further study is required to ensure the relationship between obese children and skipping breakfast.
