"Salah satu masalah yang sempat menarik perhatian masyarakat kita adalah terjadinya serentetan peristiwa pemogokan. Mengenai sebab terjadinya pemogokan tersebut, yakni berkisar pada rendahnya upah buruh yang dibayarkan oleh majikan.
Dewasa ini, upah kaum buruh di Indonesia masih jauh dari mencukupi, oleh karena itu pemberian upah hendaknya disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan fisik minimum. Untuk itu diperlukan kesediaan para pengusaha untuk melakukan berbagai upaya yang dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan para buruh_ Rasa aman dan tenteram para buruh atau pekerja merupakan faktor yang sangat penting di dalam menciptakan hubungan yang harmonis antara buruh dan majikan.
Hubungan Industrial Pancasila yang selama ini dijadikan sebagai pedoman, hendaknya tidak sekedar janji muluk saja, akan tetapi perlu diwujudkan dan dikembangkan demi kepentingan pihak buruh dan pengusaha.
Prinsip saling menghormati antara buruh dan majikan, harus ditingkatkan untuk menghindarkan hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan. Pihak buruh harus melihat pengusaha sebagai mitra dan sebaliknya kaum pengusaha harus melihat buruh atau pekerja sebagai tulang punggung perusahaan.
Perselisihan yang terjadi antara buruh dan majikan sebaiknya diselesaikan secara musyawarah untuk mufakat. Dengan demikian penyelesaian perselisihan tidak perlu diikuti dengan pemogokan dan penutupan perusahaan. Walaupun undang-undang memungkinkan pemogokan atau penutupan perusahaan, tetapi tindakan-tindakan semacam itu hanya akan merugikan para pihak."

"Negara mempunyai kewajiban untuk menyediakan pekerjaan yang layak serta melindungi hak setiap warga negaranya, baik yang terdapat dalam wilayahnya maupun yang terdapat di wilayah negara lain, saat mereka melakukan pekerjaan tersebut. Kantor perwakilan baik diplomatik maupun konsuler, berdasarkan hukum internasional dan hukum nasional berperan dalam melindungi warga negara pengirim di dalam wilayah negara lain. Perlindungan tersebut diberikan kepada setiap warga negara, termasuk kepada TKW. Perlindungan terhadap hak-hak TKW menjadi sangat penting untuk diperhatikan karena banyaknya kasus pelanggaran hak mereka serta peranan penting mereka bagi perekonomian negara, mengingat banyaknya devisa yang diperoleh negara dari mereka. Kantor perwakilan Indonesia memberikan perlindungan tersebut diberikan dalam bentuk bantuan hukum serta dalam bentuk pemenuhan hak sesuai dengan perjanjian kerja dan hukum kerja negara tempat TKW tersebut bekerja.

State has the responsibilities to provide a proper mean of support to their citizen and protect the interest of their nationalities, which lives in their territory or lives in other state territory, while them doing their mean of support. State Representation Office, diplomatic representation or consular representation, based on international law and national law play the important role in protecting the interest of their citizen who live in the receiving state territory. The Representation Office gives such as protection to all citizens including to the women migrant worker. The protection upon the interest of women migrant worker become a very important issue because the massive number of the violation of their rights and they play a very significant role in developing our country economical growth. Indonesian?s representation office gives such protection in form legal assistance and assistance in fulfillment the women migrant worker based on their contract and local labor code."

"ABSTRAK
Skripsi ini membahas pertumbuhan dan peranan dua organisasi buruh yang berbeda konsep tetapi memiliki tujuan akhir yang sama yakni untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan kaum buruh tambang batubara Ombilin Sawah Lunto agar mendapatkan kehidupan yang lebih baik. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pada tahun 1920-an pergerakan serikat pekerja seperti PKBT berjalan secara radikal dan revolusioner dengan diwarnai oleh protes-protes terbuka dan terorganisir yang dilakukannya bersama buruh tambang batubara Ombilin Sawah Lunto. Aksi ini juga di dukung oleh partai politik yang bersifat kontra terhadap pemerintah kolonial Belanda. Setelah terjadinya pemberontakan Silungkang 1926/1927 kondisi ini berubah seiring dengan dikeluarkannya peraturan ketat oleh pemerintah. Pergerakan serikat pekerja pun ikut berubah dengan memilih jalan yang lebih lunak yakni kooperatif terhadap pemerintah kolonial. VBSTOL merupakan serikat pekerja yang memilih jalan tersebut. Organisasi buruh ini memilih jalan memperjuangkan nasib kaum buruh melalui dunia pendidikan dengan mendirikan sekolah INS (Indonesisch Nederlandsche School) di daerah Kayu Tanam dan Sawah Lunto.

Abstract
The thesis discusses the development and role of two labor organizations, which basically had different concepts, but actually had the same goal, namely to improve the welfare of the coal mine labors in Ombilin, Sawah Lunto, so that these labors had a chance to get a better life. These study concluded that in the 1920s, the labor movement, such as PKBT had been radical, revolutioner and full of protests. This activities they did together with the labour of the Ombilin Sawah Lunto coalmines. This action was also supported by opposing labour political parties against the Dutch Colonial Government. This situation changed in the year 1926/1927 after the Silungkang uprising since the Colonial Government became more strict. The opposing organization then changed the activities from using force to a more indicate attitude, they were more cooperative to the Government. VBSTOL was the organization which chose the way. This labor organization preferred to improve the labors_ fate through education by establishing INS schools in Kayu Tanam and Sawah Lunto."

"Formulation of the problem in this research to identify the relationship (correlation) and to test independent variable, namely compensation, training and organization atmosphere toward the dependent variable, namely productivity. The research method used is work analysis and activity (job activity analysis) which is intended to examine the activities and work of human being. For the sampling, I performed the calculation only in the population unit.
The information is takes from "representative" of the population or from sample. In other words, by using the sample survey technique or enumeration sample, namely by performing a procedure in which only some of the population are taken and used to find out the intended nature and characteristics of the population. In order to take the sample, the sample probability technique is used, namely a sample is taken in such a way in which an individual element of the population is not based on personal consideration, but depends on application of probabilities.
This research is done by distributing questioner to 40 respondents out of 60 employees of BAPAS (non institutional treatment) of the Department of Justice and Human Rights, South Jakarta. The reliability test is done to identify the extent to which the items of the questioner have a consistency. After the reliability test there was a decrease of items, which finally produced the highest Cronbach Alpha. This testing is done with the statistical instrument of SPSS 11,5 for windows. A good Cronbach Alpha approximates 1 (one). According to Sekaran (1992), "... the reliability with Cronbach Alpha less than 0.6 is not good, while the Cronbach Alpha less than 0.7 can be accepted and Cronbach Alpha higher than 0.8 is good.
The validity testing is done by using reliability test by considering the column of Corrected Item Total Correlation or Rbt and then is calculated with t test statistic (with the formula). The results of the calculation are then compared to the t table to determine the validity of the statement item which supports the variable.
The results of this research indicate that:
1. There is a high linear correlation, with significance level 0.000 < 0.05 and correlation coefficient 0.785 between Compensation and Productivity.
2. There is a high linear correlation, with significance level 0.000 < 0.05 and correlation Coefficient 0.644 between Training and Productivity.
3. There is a medium linear correlation, with significance level 0.000 < 0.05 and Correlation Coefficient 0.588 between Organization Atmosphere with the Productivity.
The results of the research indicate that the correlation between independent variable and dependent variable has high correlation Coefficient, which means that the increase of productivity of the employees in performing their tasks is determined by the compensation, training and organization atmosphere factors. Therefore, to anticipate the changing situation and the reformation pressure, such as the current situation, the decision makers must immediately decide a policy based on an aspiration."
