ABSTRAK
Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh besar tekanan dan lama scrubbing terhadap kuat rekat geser self adhering flowable composite pada dentin. Self adhering flowable composite diaplikasikan dengan tekanan scrubbing 1, 2, dan 3 gram masing-masing selama 15, 20, dan 25 detik. Resin komposit diaplikasikan secara inkremental. Polimerisasi dengan sinar selama 20 detik. Kuat rekat geser diuji menggunakan Testing Machine dan dianalisa dengan ANOVA diikuti Post Hoc Test Bonferroni. Daerah patahan diobservasi menggunakan SEM. Kuat rekat geser tertinggi pada tekanan scrubbing 3 gram selama 25 detik. Perbedaan besar tekanan dan waktu saat scrubbing mempengaruhi kuat rekat geser self adhering flowable composite pada dentin.
Abstract
Effect of different scrubbing pressure and duration on shear bond strength of self adhering flowable composite to dentin was evaluated. Self adhering flowable composite was applied on dentin with 1, 2, and 3 grams pressure for 15, 20, and 25 seconds. Composite was constructed incrementally. Polymerization for 20 seconds. Shear bond strength was tested with a Testing Machine and analyzed by ANOVA and Bonferroni. Fractured area was observed with a SEM. The highest shear bond strength was obtained in 3 grams scrubbing pressure for 25 seconds. The different scrubbing pressure and duration influenced shear bond strength of self adhering flowable composite to dentin.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kuat rekat geser dan Adhesive Remnant Index (ARI) dua produk breket metal yang direkatkan dengan satu adesif. Dua puluh gigi premolar atas manusia ditanam pada silinder PVC dengan resin akrilik. Spesimen dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, kelompok A: breket metal 3B, Cina + Transbond XT; kelompok B: breket metal Protect, Cina + Transbond XT (3M, Unitek, Amerika). Dihasilkan rerata kuat rekat geser 6,09 dan 7,91 MPa pada kelompok A dan B (p<0,05) dan nilai ARI: 1 dan 2 pada kedua kelompok (p>0,05). Disimpulkan bahwa dua kelompok memiliki nilai kuat rekat geser yang berbeda bermakna dengan kegagalan ikatan bersifat kohesif ABSTRACT

ABSTRAK Pendahuluan: Meningkatnya jumlah pasien dewasa dengan restorasi sewarna gigi, seperti resin komposit, menyebabkan perekatan braket pada permukaan artifisial gigi menjadi suatu tantangan tersendiri karena sering terjadi kegagalan rekat. Saat ini, belum ada riset yang dilakukan untuk melihat perbedaan nilai kekuatan rekat braket (baik nilai kuat geser maupun nilai kuat tarik braket) antara pada permukaan email gigi dan resin komposit nanohibrid. Metode: 32 gigi premolar bawah dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok: kelompok A1) spesimen email gigi (uji kuat rekat geser); kelompok A2) spesimen resin komposit nanohibrid (uji kuat rekat geser); kelompok B1) spesimen email gigi (uji kuat rekat tarik); kelompok B2) spesimen resin komposit nanohibrid (uji kuat rekat tarik). Braket direkatkan pada spesimen lalu diuji dengan menggunakan Universal Testing Machine Shimazu AG-5000 dalam waktu 24 jam setelah braket direkatkan. Hasil: Rerata nilai kuat rekat geser pada kelompok A1 sebesar 10.78 ± 0.13 MPa dan pada kelompok A2 sebesar 10.63 ± 0.18 MPa. Rerata nilai kuat rekat tarik pada kelompok B1 sebesar 10.74 ± 0.15 MPa dan pada kelompok B2 sebesar 10.65 ± 0.14 MPa. Pada uji statistik tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna secara pada nilai kuat rekat geser maupun nilai kuat rekat tarik braket metal antara pada permukaan email gigi dan resin komposit nanohibrid. Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna secara statistik pada nilai kuat rekat geser maupun nilai kuat rekat tarik braket metal antara pada permukaan email gigi dan resin komposit nanohibrid. Seluruh kelompok memiliki nilai rerata kuat rekat geser dan nilai rerata kuat rekat tarik yang memadai untuk keperluan klinis perawatan ortodontik.
ABSTRACT Introduction: The increasing number of adult patients with tooth-colored restorations, such as composite resins, causes the attachment of brackets on artificial surfaces of teeth to be a challenge because of frequent adhesive failures. At present, no research has been carried out to see the difference in bracket adhesive strength values (both shear bond strength and tensile bond strength) between the enamel surface and nanohybrid composite resins surface. Methods: 32 lower premolar were divided into 4 groups: group A1) dental enamel specimens for shear bond strength test; group A2) nanohybrid composite resins specimens for shear bond strength test; group B1) dental enamel specimens for tensile bond strength test; group B2) nanohybrid composite resins specimens for tensile bond strength test. The bracket was bonded to the specimens and tested using Universal Testing Machine Shimazu AG-5000 within 24 hours after the bracket was bonded to the specimens. Results: The mean value of shear bond strength in group A1 was 10.78 ± 0.13 MPa and in group A2 was 10.63 ± 0.18 MPa. The mean value of tensile bond strength in group B1 was 10.74 ± 0.15 MPa and in group B2 was 10.65 ± 0.14 MPa. In the statistical test there was no significant difference in the shear bond strength value or the tensile bond strength value between the metal bracket bonded to the enamel surfaces and to the nanohybrid composite resin surfaces. Conclusion: There was no significant difference in the shear bond strength and the tensile bonding strength value of the metal bracket bonded to the enamel surface and the nanohybrid composite resin surfaces. All groups have an adequate bond strength value for the clinical needs of orthodontic treatment.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kemampuan minyak eucalyptus 75 dan eucalyptol 100 dalam menurunkan kuat rekat geser bahan adesif bis-GMA pada debonding breket metal. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental laboratorik. Sejumlah tiga puluh gigi premolar atas dibagi secara acak menjadi 3 kelompok, yaitu kelompok minyak eucalyptus, kelompok eucalyptol dan kelompok kontrol. Gigi premolar direkatkan dengan braket Gemini 3M Unitek, Monrovia menggunakan resin adesif Transbond XT 3M Unitek, Monrovia . Kelompok minyak eucalyptus, kelompok eucalyptol dan kelompok kontrol masing-masing dioles minyak eucalyptus 75 Naga Mas, Indonesia , eucalyptol 100 Cerkamed, Poland dan akuades di sekitar braket selama 10 menit. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eucalyptol dan kelompok kontrol p.
ABSTRACT
This study conducted to examine the ability of 75 eucalytpus oil and 100 eucalyptol to decrease the shear bond strength and facilitate debonding of metallic bracket bonded with Transbond XT. The study design is experimental laboratoric study. Thirty upper premolar teeth were randomly divided into 3 groups control, eucalyptus oil group, and eucalyptol group. The premolar teeth were bonded with Gemini brackets 3M Unitek, Monrovia using Transbond XT 3M Unitek, Monrovia . Each groups were lubricated by 75 eucalyptus oil Naga Mas, Indonesia , 100 eucalyptol Cerkamed, Poland and aquades around the bracket for 10 minutes. Latar belakang: Keberadaan pelikel mengurangi kualitas dan kuantitas pengetsaan enamel, yang mengurangi kuat rekat geser adhesif. Deproteinisasi enamel dengan sodium hipoklorit (NaOCl) sebelum pengetsaan diharapkan meningkatkan kuat rekat geser bahan adhesif. P

Tujuan: membandingkan nilai kuat rekat geser braket yang direkatkan dengan adhesif Unite (UN) and Xihu-BIOM (XB) pada enamel tanpa dan dengan deproteinisasi enamel menggunakan NaOCl 5.25%.

Metode: 52 gigi premolar pertama rahang atas dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok: A1) UN tanpa deproteinisasi; A2) XB tanpa deproteinisasi; B1) UN dengan deproteinisasi; dan B2) XB dengan deproteinisasi. Spesimen direkatkan braket dan diuji menggunakan Universal Testing Machine Shimazu AG-5000.

Hasil: Rerata kuat rekat geser pada kelompok A1 adalah 12.82 + 2.187 MPa, A2 adalah 14.49 + 2.986 MPa, B1 adalah 15.82 + 3.251 MPa, dan B2 adalah 12.56 + 2.726 MPa. Pada uji statististik terdapat perbedaan bermakna rerata kuat rekat geser adhesif UN antara kelompok tanpa dan dengan deproteinisasi. Selain itu terdapat perbedaan bermakna kuat rekat geser kelompok dengan deproteinisasi antara adhesif UN dan XB. Pada semua kelompok adhesif terdapat peningkatan tidak bermakna nilai ARI pada kelompok dengan deproteinisasi.

Kesimpulan: Deproteinisasi enamel dengan NaOCl 5.25% sebelum pengetsaan memberikan peningkatan bermakna kuat rekat geser adhesif Unite. ......Background: Pellicle’s protein in enamel surface reduces the quality and quantity of acid etching, therefore it reduces shear bond strength. Enamel deproteinization with sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) before etching was expected to enhance orthodontic adhesives’ shear bond strength.

Aim: to assess the effect of enamel deproteinization with 5.25% NaOCl before etching on shear bond strength of Unite (UN) and Xihu-BIOM (XB) adhesive.

Methods: Fifty-two maxillary first premolars were divided into four groups: A1) UN without deproteinization; A2) XB without deproteinization; B1) UN with deproteinization; and B2) XB with deproteinization.  Brackets were bonded and mechanical test were performed in Universal Testing Machine.

Results: The mean shear bond strength value for Group A1 was 13.51 + 2.552 MPa, A2 was 14.36 + 2.902, B1 was 16.43 + 2.615 and B2 was 13.05 + 2.348 MPa. There’s significant effect of sodium hypochlorite enamel deproteinization before acid etching on shear bond strength of Unite adhesive. Significant difference on shear bond strength of Xihu-BIOM and Unite adhesive within enamel deproteinization group was observed in this study. Within both adhesive groups, there were non-significant increase on ARI score in deproteinization group.

Conclusion: Enamel deproteinization with 5.25% NaOCl before etching increased shear bond strength of Unite significantly.
