"Miniseri hasil produksi Netflix yang berjudul Over Christmas (ÜberWeihnachten) memperlihatkan pembentukan identitas yang diakibatkan oleh ruang dan lingkungan di sekitarnya. Dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dan kajian pustaka melalui buku, jurnal dan artikel ilmiah, penelitian ini memiliki fokus pada bagaimana suasana kota dan suburban serta orang-orang di sekitarnya dapat mempengaruhi pembentukan identitas Bastian Kollinger sebagai tokoh utama dalam miniseri. Hasil dari penelitian ini dibuktikan dengan menggunakan teori The Metropolis and Mental Life oleh George Simmel, teori Spatial Identity oleh Urs Fuhrer dan menggunakan teknik sinematografi oleh Joseph V. Mascelli dalam menganalisis adegan-adegan pada film.

The miniseries produced by Netflix, entitled Over Christmas (ÜberWeihnachten) shows the formation of identity caused through space and environment. By using a qualitative approach and literature review through books, journals and scientific articles, this research focuses on how the atmosphere of the city, suburbs and the people around him can influence the formation of Bastian Kollinger's identity as the main character in the miniseries. The results of this study are supported by using the theory of The Metropolis and Mental Life by George Simmel, the theory of Spatial Identity by Urs Fuhrer, and using cinematographic techniques by Joseph V. Mascelli in analyzing the scenes in the film."
